Short book chock full of easily digestible and tangible things to do to actively work towards mindful parenting. There are always suggestions for how to adapt the tools for a child's use, as well.
This is a great practical introduction to Mindfulness. Especially since it gives so many ways to put it into practice for adult and child. It starts with breathing techniques, grounding, and even give acronyms to easily remember.
It continues on to joy/gratitude, and compassion which were beautifully worked in.
The only downside is if you have done previous research into mindfulness, it may be too basic in the beginning for you. I think it would still be great to sit down and show a child almost as a workbook if that is the case.
As a mobile therapist, many of the ideas weren’t new, but I love how simply and practically the ideas were put!
