A book about a grandmother and her grandson. I'm always a sucker for these sorts of stories. Cute pictures.

Nana loves her grandchild. She is one of those overly active grandmas that need to go to every show, every practice, etc. She sometimes gets way too involved, but when she gets hurt, only her grandchild will be able to help keep her home and healing. Honestly, I thought this book was boring. The illustrations are nice, but also a little boring. Someone will love it, just not me.

Nana Says I Will Be Famous One Day is a children's book with loveable characters that showcase the importance of family. These characters show that not only do adults/grandparents take care of you, but that you should take care of your adults as well!

Children and adults will also enjoy the word play with the characters, who are dogs, doing things such as doggie paddle, downward facing dog, and other dog related activities. They will also learn about types of sports and plays within sports.

This is a cute book that is great for any grandparent to read to a child!

This is a cute book that would be a lovely gift for grandparents day, or a child who has a “Nana”. The illustrations are colorful and fun; and encapsulate the joy of grandmother and child relationships. I was a little put off by the end, as I wanted the Nana to learn a different lesson, but overall this is a cute story.

What a lucky little grandson to have such a supportive and loving Nana. This delightful, intergenerational story will warm your heart.

This Nana is awestruck by the possibilities she envisions in her beloved little grandson. She attends every sporting event and school activity he participates in emerging as his number one cheerleader and fan. She comes across as pushy and overbearing to those in charge of these events but her heart has one goal... to lift up and be there for her sweet little guy. For instance, she screams at the umpire that he needs to get his eyes checked, steps in and recalibrate the football coach's strategy for a win and dances in the aisle at his music concert. Oh my! Is Nana taking things a bit too far?

And then the unthinkable happens. Nana falls and breaks her ankle. She is unable to direct and dominate her grandson's activities. Will he be happy or sad that she is out of commission and confined to her home now?

The illustrations are cartoonish and extremely well implemented. They are full of detail, emotion and activity. Even though Nana is an elderly "stage mother" her grandson loves her deeply and practices the rule of reciprocity. He takes care of her in her time of need just as she takes care of him in all that he is involved in. I love the message of the book and I highly recommend it.

Absolutely loved this story! It was so accurate about how grandmas or nanas behave. So accurate that I couldn’t help but laugh at each page. I’m sure parents will get a good chuckle at the nanas behavior too. The graphics added perfectly to the story. This is one of those books that will get read and reread hundreds of times during a child’s life.

Nana, Gigi, Mimaw, Grandma, so many different names for the one who cheers her grandchildren. Nana is all about it. She goes to all the games, she makes sure you are the first in line, and she will buy anything you are selling. She knows you will be famous one day. Nana believes in you and what a great message to share with your grandchildren.

This was a great little book about family and love. It was wonderful to see how much nana supported him, and was there for everything he loved, at the front row. It was great to see that, when Nana was the one who needed support, he jumped at the chance to be there to help her. It shows a great story and was one we really enjoyed reading.

This is a cute book about a Grandson and his Grandmother who is his biggest support, inspiration and number 1 fan in everything he does - swimming, baseball, soccer, painting etc and then one day Grandmother breaks her leg and he supports her in return.
This is a basic story but with cute illustrations.

“Nana Says I Will Be Famous One Day” by Ann Stott is the cutest story about a Nana who is her grandson’s biggest fan. His Nana is at every event and game cheering him on with support and enthusiasm. This book would make a wonderful gift for a child or grandparent. I love the story and would highly recommend!

This was a sweet book about a boy and his Nana. His Nana is his biggest fan she goes to all of his events and saves all of his artwork. This is a great book about a relationship between grandma and grandson.

This story is about a Nana who is her grandsons number one fan. But what happens when grandma needs cheering up. It's a good story about the relationship between grandparent and grandchild.

Cute, short story about a dog who has his biggest fan in his grandma. It's a darling read and I'm sure it'll be an encouragement for children to see their grandparents as their number one fans.
I love that the characters are dogs! It's a refreshing perspective. What's also new is that the focus is on the relationship between grandma and grandson, making it a multigenerational book.
The illustrations are beautiful and clear, not just simple drawings. Andrew Joyner did a good job here!
I recommend this for children aged 3-5.

Like Gertrude Stein said about Oakland, there is not much there, there. Sure, this book is cute anthropomorphic doggies, but beyond that, not much else. Yes, it is cute how much the grandmother cheers on her grandchild, and it is sweet that the grandchild cheers on the grandmother when she is injured, but that is the whole story.

We don't get much more than super enthusiastic grandmothers and grand children.

Cute pictures though.

Thanks to Netgalley for making this book available for an honest review.

Ah! Puppies are such a wonderful way to tell a story and I genuinely couldn't help falling in love with this adorable little tale. Nana Says I Will be Famous One Day by Ann Stott and illustrated by Andrew Joyner is one of the most emotion-provoking children's books I've ever come across. It is the easiest thing in the world to feel deeply attached to the characters of this story, that of a grandma and the grandson she never ceases to provide with her eternal love and support.

The crux of this story is the fact that Nana is always there rooting for her grandson. She never misses any of his games, is always there cheering him on no matter what his endeavors, and she does it with such gusto and energy that near everyone knows her by name. She is an everlasting presence of spirit and encouragement.

But one day Nana finds herself injured.

And now she is in need of that very same cheerful and proud support she gave her grandson all his life.

It was wonderful to see how this story played out, to watch as Nana goes around with a wild energy cheering on this child that she loves so much. It was even more amazing to see how her grandson reacted once Nana was injured, how he became her support and her rock just as she had been for him all that time.

The artwork was beautiful in so many ways. The dog-theme is a fantastic one that will be sure to garner and keep the attention of any child reading this book. It's bright and colorful and you really feel for these characters. It truly is the most perfect blend of beautiful heart-wrenching story and exceptional artwork.

I am, unquestionably, quite a fan.

This book is adorable and I can't wait to read it to my grandson! The illustrations are engaging and the story is on point. The perfect gift for any doting grandma to buy their grandchild but be prepared for Grandpa to get jealous!

This is about a grandma and grandson. The protagonist's Nana always supports him, it doesn't matter what, Nana is always there to cheer him up. It had so many funny moments and the illustrations are amazing as well.

This is a story that will be felt by everyone who love their grandparents. A child always need someone to support them and guide them through difficult times so they can learn the importance of love and goodwill. And who can do this more graciously than our grandparents. A truly wonderful story about unconditional love that kids would love to read.
