A thrilling start to this political / legal suspense drama. Enough tension to keep you on the edge of your set, yet with enough romance to keep it interesting. I loved watching this cast of character team up to investigate the murders and conspiracy.
A romance filled thrilling suspense that is well worth the read. I'm eager to see what's coming next for this series.
What I liked about this book was there was never a dull moment. The author did a great job of keeping the reader engaged, there was always something new happening. I found the storyline very interesting.
I kind of felt like our main characters didn’t have any wounds they needed to work through. It seemed the secondary characters had more to overcome then Marco and Bailey. Not that that took away from the overall story. I still liked Bailey and Marco, I just wanted to know them a bit more and see more flaws.
But overall, I enjoyed the story.
A copy of this book was given to me through Netgalley.com. All opinions are my own.
I enjoyed this book by Rachel Dylan, but I had a hard time with the main character. She is supposed to be an FBI agent, but she couldn't really take care of herself very well. She was always being rescued by the hero. The plot was definitely action packed, but sometimes it seemed too much. There was a lot going on and not all of it seemed remotely believable. Looking past those things, I did enjoy reading it, but would have enjoyed a stronger main character. I will probably read the next book.
I like suspense, and this was an intense look out! What next! and, wow, they need to run again kind of book!
End Game begins Rachel Dylan's series, Capital Intrigue. I thought it was a pretty good read. I am giving it four and a half stars.
This is book one of the Capital Intrigue series. What a great place to start. This book is full of mystery, Suspense and some romance. If you enjoy FBI, NCIS, CIA type stories you will love this one. We meet many interesting characters, which I am hoping continue in this series. The main focus is on FBI special agent Bailey Ryan and NCIS special agent Marco Agostini. I loved the sparks that flow between the two of them. Bailey and Marco must try to solve the murders of spec ops and civilian alike before anyone else dies. This would make a great movie.
Very interesting read. I enjoyed how the story unfolded. I didn't feel like the ending was a foregone conclusion. It was nice to get to the end and still be interested in finding out who was behind all of the drama. Well written. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.
Who can you trust? Who should you believe? Rachel Dylan will leave you wondering just that in her new inter-agency book, End Game. When elite members of the military are murdered stateside within a short timeframe, it can't be a coincidence. FBI Agent Bailey Ryan and NCIS Agent Marco Agostini are joining forces to connect the dots and bring the killer to justice. All leads point to a Navy Seal sniper but not everyone agrees on his guilt. While searching for answers, more crimes are committed and the stakes are getting higher. Someone is targeting those that get close to the situation but who is behind it.
Suspense at it's finest! This one knocked it out of the park with plot twists and high energy scenes. It will have you trying to put the pieces together only to flip to the next page and have a new twist that throws you back to square one. The relationships (not just romance) between the characters is an added bonus. You will get to know every character from the main two down to the sidekicks.
The Capital Intrigue series starts with End Game and focuses on FBI Agent Bailey Ryan. It all begins with three women who found friendship during their classes at Georgetown Law. Now each have careers in difference government agencies. As their stories unfold, you will discover female leading characters with depth, integrity, charm and leadership. If you enjoy NCIS, Criminal Minds and the likes, you will enjoy reading Rachel Dylan's new series.
Rachel Dylan's new series opens with a bang! End Game was a wild ride from page one. I really liked both Bailey and Marco, and their relationship, while slightly adversarial at first, quickly but very realistically morphed into something more. I appreciated how realistic their relationship was. The we-hate-each-other then insta-love relationships in books drive me crazy, but this wasn't that at all. The suspense kept me on my toes throughout the entire book, and I was constantly guessing as to what the outcome would be. My one complaint would be there were a few lines that were somewhat unrealistically dropped. Such as Bailey gets shot in the arm at one point, but then no mention of the injury was made again throughout the book. There were a couple more instances like this as well.
All in all, I greatly enjoyed End Game and can't wait to read more in the Capital Intrigue series! Definitely recommend this book if you love a good suspense\mystery!
FTC Disclosure: I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher. I was not required to write a positive review. These are my honest thoughts and opinions.
Great suspense read! I loved reading this book.
The back cover is a little bit different than the actual story but both are good and I really enjoyed meeting Marco and Bailey. I loved Bailey's friends and Izzy and really hope we get to follow each of them in the books to come. Izzy has had a rough go so far in her 24 years and I want to see what happens next to her.
Bailey repeatedly gets targetted and attacked. Multiple times she could have died and it's interesting to find out how and why people are finding out where she is and how they can get to her.
That, of course, means that someone in the higher-ups is in on the cover-up and things could get dicey.
