The SEALs Christmas Baby by Katie Knight is a wonderful Christmas romance with deep and instant emotional connections, steamy chemistry, suspense and danger. Preston is the alpha protector, a Navy SEAL, determined to keep his heart locked down. He succeeds until fate puts Lila right where he can’t miss her as well as the son he never knew about. Lila, while young, is a very strong and capable woman, an excellent mother and also determined not to allow her heart open to Preston again.
Well written romantic suspense with the added element of the heartwarming Christmas season for the entirety of Preston, Lila and Parker’s story as well as their sweet HEA.

A holiday romantic suspense with decent characters and story. This has drama and action with a sprinkle of holiday romance.

The writing is fine within itself, but the story just didn't grab me. The blurb had too much information as well, as it pretty much gave away the entire plot. My thanks got to NetGalley and the publisher for the eARC in return for my opinion.

This was far too cheesy to take seriously. I understand that it's chick-lit and is supposed to be light and easily consumed. however I just couldn't get behind this story.

Lila and Preston are perfect for each other. Except Preston thinks no ties are the best way to live life and it suits his job as a Navy seal. So after spending an idyllic 4 months together he leaves and leaves no way for him to be contacted.

See what happens when fate throws them together again.

This was a sweet Christmas love story with a bit of danger thrown in for excitement. I really enjoyed it.

Lila never expected to have a whirlwind romance with a Navy SEAL, and she certainly didn’t plan on falling in love. Something else she didn’t expect? Finding out she was pregnant not long after Preston Lawson deployed. Worse yet, when she tries to tell him he’s about to be a daddy, she’s informed that Preston was killed in action, leaving her alone and desperate. But after years of struggling to get by, she’s finally created a stable life for her and her son and plans to celebrate Christmas in a big way: by heading to the very lodge where she met Preston. The lodge is decorated perfectly for the Christmas spirit, and Lila is content—if not a little lonely. Until Preston, the I’m-supposed-to-be-dead Navy SEAL shows up out of the blue.
This was a pretty good book. It was fast paced and quick to read. I liked both characters and just really enjoyed it. I look forward to reading the next book from this author.

When a technical glitch lists Navy SEAL Preston Lawson as Killed in Action during his last deployment both he and the Navy decided to use that mistake to discover exactly who the traitor is that caused death and destruction to his unit by letting him go into Black Ops missions. While that may have been the right choice for him then, it was also a choice where he didn’t have all the information needed to give up on his life as he once knew it – like the woman he’d loved and left behind discovering she’s pregnant with his child and having to face a future alone believing the man she’d loved had died.

Fate is often a fickle thing much like Christmas garland which weaves itself around and into a tree creating a thing of beauty out of something very ordinary. Fate will play another hand in the lives of Lila and Preston and their son as they meet once again at the mountain lodge where they first fell in love – and discover that danger is on the prowl for Preston’s family. Now he has choices to make… and so does she.

THE SEAL’S CHRISTMAS BABY is a fast-paced, intense Romantic Suspense that will capture your attention early on and hold it close until the ending. Lila and Preston have sizzling chemistry between them that easily grows into a love that could last a lifetime – they merely have to survive a few pitfalls and the danger straight in their path. I enjoyed myself in this world and would not hesitate to recommend this story to any reader who loves a sexy hero, a ready-made, if unexpected family, and a plot that will have you flipping pages quickly.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

I understand that when reading fiction you need to suspend a certain amount of disbelief but there were so many inconsistencies and implausible situations that i couldn't enjoy the story. It may be that the book needs more editing but I just found it frustrating. There also was very little chemistry between Lila and Preston. They say how much they thought about the other and wanted to be together but there's not any real passion. This book was just ok.

When Lila finds out she is pregnant, she tries to contact the baby's daddy to let him know. When told he has been killed she mourns and goes on with her life. Taking a holiday break, she takes her young son to the mountains for the holidays, and lo and behold she recognizes the man in the next cabin as the father of her child. Still unclear why he faked his death, and the mob guy trying to steal her son seemed odd. A good story, but parts could have been described and expanded on to make a stronger story. I would recommend if you want a quick easy read. Just wanted a bit more.

Navy SEALS are though and their lives are harsh, but when Preston meets Lila his world is an bit lighter 🤗.
When he goes back to his mission he has zero believes to see Lila ever again...

**I received a copy of The Seal's Christmas Baby from Relay Publishing and Net Galley in exchange for a voluntary and honest review. The opinions expressed below are mine and not solicited in any way.**

The Seal's Christmas Baby by Katie Knight was a quick and delightful read of second chances for both Lila Holden and Preston Lawson.

They met during the summer at the lodge where she worked and he was taking leave from the Navy Seals but when he's called back to duty, she finds out she's expecting a baby she's told that Preston has died during a op which was a clerical error. He was given a chance to find the person who planted the IED that took his teammates life. But when he shows up again after 3 years at the same lodge she'll have to decide if she wants Preston involved with Parker. Could their Christmas become a happily ever after? When Lila starts having accidents and a person tries to enter their cottage, Preston will do whatever it takes to protect his new family.

This is a sweet story with enough steam to keep you interested! It's a great tale of a growing family, hard decisions, and learning to trust. For my fans of military romance, they will be enthralled as I was!

This is a really cute story. Definitely for fans of HEAs. Only thing that needs corrected is that Navy SEALs are sailors not soldiers. Soldiers serve in the Army.
Fully enjoyed the story though.

THE SEAL'S CHRISTMAS BABY by Katie Knight and Leslie North is a super fast read. .A second chance romance with a touch of intrigue and danger.

This was a good book. Preston and Lila had a brief affair and she loved him, but he knew he couldn't commit to her because of the missions he was going on. When she finds out she is pregnant, she tries to find him only to discover that he is reported as dead. There is a good reason for that but she will not know that for some time. As she strruggles to make ends meet, she has to deal with some shady people who then try and cause her trouble. The couple have some strong chemistry and because Preston is reported as dead, he has assumed another name. He tries his best to help find out who is causing trouble for her and they reconnect again. A strong romance and a man learning he has a son and is loving it. I got this book from NetGalley for an honest review

A very different Christmas holiday then what both Lila and Preston anticipated. I enjoyed, The Seal's Christmas Baby. The only thing that could have made it better, is more Seals.
