Rayne is a Antiquities dealer she knows want people want and goes after it.
Chase loves history she believes that learning from the past can help the future she doesn't believe using archaeology as a way to make a profit.
When criminal Turner as Rayne to find the legendary Golden Trinity she decide to steal it herself with the help from her bodyguards Toynck and Ginn but when she needs Chase help to read the map she knows she has to be convincing , Chase still hurting from a past betrayal doesn't trust Rayne but she always wanted to know if Golden Trinity is real or a myth and she also want to help the local tribes.
This was a good read I love everything how they tried to stay one step ahead of danger as Rayne and Chase start to open up to each other as they try to stay alive.

This book is awesome! I can't think of any other books to compare this to and that's a refreshing change. It was interesting with the history component. There wasn't a moment I was distracted or felt like "oh, this is filler". The characters were enjoyable even with their complicated histories and long standing conflict. This book is a winner all the way through. It's probably fantasy, but I could see at least another book or two following these two in their archeological/treasure hunting adventures and I would happily devour them.
