Aden showed his sweetness right from the beginning in his treatment of an abused dog. He continues to show this kindness in everything he does. When he must, he becomes demanding and possessive. So sexy!

His character is written so well it’s almost like he has a physical presence. He seems tangible. I swear I heard his accent and could see his tall, broad body and trademark smirk. I liked him a whole helluva lot!

Miranda is sassy and brave. She made the perfect match for Aden giving as much as she got.

Together Miranda and Aden are sweet and loving. A tentative love blooms and it becomes all-encompassing. They are honest, forthright and absolutely cute together.

I must admit that I love the brothers’ outrageous bet with their shoe wear. It was ridiculous and oh so funny.

I need more of these Hylanders! I cannot wait to read Coll’s book!

I’m really enjoying this series. I loved that Miranda was smart and tried to work her way around her problem but was also willing to ask for help when she couldn’t. I think that is a great characteristic to have. Aden was charming, smart and a little hard headed. The chemistry between them was apparent on first meeting, with the verbal sparring. I loved that they goaded each other, but were also able to keep up. I really enjoyed this book and I can’t wait for the next one.

This is the second book in the series. I read the first one a while ago but you really don't need to read the first one to understand it. The characters are likable... all except for the heroine's brother. He's the bad guy so that's okay. :) I do like the plot too.

Love this author I can always count on her books to take me on an adventure. I’ve never been let down by her books. The storyline was so captivating and engaging the characters were so amazing well written and believable. If you like Historical fiction and Scottish theme you’ll enjoy this book.

I enjoyed this historical romance very much. A fascinating highlander who has come to England to wed an English wife and an aristocratic girl whose life is threatened by an impostor. A unique historical romance owing to some naughty scenes, whose characters are both very passionate and determined. It is thanks to their intense personality, in particular of our male hero, the whole story that initially gives the impression to be a bit messy will develop in an egregious way. A great book with charming characters.

What an interesting read! Miranda Harris finds herself a pawn from her brother’s gambling losses and promised to Captain Vale. Vale has orchestrated the entire thing as his entree into society in London. Miranda despises gamblers because of family history so when she meets Aden Mac Taggert, she is rude and insulting. However, it is to Aden she turns to ask for advice on how to deal with the mess she is in. Their relationship slowly changes as they plot to free her from Vale.
I really enjoyed this story as the plot was intriguing and well thought out. I received an ARC of this book.

I really loved the first book of the series. I really liked Aden in the first book and I was happy to know he was getting book. Miranda is in trouble and goes to Aden for help and he needs help finding a bride. The plot was really good.

Scot Under the Covers was a fun read with feisty characters in Highlander Aden and proper English society woman Miranda. The two are brought together when Miranda seeks out Aden's gambling expertise after her brother's lack of skills put her in an unenviable position. Of course the two bicker before falling for each other, but they're both enjoyable characters on their own that are smart and resourceful. The presence of a realistic villain for the time the story takes place makes a more compelling story, but the naivete and weakness of Miranda's brother doesn't make me overly enthusiastic about reading a future story about him as a romantic lead unless Enoch creates an opportunity for a lot of personal growth.

OMG - What a marvelous read this was!. Not that I didn’t expect it from the pen of Ms Chamberlain however, I am always amazed with the depth and genius of the subject matter she creates her stories from. Both Anna and Morgan were fully fleshed out and had similar dysfunctional type of backgrounds. Anna possibly a little less than Morgan who thought by saving her boyfriend she had finally found someone who cared about her.

Anna’s story was much more of dealing with Southern prejudices towards colored folks that had not been quite so bad in New Jersey. The powers to be in that town had sent Anna helpers but the one who stood out, having raw talent was Jesse. Anna had to champion him and convince him to continue school and to develop his innate talent. Unfortunately the small mindedness of the population interpreted her interest as something else.

