I liked this book well enough. It moved a bit slower than I would have liked, but I also haven't read any of the series before. I believe had I gone in with more preparation, that I would have immensely enjoyed this book. Albeit, still a bit slow.

This was my first title from Scott Turow, so I wasn't really sure what to expect. The Last Trial was a good legal thriller, but it was very slow to get going. Once it did, it was really good, you just had to stick with it. Very detailed, very well-plotted and interesting.
