Thanks to the author publishers and Netgalley for a free ARC of this ebook. It wasn't the sort of book I'd buy by prerfence but I read it and quite enjoyed it. The characters were reasonably well developed and the story moved along at a good pace. I won't be looking to read.more.by this author, but it was it wasn't a bad read.

I had a hard time coming to grips with interaction between Rafferty and Llewellyn for at the end Rafferty was a boring buffoon with little going for his personality for me to read the next book in the series.
Like good mysteries there was red herrings, interesting suspects and a reasonable plot.
A NetGalley independent review

I read another book in this series and this is the first instalment as far as I understand.
Even if I enjoyed I found the style of writing a bit acerbic and the characters stiff.
I would recommend to start reading this series with further books, not this one.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.