When so many years later Morgan arrived to restore the mural she was astounded by the sheer madness the mural conveyed. What had happened to the artist who held ,such amazing talent that had turned a mural into a depiction of insanity and horror? With flashbacks and some super sleuthing Morgan, whose freedom depended on finishing the project would work tirelessly to restore and discover the secret of Anna’s disappearance! Stunning work and a marvelous mystery!

Even if it is not the book about Call, that I am waiting for since the beginning, I liked this about Aden a lot: the plot is not so foreseeable and the story is well paced. Plus now the next should really be about Call and I hope not about his sister, please Mrs. Enoch, make me happy!

Sexy man in a kilt? What's not to like? I thought the brother was just scum and why Eloise still wanted him is unfathomable to me. Aden was quite the man of action. He and his brothers were mouthwatering. The captain was despicable and the ending was a good one. I was entertained from page one to the very end. So much to like about this story.

This was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed the give and take between the hero and heroine. The heroine's brother though? He was a problem and I don't think he was given the comeuppance he deserved.

"Scot Under the Covers” beginning was definitely touch and go and I was damned near tempted to drop this but the Book Gods above decided to answer my prayers by gracing me the perseverance to claim a few more pages then wa-lah! Matthew true intentions and dealings came to light which help lead and created the phenomenal partnership between Aden and Miranda. I immediately fell in love with their banterful relationship filled with stolen kisses, steamy moments, and badassery of our fine ass highlander. This was perfect swoon worthy historical romance I’ve been looking for a while.

Aden's mom had left their father but before she left she made him sign an agreement that her three boys had to marry before their youngest sister and they had to be English. So here they were. The English always brought an absurd amount of luggage, so they brought Rory, a red deer, as part of a huge amount of luggage. Both Aden and Coll had taken off their shoes to settle a bet. So there they were walking around in Mayfair with a bucket in the street, pitching their shoes at the bucket and being barefoot. The two eldest had not found anything they wanted since they had come down five weeks ago. Their dad had decided to perish from the shock of learning his youngest is engaged to be married.. Or he was afraid of his wife. Miranda Harris was the sister to the man Eloise was going to marry. Aden liked her straight-talking and not speaking on boring subjects as most English girls did.
Matthew, Miranda's brother had gambled which he was not supposed to do and got in so deep that he sold his sister to this awful man. Captain Robert Vale Resemble a bird of prey prominent brow, narrow, thin-lipped mouth, and long straight down angled nose.
There are a lot of twists in this story of a broken family and a mother who has been absent for seventeen years. I really loved the tale and the teasing, laughing and loving. His mother wants her sons to forgive her but they are having a hard time with it and having to marry. Not a good thing. The characters are funny, teasing, kind and eventually loving It does get a little sexy. so it should be for older folks but is still a good read. It is entertaining, scary, and three dominating Highlander's thrown into the mix. I highly recommend this novel.

Miranda dislikes Aden before she has ever set eyes on him and wastes no time letting him when they first meet. Imagine her dismay when she discovers that she needs his help. Imagine his dismay when she is the only woman in England he cannot stop thinking about.

How on earth was this my first book by Suzanne Enoch? All I can do is promise it won't be the last. It is an easy promise to make because I cannot wait to read the other books in this series. I tore through this book, reading even when I could barely keep my eyes open. Miranda and Aden are charming together. I enjoyed the premise and the clever way Aden goes about aiding Miranda when she is basically sold by her brother to cover up his own errors. My utter loathing for her brother and the way he conducts himself made me have a difficult time for the way he never suitably punished, in my opinion.

