A beautiful, inspiring book! A good general book on herbal focus in witchcraft. Beautiful illustrations and easy to read.
I received an advanced reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers.
What a fantastically detailed book of herbal recipies and remedies for anyone wanting to learn the craft of Magik.
The book is a fantastic guide that teaches you to go along with the natural flow of nature to achieve the art of the contents of this book.
The pages are beautifully displayed and easy to follow.
I loved the recipies and although finding some of the ingredients will be tricky, i really want to give afew a go.
A fantastic guide that has an abundance of things to try and knowledge steeped in the pages.
This was a neat book. It goes in depth and has lots of information, a nice layout and organization and I loved the illustrations and photos.
I received this book from Netgalley.
A decent book about witchy herbalism. I really like the suggestions for attuning to the seasons and there's some food for thought. I found the recipes interesting but a lot of them use ingredients I've never heard of and wouldn't know how to obtain. The writing is very cis-centric but I appreciate that the author acknowledged this in the beginning of the text.
Overall a decent book, probably not one of my absolute favourites but I've definitely read worse.
This is one of the most interesting and informative book I read on this topic.
I liked how the book was organised, the clarity of the explanations and the ideas.
A very useful read.
Strongly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.
I loved this. It had so tips and tricks that I can’t wait to try. I probably will have to purchase a physical copy of this after it’s published because it is beautiful.
A look through the season with different herbs and rituals. Some introductory information about a few topics relating to other information later on at the beginning. Some nice recipes and rituals to use or adapt.
This was a different read than what I was expecting and not in a bad way at all! I've been reading a lot of spiritual books as of late but none have been about Apothecary so this was a welcome departure and I'm happy to say that I learned quite a bit about it.
I am very much open and into rituals but haven't done any in awhile so I feel this is perfect for me at the moment and enjoyed reading about the different types and also the herbs which are required out of them.
All in all this was an interesting read and one I am glad I am lucky to have read.
Thank you very much to Netgalley and the publisher for this copy of my ARC.
Thank you for the opportunity to read and review this book. This is an ongoing topic that I really like to learn about. I absolutely everything from even the preface of the book. I loved the "togetherness" and "we are one" aspects of it. It went very deep and was very thorough and I did not expect that. I really enjoyed this one.
5 out of 5 stars!
I absolutely loved this! This is perfect for anyone just curious to open their mind about witchcraft or those practicing and wanting to learn more about working with herbs and so much more. I myself have starting looking in Wicca and witchcraft and this will definitely be a part of my collection when it's out!
It covers everything from moon phases to elixir recipes. This covers it all. I haven' t really seen that much about Green Witches or herbal magick and it was facinating to learn more about it with this book. Even down to the illustration and font choices were beautiful.
I will be posting a full review on my Goodreads closer to the publication date
