5 She’s the Light He Didn’t Know He Was Searching For Stars!!!
There’s nothing better than a new series and new characters to fall in love with when they’re written by Kelly Elliott!
Never Enough is the first book in her new series, Meet Me in Montana and I LOVED EVERY SINGLE THING about this book! Lincoln is a young woman that’s starting over with her move to Montana and the purchase of a home located on Brock’s family’s land. While she’s excited for this new beginning, she wasn’t prepared for the attitude that comes from the former home’s owner Brock Shaw!!
Brock’s on the PBR and when we first meet him, my heart completely melted as he talked with his four-year old son Blayze; who by the way, I’ve claimed as my new BBF, so hands off! LOL!! While Brock doesn’t want anything to do with the woman living in his former home, he just can’t get over the attitude he’s throwing her way! He also wasn’t expecting to be attracted to this woman and feelings he thought he’d never feel again…and so begins a relationship fraught with sexual tension!
I loved how the characters in this book are developed and how smooth the story reads. There’s a whole host of secondary characters both related and best friends, including Ty and Kaylee who have their own little thing going on!! Both Brock and Lincoln have a past they’re coming to terms with and I’m not going to lie, when we discover what’s driving Brock’s attitude my heart broke a little bit but I was also a little irritated with him. Just because of his past doesn’t give him the right to treat some people the way he does…but in reality, what’s really driving it his attraction to this beautiful woman and the fact that his son is completely and totally in love with her.
As this book moves through several weeks and months I learned so much about PBR and I love that Ms. Elliott provides this for us because I really felt like I was in the ring when they’re trying to get those elusive 8 Seconds. My heart was rapidly beating and I was almost on the edge of my seat at several moments because I could feel the excitement of being in the middle of it all!
Once Brock gets out of his own way, his relationship with Lincoln changes and becomes something that is charged with chemistry neither have ever experienced…
“This man brought out a side of me that wanted to be a little dirty. I wanted things I never imagined I would want. With Brock, I needed it all.”
And let me tell you, these two are smoking hot together!! Not only is their physical attraction skyrocketing, but their emotional connection is felt deeply by both of them and it’s something neither were expecting to find, but something they both desired. Which leads to a love that while not planned is one that will be a forever love!
I devoured this book because the story is SO GOOD! The Shaw family is one I want to be a part of! There’s love that is felt in everything they do, but there’s also a standard that these Shaw brothers were raised with that when lines are crossed, their Mama and Daddy doesn’t let them off the hook…even though they’re all grown men! And let’s just talk about Blayze Shaw….this boy is precocious, sweet, cute, knows how to treat a lady, already, and has wrapped Lincoln around his little finger. Watching their relationship evolve brought a HUGE SMILE to my face….and as I mentioned earlier in my review…he’s my new BBF…y’all can have Brock, because I’ve the cutest one out of this book LOL!!
When it all comes down to, is this is a great beginning to a new series, with new characters that’s so well written I had no choice but to fall in love with every single word and page. I cannot wait for Ty and Kaylee’s book because it’s going to be a doozie!!

An incredible story set in the Mountains of Montana - Lincoln Pratt needed to get away from Atlanta and she found her slice of heaven in Hamilton, Montana. Brock Shaw lived and breathed to be a Bull Rider even at the cost well everything.
When these two meet it's like Fire and Ice...until it isn't!
This book will keep you captivated and bring you to tears Kudos to Kelly Elliott for such a wonderful story.
I have not read any other books by this author so she is new to me author but let me just say not anymore I plan on reading her other books. So this was a enemies to lovers trope and I ate it up so quickly I loved it and stayed up well past my bedtime to read it, I loved Broc and Lincoln and their angsty romance this book was great! Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for the Arc for honest review
This is the first book I have read from Kelly Elliott and it will not be the last! I really enjoyed this enemies to lovers book and can't wait for more of this series. Brock and Lincoln appear to be so different. Because of this their relationship gets off to a pretty rocky start. However, you can't deny the sparks that fly whenever they are together. Will Brock be able to let Lincoln in before it is too late? Will Lincoln be able to handle Brock's bullriding lifestyle? I couldn't put this one down and can't wait to read more from Kelly!