I loved meeting all the characters. They definitely are interesting and each has their own stories to tell which I hope to get to hear in future books. The storyline had plenty of twists and turns and did not end up how I thought it was going to.
Highly recommend this book and can't wait till other books follow in this series!

I really enjoyed End Game by Rachel Dylan. It is the first book in the Capital Intrigue series and definitely worth reading if you love inspirational suspense romance stories.
This is actually the first book that I've read by Rachel Dylan and I will definitely be reading more by her in the future.
FBI Special Agent Bailey Ryan and NCIS Special Agent Marco Agostini team up to find a possible serial killer in the Washington DC area where most of the evidence is pointing to a Navy SEAL sniper who Bailey is refusing to believe is guilty.
I was given an ARC from the author/publisher. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.
I am already a huge Rachel Dylan fan, but her latest release, End Game, took her writing to the next level! FBI Agent Bailey Ryan and NCIS Special Agent Marco Agostini are a dynamic combination working what starts out to look like multiple serial killer murders. The mystery element was fabulously done with suspects galore. The political intrigue kept the suspense at an all-time high with suspicion on everyone. I loved the incorporation of the different government law enforcement agencies and the romances woven within each of the individual storylines. End Game had me guessing right up to the end. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.
Thank you netgalley for the free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review! I picked this book because I enjoy romantic suspense as well as anything FBI/CIA related. However, it was really hard for me to get into to this one! I enjoyed the story line, but all of it was predictable and too drawn out for me. The characters were nice, but I never felt a connection with them. Overall, a good story just not for me.
Whoa, I love this intriguing thriller is written and devoured for all the readers that love military and government novels. I love the way author Rachel Dylan weaves in the different agencies and has them work together on the murders. Once they are linked up, the FBI, NCIS and other agencies dive in to try to figure out who the murderer could be. End Game will keep you guessing as you enjoy the personalities that may even remind you of a couple of people on some of the shows like NCIS. Who is responsible for killing an Army Ranger, Navy Seal, and a VIP civilian contractor? Serial killer or no?
At first it was a little overwhelming to keep all the characters straight. The writing really is so good and there's a perfect balance of research that has gone into the book so that the technical aspects does not bog the reader down. I love the way the pieces of the puzzle are laid out bit by bit, cleverly bringing the reader into the scenes and story without any whiplash! Definitely would recommend End Game and keep an eye out for more books in the series. This is the first book in Capital Intrigue Series.
Thank you To NetGalley, author Rachel Dylan, and publisher Bethany House for this temporary digital copy for me to review and enjoy. As always, my opinions are my own! #EndGame #NetGalley
Wow! This fast-paced, intriguing thriller keeps the action going and the guesses coming. Who is really guilty of the murders, and what is the connection to the US military or government? FBI Special Agent Bailey Ryan and NCIS Special Agent Marco Agostini join others in trying to stop the crimes, uncover the connections, and solve the mystery. Will they survive the challenge? Not only did this novel hold my riveted attention, but I learned more about the agencies involved and how things work in the crazy DC world. The story seems quite realistic, but I hope things like this don’t actually happen (although it sounds like it could be front page news). Pick up this book for an exciting getaway where you can infiltrate the investigation but not get hurt. I received a copy from the author. All opinions are my own.
End Game is a perfect blend of suspense, intrigue and romance. Rachel Dylan's carefully developed characters will draw you into the intrigue as you try to solve the mystery with FBI Agent Bailey and NCIS Agent Marco. With many twists and turns, you will keep guessing until the very end. Be prepared to lose sleep while reading this page turner. I highly recommend this book to fans of inspirational romantic suspense. I also recommend to those who enjoy watching shows like.

End Game is the second book I’ve read by Rachel Dylan and I’ve been impressed with this newer author. I’ve enjoyed her romantic suspense books as they give me all the twists and turns I desire without being gruesome or frightening. I really enjoyed End Game and am looking forward to reading the next in the series.
With End Game, you get to dive into the exciting world of government agencies- NCIS, FBI, JAG… and one I won’t mention as not to spoil the ending. Some things about this book reminded me of the hit television show, NCIS, including one of the characters, Margo Agostini.
There were a lot of characters to keep straight, starting with 3 pairs of main characters. I enjoyed the different relationships and dynamics between each of these pairs; it was not all romance. There are a lot of suspects and secondary characters. By the end, I was starting to get them confused.
The subplots bring a lot of emotion to the story, especially Izzy’s in particular. No one is safe in this fast-paced romantic suspense. Always expect the unexpected as the plot gets thicker and more dangerous, and like a well, this thing gets deeper than anyone saw coming.
