I got my first period when I was in 6th grade and I was mortified by it. I cried so much that I missed the school bus. I know the characters in this book are older than I was, but I wish I'd been in a situation like this, being able to talk about it with friends, like the girls in the story. I'm glad to see books like this because I think it helps young girls to understand their period and not be ashamed by it. I thought the whole aspect of the school providing tampons and pads seemed a little unrealistic, but maybe that's the problem.

Fans of Raina Telgemeier and Jennifer Holm will love this book.
This book centers around the the unjustice of 'Aunt Flo.' There is a main theme of friendship and feminism. And of course the rollercoaster of emotions that goes along with High school.

Most appropriate for Jr. High and above.

An engaging graphic novel for tween and teen girls about periods and how to deal with them. It is also about friendship and growing up.

This is the book I needed in middle school and high school and I’m so excited to have found this title! So many people will benefit from this. Young and old.

The art work was very smooth and streamline, it flowed perfect with the story and portrayed emotions and situations in a way that made me feel them too!

I’m proud of the authors for creating such a monumental and inspiring book!

Thank you #Netgalley for this title!