Title: Never Enough by - Kelly Elliott
Standalone
Genre: Enemies-to-lovers
My rating: 4.5 Stars
Do you love enemies-to-lovers tropes? If so, I think this might be right up your alley!
I’m not new to this author, Kelly Elliott is one of my favorite’s since her ‘Wanted’ series.
And she did not disappoint with this one.
Without delving too much and spoiling it for you; I will say this book was very entertaining and I enjoyed every bit of it.
We start off with Brock Shaw, a recent widower whose immersed himself in Bull riding to escape the pain and guilt he feels after losing his wife. Brock has a son (Blayze) and often leaves him with his family to get his adrenaline high. He’s lost sight of what's important until a certain (stunning) Atlanta native trods through his stomping grounds.
Vivacious and sassy, Lincoln Pratt moves to Montana to get a fresh start. A clean slate.
She hadn’t expected buying a home from a mysterious guy would lead to the most cantankerous love-hate relationship she’d ever had.
Sparks fly.
Hearts ignite.
Passions fuse.
Till they both realize they can no longer avoid one another.
Without any resolve, they crash into each and explore their new sexafide
attraction consuming them.
Will Lincoln be able to handle Brock’s erratic lifestyle: travel, Bull riding, the whole-nine? Will Brock let down his walls and let Lincoln in once-and-for-all before it’s too late?
Final thoughts…
I loved this story. Loved the plot. Loved the characters thought they were well developed. Loved the secondary characters as well. Can’t wait to read Kaylee’s story in Always Enough that’s coming soon! I highly recommend reading!

A story about finding love in unexpected places, the strength of family, learning to let go of guilt and BULL RIDING! Yee-haw!
I really, really liked this book. My tried and true method for gauging how good a book is, is to think how likely it'd be for me to read it again. This one, I would have read again the day after finishing it. That's how great it was!
I don't think I'll ever get bored of the "enemies" to lovers trope. It's probably my favorite one. Cause 99% of the times, it has two of my favorite things to be found in books:
1) A strong, self-respecting, confident woman who is for all intents and purposes is a total badass.
2)An INSANE amount of steamy, delicious, toe-curling sexaul tension. I've said it once, and I'll say it again: THE BEST DAMN PART IN ANY LOVE STORY IS AND FOREVER WILL BE THE SEUXUAL TENSION! Nothing better than a good slow burn, sprinkled with a little animosity and friction.
So, yeah. I loved Lincoln. I loved Brock. I loved all the secondary characters: herBFF, hisBFF, his brothers and parents (the mom was especially great and deserves a dedicated shout out), all the way to the insanely precocious little Blayze. Having a full, fleshed out set of characters makes it so much easier for me, as a reader, to deeply fall into the story. I never take it for granted anymore since it's getting harder and harder to find (for me) lately. Props to the author for creating such a wonderfully realistic, detailed world!
Also, there's something so quaint and luring about small town romances and cowboys. Being from a whole different part of the American continent, everything I know about cowboys, I've learned through movies, TV shows and books. But, I love this premise of gentlemanly, charming men and women who are strong and powerful in their femininity. A men that deeply respects and loves his mama, is a guy I wanna know. And the small town aspect with all the gossip and everyone being in everyone else's business makes a story all the more fun. It's an infallible combo.
I won't go much into the story, cause you can learn everything you need to know from the blurb.
Now, I'm sure someone will wonder why I've rated this 4 stars after singing all its praises. Well, let me tell you. Even though the writing, plot development and flow of the story were incredible smooth and pretty much flawless, oftentime I got janked off this wonderful fictional world because of the dialogue. There were quite a few instances when the dialogue was too forced and overly affected for my liking. I'm not sure if this will make sense to anyone, but they sounded like fake characters instead of real people. I don't like when the "people don't really talk like that" thought crosses my mind multiple times in the span of a book. So, one star less.
HOWEVER! This story is still amazing, I really loved the book and I'm really looking forward (and will be on the lookout) for more books from this particular series. I'm especially looking forward to Ty and Kaylee's story!

