A good motivation book for women. Positive and uplifting. I really liked chapter three. If you read nothing else, read chapter three!
There were suggestions and exercises to help keep you on track and all in all, it was a great read if you're into non-fiction self-help type of women's empowerment shoot for the stars types of reads.
I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Great book! Working through it now and letting the lessons about confidence sink in. I love the laughter and humor in this book--reminds me a little of Shonda Rhimes' writing in the Year of Yes!
Wow. Do yourself a favor and go read this book now!!!! I felt like the author was speaking to me the whole time. This is not your typical self help book. So informative with activities and examples of how you can work through your struggles. I cannot wait to start these practices. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and noted that it is extremely well-written and organized. There is a lot of good, useful, inspiring and meaningful information given. I think all women would benefit from activating their inner Queen energy as the author suggests. I especially liked her suggestions for working with the archetypes who guide our lives and sometimes block us from our deepest desires and goals.
Thanks to NetGalley, the author and publisher for an advanced reading copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
This was a beautiful book. While it uses scripture to support it and not everyone is Christian it was still a good read. I woukd have liked ot if there were quotes from religious texts of many different religions but that is just me. Overall it was a good read.
I would like to thank Netgalley and the publisher for providing me with a copy free of charge. This is my honest and unbiased opinion of it.
A spiritually based pep talk for adapting a mindset of determining your true purpose and taking steps toward that purpose. As a pep talk, this is strong: who doesn't want to be told they are a Queen and can lose weight, make lots of money, live an extravagant global lifestyle, and find the mate of their dreams by praying, ignoring societal expectations, and trusting that guidance from within will lead them? On the practical side, however, this falls short. The anecdotes are unrealistic and the guidance for actual achievements doesn't feel concrete enough to address the realities of life and business.
