This book will not disappoint. It started off with a bang and just took off!! The story was great and I did not figure it out!!! Kept me entertained!!!

I will always always be the first in line to read these authors. I loved The Wife Between Us and An Anonymous Girl, so when I saw You are Not Alone was coming out, I had to have it! You are Not Alone kept me hooked and interested from the first chapter to the last.
Shay Miller is the protagonist of the book who witnesses a stranger's suicide at the subway station. She half-attempted to stop the jumper, but she was unsuccessful. The only thing left of the crushed young woman is a necklace which Shay absentmindedly puts into her pocket. That necklace will lead Shay into a very dangerous and unexpected world of women and secrets. These women become the friends she's always wanted and she feels they are her comfort and salvation and pathway to a new and beautiful world. I will not spoil whether or not Shay is correct, but I will say that I felt a great deal of empathy for Shay. I think everyone has insecurities and longs to be accepted and part of a group. I felt Shay ignored some obvious red flags in the name of acceptance.
I have enjoyed all of their books, but I enjoyed this one the most. I recommend it and enjoyed it very much!

Another great thriller by Hendricks and Pekkanen. Readers will enjoy the twists and turns and be on the edge of their seat throughout the book.

Another gripping thriller from Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen, authors of The Wife Between Us and An Anonymous Girl; these authors will once again keep you guessing and definitely flipping pages to discover what happens next. In this novel, Shay, a lonely New Yorker, witnesses a young woman jump in front on a subway. She soon finds herself befriending the woman’s best friends, two glamorous sisters, and their involvement in her life suddenly brings about changes to Shay’s life, including a new job and new digs. But not all is as it seems as the authors bring the reader on a fun, yet paranoid, ride, exploring how Shay’s life changes due to the sisters’ influence.
Thank you to St. Martin’s Press and NetGalley for the ARC.

I finished You Are Not Alone in just over a day - thank you Net Galley for the advanced copy! It was a fast paced and fun read from the author duo of The Wife Between Us and An Anonymous Girl, two really solid thrillers that did not disappoint me. I will honestly say that I found those previous two more gripping, their twists and turns more exciting and unexpected, but You Are Not Alone did have one revelatory plot twist at the end that left me happily satisfied in the way only books of this genre - that are solidly written and well-plotted - can do. At this point I would read most anything by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen. Thrillers and psychological suspense is an oversaturated genre but they consistently deliver solid books in the category. I would give this 3.75 stars.

I loved this psychological thriller. You Are Not Alone explores the infinite human psyche of girls friendship. I recommend this excellent page-turning suspense.

👀 👀 👀 👀 A terrific, intriguing thriller — I think the best so far from Greer Hendricks & Sarah Pennanen. I knew absolutely nothing about the plot before diving in, and I think that’s the best way to approach this book.
But briefly...the story kicks off with a down-on-her-luck 30-something woman named Shay witnessing a tragic suicide on a NYC subway platform. That bit of bad luck sets off a chain of events that is really best uncovered in the pages of the book, but I found the journey and payoff to be worth it.
The fast-paced story is told in alternating viewpoints as is typical of these authors, and had me guessing up until the very end. I think fans of their other work will be drawn in and devour this latest title.

You Are Not Alone by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen did not disappoint! I love the cat and mouse games in their novels. You are never quite sure what is actually going on. I thought I had this one figured out but I was wrong! You should definitely read this one. It was a fast paced story with plenty of chills. I really enjoyed the different narrators and timelines. Thanks to the publisher and Net Galley for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

Copy furnished by Net Galley for the price of a review.
A seemingly random act of suicide witnessed by a young woman continues to haunt. Her name is Shay and she becomes obsessed with it, digging into the victim's past life to learn more. With an utter love for statistics, she logs numbers as they pertain. Numbers don't lie, you know. Without quite realizing how it happened, Shay is taken under the protective wings of a sort of sisterhood. What begins as a new lease on life becomes a slow twist that segues into a nightmare.
I liked this story, but it did not have that "Pow! Right in the kisser!" factor that the authors' first two novels packed for me.

Another great story from Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen. Definitely didn’t end the way I was thinking.
Shay Miller’s life was slowly running away from her. She had no few friends, no good job prospects, and was being forced out of her apartment. Enter the golden Moore sisters and they spectacular life. Better yet, they wanted to invite Shay into their beautiful life. But at what price? And why is Shay suddenly being investigated for a crime she knows nothing about? Some things really are too good to be true.

Meet Shay Miller - her one desire is to belong. Her job is a dead end and her only friend is moving in with someone else. One day Shay watches a girl jump in front of a moving subway car and her life is instantly changed. She finds herself obsessed with this person and why she would commit suicide. When attending the memorial service, Shay finds herself entangled with the Moore sisters. The Moore have everything: perfect job, glamorous life, and an unbreakable circle of friends. Shay would give anything to have this life, but at what cost?
Greer and Hendricks have this perfect thriller writing style. You’re reading and have no clue what is going on … and then you think you know what’s going on, but in reality you have no idea. I absolutely love this! The novel focuses on Shay, a single data analyst living in NYC and her struggle to belong. When she crosses paths with the Moore sisters, they seem nice and interesting, but in good writing fashion nothing is what it seems. Every so many chapters the author would switch narrators and have a chapter focus with the Moore sisters or another character to see how the plot will enfold, which all ties into the Moore sisters’ web.
I would absolutely recommend this novel. It is a great make a cup of tea and cuddle on the couch book. You will absolutely devour this in only a few sittings. Due out March 3rd.