Never Enough by Kelly Elliott was a sweet, insta-love, bull-riding romance. Lincoln Pratt decides she needs a change in her life and moves from Georgia to Montana with her best friend Kaylee. She has had everything in life handed to her because of her influential parents and she wants to show she is an independent woman. She buys a house from Brock Shaw, but doesn't interact with him during the process of the sale. Brock Shaw is a tortured man with a sad past. He is a professional bull rider and is frequently on the road, which was a constant cause of conflict for him and his late wife, Kaci. He blames himself for the death of Kaci. They have a young child, Blayze, but he is being raised more by Brock's parents than Brock because of his busy schedule. Lincoln and Brock have an instant connection, but fight it because of their haunted pasts. I was torn while reading this book. Brock's best friend Dirk is part of his sad past, and the interactions they have do not seem to be one of best friends. They both hurt each other and then say they love each other, which felt wrong. I also felt like Brock was much more of a mess in the first quarter-third of the novel and then suddenly wasn't, without any explanation. He drinks and isn't there for his son, and constantly argues with his brothers Ty and Tanner, and their parents. After the first half of the book, however, it got a bit better. The relationship Lincoln and Brock had was nice and the novel read as a continuous sequence of events, each showing more of their connection. Blaze was adorable, almost too good of a kid. I want to know what happens between Ty and Kaylee! Their relationship begins in Never Enough and is unresolved. The realistic depiction of bull riding was great, I actually learned a lot through reading this. This was a sweet romance, but it did feel a bit fast for me. They had a lot they needed to work through and it was worked through when they were getting into a relationship and then when they were already involved with each other. Brock's mother acted more like a young girl Lincoln's age as well, and seemed unconcerned that Lincoln and Brock hadn't even really become an official couple when she talked to them like they were. This book gets 3.5 stars. I would recommend for anyone looking for a romance with bull-riding and single dads with sweet kids.
Great story and characters, I read it in one sitting because the story kept me hooked and entertained, all the way through the end.
Second chances at living your best life and doing what is best for your family are always the hardest things in life but when 2 people with each of those dreams meet, more than those dreams are eat and made
Ooh! Sexy cowboy romance alert!
Brock is a single father who is trying to find a balance in his life between his son and his dangerous career of bull riding. He’s fighting some inner demons related to the relationship with his late life. Lincoln just moved to Montana for a fresh start and to gain some independence from her overbearing family. Brock was hard to like in the beginning. I get he had a lot of guilt issues but he was so rude and disrespectful to Lincoln. Lincoln was open, honest, strong-willed, and quite forgiving. Brock redeemed himself with honesty and opening up.
I really enjoyed watching their romance build, their families input and Brock’s sweet son definitely was a charmer. Even though their connection happened quickly, it was done well. It was a quick read and I liked all the bantering. They definitely had a hot connection with some steamy scenes! I look forward to the series continuing, so many good characters were introduced. This was my first time reading a book by Kelly Elliot and I will definitely be looking for more!
Thank you to NetGalley and Montlake Romance for the opportunity to read this book.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. Thank you NetGalley..
This was my first book by Kelly Elliott. What a great story. The characters were well-developed. The storyline is unique and relatable. I loved this book. I can't wait to read more!
Ride 'em cowboy!
This book has it all. Sexy cowboys, sassy ladies and wacky side characters. There was just the right amount of romance, heat and drama. Brock is suffering with guilt from his past and has a hard time forgiving himself and moving forward with his life. He's convinced he doesn't deserve a second chance at love but Lincoln is able to break down his walls and show him that together they can find happiness. Despite an amazing hero and heroine I must say 5 year old Blayze stole the show!
This book contained a lot of details about professional bull riding which I found interesting and terrifying in equal measures. All in all a great read and I look forward to hopefully reading more about these Montana cowboys and the ladies who rope them.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. All opinions expressed are solely my own.
Emotionally thrilling, sexy, fun and engaging romantic journey filled with exciting charters, witty banter, heart racing twists and undeniable passion..... was a great read. Really was an enjoyable adventure!
