What a steamy and smoking hot book jam-packed with tension and some major plot points that revolved heavily around relationships.. I loved the overall plot and how the story progressed.
First of all, I'll say that if you're a big fan of 50 shades, then you'll probably enjoy this too as they are VERY similar. For me that wasn't a plus..

Shark's Edge was a really phenomenal book. The characters were great, the vibe was fun, and it was just an entertaining and enjoyable read. Sebastian is exactly what they say a shark and boy he can sink his teeth into me anytime! He’s hot, demanding, knows what he wants and he takes it. And you want him to. Highly recommend!.

Abbigail runs a catering company with her sister-in-law Rio. The favorite contract of Abbi's is the Shark Building. Well, specifically the CEO Sebastian Shark.
Bas is ruthless, thoughtless and cruel. Why does Abbi find him so maddeningly attractive?
Even worse, Bas feels the same way about Abbi. However, Bas will not allow himself to act on those strange feelings. After raising his sister, Bas is determined to be the biggest and the best company in the USA. Nothing and no one will get in his way. It would be much easier if Abbi wasn't delivering his lunch to him every day!.
The interactions between these two were molten.

Shark's Edge by Angel Payne and Victoria Blue. Neither author I've read in the past. Shark's Edge was only an okay book for me. Still liked it but I felt it dragged at times. It was spicy.

Alpha experienced male meets ambitious but inexperienced woman and the sparks fly. Sebastian and Abbigail got along like oil and water except when they kissed. The sparks were undeniable but with the death of an unknown woman attributed to Sebastian and his rival vying for abbigail’s attention, there were a lot of obstacles for these two. Now I just want to know who is coming for the Shark!

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the arc.

First I have to start with this was a phenomenal read people! Angel Payne and Victoria Blue are a “dynamic duo” of authors that are unstoppable and a force to be reckoned with! This is not the first time the two have come together to write and not the first time they have completely blown my mind with their mad writing skills. Seriously, you can’t go wrong with these two authors whether writing together or apart they will take you to places that will please you beyond measures.

Anyways, Shark’s Edge, phenomenal display of writing ever! I hope you read this book because Sebastian Shark will have you feeling so many things it will make your head spin like Linda Blair on the exorcist haha He is exactly what they say a shark and boy he can sink his teeth into me anytime! He’s hot, demanding, knows what he wants and he takes it. And you want him to. Then there’s Abbigail Gibson, beautiful and has her own business with her sister in law Rio who by the way is a riot! And she is a bit of a fire cracker but I think she tries not to be. But she delivers food to Sebastian at his company and that’s how they meet and let me tell you, the sexual tension between these two could set the world on fire ! They certainly burn the pages with how hot it is. With every turn of the page I was held hostage buy the words. I could feel every breath, every touch. I could see it all like a movie it was delicious and so juicy! I love when a alpha does things out of character and boy does she make him crazy with wanting m needing to have her! It really was one of the best books I’ve read in a very long time! The best part is, there’s more books! The ending will have you frantically searching for more pages even though you’ve reached the last and screaming “nooooo! It can’t be done I want more, more, more!” The way it ends there is no doubt you will be purchasing book 2 immediately. I’m going to tell you now. Just buy them all at once because once you start you won’t want to stop! You will crave the next book the second you read the last word. You will want more Sebastian and Abbigail. You will need more. To know what’s next. Well played ladies, well played! Do not miss out on this book. My only question is What are you waiting for?! Go get it now and the rest I promise you it’s worth it!

Angel Payne and Victoria Blue did an amazing job with this first book in the Shark series! This book kept me wondering what would happen next, the passion was just right & not over the top. I truly can not wait to see what the next book brings because I truly fell in love with Sebastian and Abbi. Their passion is intense, and you can't hep but root for them. I absolutely recommend this book and I'm counting down to the next one in the series.

I wanted to love this one but I just felt like the story line was all over the place. Lots of information that didn't seem to be relevant or was super detailed and seemingly for no reason. I probably just need to keep reading for it to all come in to play but I am, unfortunately, undecided if I will continue or not.

Sebastian Shark almost has it all, self-made man, women falling at his feet, a new high rise apartment that will put his name over the top. But there is someone out to stop him. And then there is Abigail Gibson, a self-made businesswoman who brings his lunches each day. He wants her and the feelings are mutual because the sparks fly between them when she is around.
Abigail wants to win all the big businesses, it will help her catering business grow. Although she doesn't want any more clients like Sebastian Shark. He aggravates her as much as he sets her blood on fire. Maybe he will help her with her little problem. And it might get him out of her system.
Can she talk Sebastian into spending the night with her? Will they be able to move past one night? Can they figure out who is out to get Sebastian before things go really bad?
First, I love this author duo and it is the reason I wanted to read this one and I have to say I liked the story and the suspense was an added bonus. I can not wait to read the next one to see who is after Sebastian and to see what happens between him and Abigail.

Two People who have this oil and water connection. He is tough, difficult, and handsome as hell. She keeps running across him and each time is a challenge. Somehow these two end up working together and having sparks.

Angel Payne and Victoria Blue brings us the story of Abbigail and Sebastian. We meet Abbigail as she is in the middle of a passionate dream about Sebastian. Her day starts with a news story about a woman who jumps to her death because of her recent breakup with local businessman Sebastian Shark. We see how they interact with each other as she delivers lunch to his office and he just growls at her as he fantasizes what he wants to do to her. After getting a spot of food poisoning, his talk with the police sends them to Abbigail's door. Fate has them meeting again at his niece's game where her catering company has a stand at the sports park. Every time they meet, the tension keeps building until Sebastian does something about it.

Ms. Payne and Ms. Blue collaborate again in this four book series. You go for a ride with Abbigail and Sebastian as they first dance around each other to figuring out this new relationship with its ups and downs with bits of jealousy and the mystery of the suicidal women thrown in it. Will they be able to get through all of this and their own insecurities and phobias to make this work? Even if they do work things out, will it continue or will the obstacles be their downfall?

I enjoyed reading Shark's Edge and I look forward to continuing Abbigail and Sebastian's journey. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I would like to thank NetGalley and Waterhouse Press for this privilege.

This book was very difficult to get into. I would pick it up then put it down for a week or two. Then pick it up. Then put it down again . It felt like Groundhog Day. In the end I finally kept at it .... and.... I loved it.

I had a hard time getting into this book. He is so over the top with his comments and being a jerk to everyone it really is hard to like this guy. Then the way he treats her so harsh and demanding. There is really no relatability to these characters and it makes it really hard to like them or want to root for them to be together. Just wish they could almost get out of their heads with all the internal monologues and talk to each other and get past some things faster.
