It was very adorable and very cute.
But sometimes it felt too cute and too adorable? yknow. The characters did not have any growth, and when they meet it is bam bam, perfect. And was it any point having the twist with her brother? And ofcourse it happend some thing at the end that staggered their relationship, slightly. But it was okay. But i wished there were more, espesially since it sounded so good.
Lady Elizabeth Tyndale has endured a string of bad dates. She’s not sure if sharing her opinions and business sense scared potential boyfriends away, but what’s the point of having an opinion if she never expresses it? When her brother and sister-in-law invite her to join them on a trip to San Diego, she reluctantly agrees. Besides, what does she have to lose? She’s certainly not burning up the dating scene in England. Computer Programmer Jackson ‘Jack’ Stanfield doesn’t date much. He’d rather bury himself in code because computers are simple, but people are complicated. When his college buddy invites him to a BBQ, Jack reluctantly agrees to attend. He’s not prepared for his intense reaction when he meets Elizabeth Tyndale. Can the British beauty draw Jack out of his shell and open his heart to love?
This was a decent read. It was light and quick to read. The characters were likable and the overall plot was good. I recommend.
**I voluntarily read and reviewed this book
This is the first book I have read by this author and was not disappointed. I loved both characters of this story.
Lady Elizabeth, having had some bad dating experiences accepts the invitation to travel to San Diego with her brother and sister-in-law.
At a barbecue, she meets computer programmer, Jack, who also has not been lucky in love. The two immediately hit it off. I loved Jack's character. He was so adorable. I fell a little in love with him myself!
I highly recommend this story.
Thank you Debra Elizabeth and NetGalley for allowing me an advance copy for my honest feedback.