I LOVED this book! This is going to be an amazing series!! I can already see all the secondary characters I want to get a book. I want the Shaw brothers but I also need Dirk and Chance!
Kelly has once again made me fall in love with her characters! I have to say Brock was a surprise for me. He was a beautifully broken guy. He had his way of dealing with his issues. My heart broke for him.
Blayze was a little heartbreaker!!! I loved him!! He was such a flirt. Brock is going to have his hands full with that boy!!!
Lincoln was a strong independent woman. Someone you want in your corner. She knows what she wants and she isn’t afraid to go after it. Even if it’s scary.
This is going to be another amazing series by Kelly. She’s once again made me fall in love with all the characters! I cannot wait until the next book comes out! I really hope it’s Ty and Kaylee!!
Book 1 in the Meet Me in Montana Series and what a great start Never Enough is and after reading Brooke Shaw and Lincoln Pratt’s Story I have to say this looks like another hit series for this very talented author. I was excited to meet the Shaw men and I was not disappointed, Brooke Shaw was everything I expected and so much more ......... Brooke Shaw is a making the best of his life trying to get over the guilt and pain he is feeling after his wife’s death, trying to do right by his young son Blaze and still compete on the championship bull riding circuit and sometimes he gets it right and sometimes he gets it very wrong ...... Lincoln Pratt has moved to Hamilton, Montana because she needs to take charge and change her life and she is hoping that this move will be the start of a great career opportunity for her interior design business as well as making her personal life a lot more enjoyable.... This couple may share an instant attraction but that doesn’t mean either are prepared to act on it, sizzling chemistry as well as some witty banter make this an emotional read that will certainly touch you on many levels, the pain Brooke is suffering feels real, the one classic liners from an adorable child feel real and the love this couple end up sharing feels real. This author really knows how to connect her readers with her characters and Never Enough is a perfect example and I can’t wait for more Shaw men!!!!
Kelly Elliott has done a phenomenal job kick starting this new series. She brought heart, emotion and so many feels for this one.
Lincoln has closed her business in Atlanta and moved to the wide-opened space in Montana. When she buys a house on a ranch from Brock she never expected to be attracted to the previous owner, no matter how crabby and grumpy he seems to be.
Brock is a single father who is making a living Bull Riding and had resigned to never falling in love again as he doesn't believe he deserves it as he thinks he made such a mess of it before
I loved these two characters. Lincoln is such a independent woman, I love her bravery in uprooting her life and starting over. She will need the strength she has found when dealing with Brock. When they first meet the chemistry is explosive but so is the tempers. Lincoln is the perfect woman for him, to help him realise that you can have second chance at life and romance, to open his heart again.
Well done Kelly. I am excited to see where this series goes.
This is the first book in the Meet Me in Montana series and it was a great start to the series. Lincoln and Brock were sooo good together. The attraction and chemistry between them was off the charts. If you love hot cowboys, then you need to pick this book up. Ms. Elliott had done it again and I am can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
4.5 stars!!!
Never Enough has climbed its way into my heart and is one of my FAVORITE books from Kelly. There were moments that made me tear up and moments I was straight up giggling. Despite the fun moments, this one seemed to have more of a serious moments such as death, injury, and addiction. Because of those reasons, this didn't seem like Kelly's usual work, which is why it's a new favorite. Brock's cute son, Blayze, pretty much STOLE the spotlight though. 😍 I'm going to need Ty's story soon!
What a great read, packed full of chemistry and a fantastic storyline, I really enjoyed this book from start to finish. Looking forward to more in this series.
Oh, how I loved this book! There is something about a single dad romance that just does it for me. I absolutely love them. Add in the fact that there is bull riding? Be still my heart. I am a HUGE PBR fan, so when I heard that this book was coming out, I knew I was going to love it.
This book did not disappoint. Brock and Lincoln's story was absolutely just what I needed. I loved watching their chemistry together and seeing how their story progressed. Watching Lincoln interact with Blayze was also one of my absolute favorite parts.
Everything about Never Enough was awesome. It's light, it's sweet, and it's amazing.
