Sensitive and timely.
I really enjoyed this book. Not only is the writing style conversational and down to earth, the author manages to hit that tone while also being incredibly in-depth with his subject matter. The discussion of cultural appropriation was also handled really well in my opinion.
All around just a really interesting addition to my spirituality/self-help shelf.
Don't let the title fool you. This book has big heart and big ideas. The author usefully, carefully unpacks alchemical, transformational ideas and recommendations for daily, magical living. The recommendations build on each other in bite-size fashion. I highly recommend this book--a very common-sense approach.
This book is filled with plenty of tips and tricks for your daily practice. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or a beginner there is something useful for everyone. I got so much out of the book and highly recommend it.
A good book that makes you think about everyday life and give you ideas about changes and reflections.
It's well written and it was an interesting read.

Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.
It’s okay and does have some good information. A few topics introduced. There is some meditations and exercises also.
Sorry for possible English mistakes!!!
This is an excellent book! It is more about preparation for magic than for magic itself (though there are instructions for spells constructing). But what kind of preparation ? It is exactly kind of preparation of which well known occult writer Israel Regardie talking about in his many books, also Aleister Crowley, Dion Fortune., Franz Bardon, W.E. Butler etc...This is great book about "little work" which will open to you greater insights into magical world. We can forgive author for his over-writing in just few places. This book will be great "boost" in right direction if you're on magical path.