Holy moly!!!! I finished this book in two days! It was the third book I’ve read by this duo and my favorite so far! It was faced paced and kept me on the edge of my seat! Can’t wait to see what they come out with next! Thank you!!

These are two of my favorite authors. I have reviewed other books by them and I still maintain that they are a powerhouse together.
The reason for the low rating for this book is because I just didn’t find it entertaining. Coming from this pair I expect riveting drama, deep emotional undertones and while there was a little. It was minute compared to their other books. I didn’t feel the need to rush back to this book, it wasn’t a page turner, and there was no wow factor other than who Valerie turned out to be.
I will say it was a well-written book, but the plot was just very weak and underdeveloped.

Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen have done it again. You Are Not Alone is twisted and compelling with a unexpected ending. Shay is lonely and feeling stuck in many aspects of life. When she witnesses a tragic death at the subway station, things get even worse for her. Unexpectedly, Cassandra and Jane Moore enter her life and Shay can’t help but think they are the answer to her prayers. However, as dark and unexpected things start to happen, Shay has to figure out if some things - and some people - are just too good to be true.

Shay Miller, thirty-one years old, lives with Sean, who she secretly loves. Sean has a girlfriend. Shay works for a temp agency, and her life is very ho hum.
Amanda Evinger, twenty-nine, single, a nurse who loves to bake.
Shay and Amanda do not know one another, but one fateful day their paths cross and Shay witnesses a tragedy. Shay has a difficult time overcoming what happened and develops a phobia. In order to grasp and deal with the weight of the tragedy, Shay attends a service where she meets Cassandra & Jane Moore, who are successful, beautiful sisters. Cassandra & Jane, are good friends of Amanda's. When Shay is asked how she knows Amanda, she isn't completely honest.
In a short period of time, Shay's life intertwines with the Moore sisters. Shay's life isn't so boring and good things are happening. Shay contributes that to the Moore sisters having saved her. The Moore sisters are everything Shay would like to be, and hopes one day they will love her; as much as, they do Amanda.
Is Shay, the worst possible person, or the best possible person?
This was a fantastic, thrilling read! It's told from many perspectives with lots of twists and turns. I, highly recommend this book for anyone who loves a good thriller that keeps you guessing.
I received an ARC from NetGalley via St. Martin's Press and I have voluntarily reviewed this book.

I was captivated by this story. I loved An Anonymous girl by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen so when I received an email with the opportunity to read You Are Not Alone I could not wait to read it.
Shay is approaching 30 she has no boyfriend, few close friends, a job as a temp and is missing the relationship she has with her roommate because he has a new girlfriend. Her life is not as she hoped it would be and she is questioning what will be next. Unfortunately when she is at her lowest she sees another woman on the subway platform who really reminds her of herself: and that woman just jumps in front of the inbound subway train. Shay is devastated.
The Moore sisters seem to have everything. They are beautiful, successful and powerful and they want to be Shay's friends. Are things finally changing in Shay's favor?
You need to read this book. People are not always what they seem.
Thank you for the opportunity to read this book. I look forward to more like this.

SOOOOO GOOD!
I have been a huge fan of this duo since the moment I started reading The Wife Between Us so when I received the ARC of You Are Not Alone, I was hyped!
This does not disappoint. Amazing story line and what a plot twist! I loved Shay and loved that she was such a smart and well developed character. I was always on her side!
The appeal of the sisters is so understandable and was crafted so perfectly. This book had a younger feel that TWBU but was still amazing.
Please don't ever stop writing together!

After reading and loving the first book I read from these incredible authors I knew I needed this book in my life. I am overwhelmed with this book. I will shout it out from the rooftops. Read this book if you want to live again in the fast and dangerous lane of chaos.

This is the third book by the writing team of Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen and they’ve really hit their stride in the thriller category!
The first chapter will take your breath away and grab your attention. It’s a fast-paced read and hard to write about without revealing spoilers. The authors have once again created an interesting story line that takes the reader on a road with many unexpected twists and turns. As with their previous books, the characters are well developed and you can envision them living in NYC (although maybe not Manhattan)!
This book follows the same structure: there’s a main character, Shay, who’s a young woman happy to be living in NYC, but facing challenges with her employment, love life, living situation, and life in general. She witnesses a horrible act and it then shapes the rest if the story, including meeting up with a group of women whose lives seem to be the opposite of hers. But, are they? And, with any good thriller, what’s beneath the surface?
Thanks to St. Martin’s Publishing Group and Netgalley for the opportunity to read You Are Not Alone!

These two have a gift for making inconceivable twists believable enough to not be jarring. Unfortunately, they counterbalance that by pointing out inconsistencies that are more fun when the reader to discovers them on her own.
