Turtledove is one of my favorite authors. I love the way he takes a single moment in time and builds an entirely different timeline than the one that really occurred. In addition, I love his multiple viewpoint storytelling. This is book 4 ( out of 6) in a series and I must admit that you will get the most enjoyment out of the book if you have read the previous books in the series. How will WWII be different? Turtledove knows and you will too if you read The War that Came Early series.