The story has beautiful spiritual lessons that each of the character learn. I love how their faith helps them through the dark times.
I recommend this book for those who love fast-paced suspense and those who enjoy books about the US Government Law Enforcement agencies.
End Game by Rachel Dylan
Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

Story Notes
Rachel Dylan begins a fascinating new series based in the nation’s capital that includes murder, mystery and collaboration between federal law enforcement agencies.
We all have our favorite crime drama shows we love to watch. Rachel Dylan takes the best of those shows and brings readers a story that will have you racing through the pages to reach the conclusion. She begins with FBI Agent Bailey Ryan arriving at the scene of a Navy Seal’s murder. Its the second murder case in as many weeks and given the similarities and the cross over of civilian and military killings, FBI is required to get involved. They’ve agreed to work with local law enforcement to cover all angles but they didn’t count on NCIS coming in on the case as well. Agent Marco Agnostini is a top agent at NCIS and is determined to solve this Seal’s case, even if it means sharing it with FBI. Navigating all the channels of bureaucracy will be made easier if they work together so they create a select team with junior NCIS Agent Isabella Cole and Army CID Agent Jay Graves alongside. As they all work through the paperwork and the interviews, they come up with more answers than questions. It seems that the men that were killed have no apparent ties despite all the evidence that’s searched. That is until they begin to look at private security companies with government contracts. Now, what began as a simple murder investigation explodes into a race to find those responsible before more people are killed. They need to clear the names of innocent military members and find out just what the dead men had in common. But someone is determined to take out any evidence and witnesses before they can be found by the team. If they can’t figure out what’s going on soon, their own lives might be ended by this fiend. Working together brings Marco and Bailey closer than they imagined they ever wanted to be and gives a glimpse of how life might be if they become more than colleagues and friends. If only they can stay alive long enough to solve this case, they might have a chance to have a future together. I loved the complexity of this story. There were many layers and pieces that seemed scattered at first but soon tied together in a masterful web of intrigue and danger. There was also more than just the main story between Marco and Bailey. Two other subplots were included about the JAG officer and other NCIS/CID agents involved which gave a complete picture of what a case like this might involve. This story had just enough law enforcement jargon and technicality to make it interesting but not so much as to make it necessary to have a search engine open while you read. The story and characters were well crafted and the ending provided closure for some things and left others open for future books to provide. I will certainly be recommending this book to others as I’m sure they will enjoy it as I have. Looking forward to the next book in this exciting series.
I received this temporary complimentary E-book from Bethany House Publishers via NetGalley in order to provide a fair and honest review. I will receive no fiscal compensation for this review and the opinions expressed herein are entirely my own.
Rachel Dylan is a master at her craft. If you’re looking for a believable and exciting legal thriller, go ahead and buy all of her books RIGHT NOW. Marked by exciting plots and strong female leads, Dylan takes you into a world you’d never know without her legal expertise.
FBI Agent Bailey is thrown together with NCIS agent Marco to help solve the mysterious deaths of high-profile military members. While all roads point back to an accomplished Navy SEAL sniper, Bailey and Marco believe he is innocent and set out to prove it. Unfortunately, that makes them a target as they fight their way up the food chain.
Bailey and Marco have a playful, intense, and believable relationship; a feat that is hard convey in a story like this. I enjoyed how each of them grew throughout the story, but it didn’t overpower the action-packed plot that kept me turning the pages.
This is probably my favorite book from Dylan, yet! It’s fast paced, has tons of twists and turns, and will keep you on your toes for the entire book. The characters are intriguing (no pun intended!), and I look forward to finding out more about all of them in books to come.
Elite members of the US military are being murdered on the streets of Washington, DC, and all the evidence points to a Navy SEAL, but things aren't adding up. FBI Agent Bailey Ryan and NCIS Agent Marco Agostini are in a race against time to expose the true culprits behind the heinous crimes in this Washington cover-up.
A fast paced read filled with non-stop action, bringing together the best of the best to bring a killer to justice. Multiple people from various branches and agencies team up to find answers, and fight for the truth.
Bailey is courageous and quick on her feet, she leans on her faith to get her through. She is good under pressure, and is dedicated to her job.
Marco is a straightforward man, devoted to his job serving others. He is very outgoing and a natural leader, open and a good friend. I liked how he inspires others, encouraging them in their work, and taking action when the situation calls for it. I admired his strong convictions about his faith, and how he lives his beliefs.
Overall, a fantastic read from beginning to end! I couldn't put it down, and didn't want to. Fantastic characters, well developed, and realistic, with a riveting plot. A great start to what is sure to be an amazing series!
