This is another one that I had had on my Kindle for a long time and I finally got around to reading it this weekend.

I enjoyed the premise of the story. He helps her saves her business, she helps him get into shape and looking good for his upcoming custody battle.

From the start it is obvious where they are going to do with the story. It is a tried and tested formula that tends to work out pretty well.

Overall, I enjoyed the story and the characters.

However, unlike previous books from this author, I didn’t LOVE it.
There were A LOT of other characters in this. It was a little hard to keep them in my head and remember who was who. This is a big series of books though, so maybe why there was so many of them.

I liked Gail and Simon together. They had fun and made each other laugh. It seemed weird that they had been working together for years and didn’t like each other but I decided to go with it.

The most annoying part to this was the last couple of chapters. When Simon left Gail to go to his son’s side, knowing his ex-wife had a restraining order. I rolled my eyes and almost wished he would be arrested, for being a total idiot.

It all worked out in the end though.
It was a bit too cheesy and predictable but it was an easy read, with a happy ending. I have a couple others on my Kindle to read, from this series and will start making my way through them.