Book two of the MacTaggert brothers finds the stealthy middle brother Aden at odds end. The three brothers are forced to wed an English bride before their youngest sister or they and all the people under their care will be penniless. Aden fears that he’ll never find an English woman that will love him like his younger brother did, but he soon meets Miranda a proper English lady who has no time for Aden’s charm or gambling ways. Unfortunately Miranda needs Aden’s skills to help her from being forced to marry a vulture. Along the way they both find the good in each other and soon Aden knows he’s found the one. This book has a bit of intrigue, lots of humor and a nice sweet romance. It’s a great historical romance with strong leads and wonderful supporting characters. I can’t wait for Coll’s story. 5 stars. As soon as I saw this book was coming out I was intrigued, but I didn't want to start in book two of the series. I had never read a Suzanne Enoch book before so I through caution to the wind, and downloaded book one. That was Wednesday night. Needless to say, I finished book one on Thursday night....holy cow I was so drawn in, I immediately open book two. Stayed up all night and finished it! WORTH IT!!!!

In book one, It's getting Scot in Here, we were introduced to 3 hard headed, loyal, and loving (each in their own way) highlanders. Niall was the star of book one, but his brothers were not to be outshone. Book two, takes us through Aden, the middle brother's journey to meet his mother Francesca's requirement of he and his brothers to all marry English women before their sister gets married.

Aden is the most secretive of all the brothers. Naill is the peace keeper, Coll the hot headed leader, and then there is the middle child Aden. I didn't quite know what to expect from him after his introduction in book one. He could have gone many ways, but I am darn glad that his path was an interesting one. Aden is the gambler, he has a cunning mind and can read people easily. That is until he meets Matthew (his sister Eloise's betrothed) sister Miranda. You know what happens when you put gasoline on a fire....you get an explosion. That was Aden and Miranda. Aden was the gasoline and Miranda the fire....it just took putting them together to get that explosion. However, there is a dastardly man just waiting upend both Matthew and Miranda's world. Oohhh he is an evil one, it's rare that I truly hate a character but I truly hated Robert Vale. He was despicable, had no redeeming qualities and was just all around evil incarnate. I truly wished all kinds of bad stuff on him throughout the book.

The characters as you can see, drew me in, but it was the story that kept me up all night. I just couldn't go to bed without knowing if everything would get resolved, and what the outcome would be. I am not going to spoil that for anyone, just know this. I loved the plot as much as loved the characters!

I am super stingy when it comes to five stars. I need to have two strong main characters, a good plot, a story that I can reasonably believe to be real, and some steam. This book had it all. All the characters are strong, the plot kept up all night, and the steam was there. Aden is one hot highlander. So, do I recommend...DUH, YES!!! Will I keep reading? Oh, I can't wait to watch Coll fall when he meets his match (I kinda hope it's Jane). What are you waiting for romance lovers? Pick up this series today and fall in love with a highlander!

This was the second book in the series, Wild Wicked Highlanders. It can absolutely be read as a stand alone book. The sons of Angus MacTaggert, Earl of Aldriss, must travel to London where their mother lives and marry English women before their younger sister marries, in order for the Aldriss estate to continue getting the money it needs to survive.
This was Aden MacTaggert's story. The characters, Aden and Miranda are well developed, have great chemistry, and very witty banter. Book is full of romance, banter, fun, and even a villain! It was an enjoyable, quick read that I truly recommend.

This is the story of Aden. Aden and Miranda. These two at first really don't like each other. They fight, bicker, argue, draw sparks off one another. Miranda has prejudged Aden to be a ner-do-well because he gambles. Aden assumes Miranda is just like all the other Sassenach, a flighty, fearherbrained, girl.
But before long, he sees shes smart and intelligent.
She starts to intrigue him
Miranda sees that despite being a gambler, Aden loves and cares for his sister. He dances with the Wallflowers. That starts to endear him to her.
When Miranda gets put into a very dangerous situation by her brother's stupidity, she turns to Aden for help.
Let the adventure begin and the romance develop
The Villian in this story is not evil in a cruel, gory or vulgar way. He is intelligent, deceitful, conniving, cunning, manipulative. He exploits people's weaknesses and then blackmails them to do his bidding.
A character like this is different and I enjoyed finding out to what lengths he would go to.
Aden had to outsmart him, outthink him in order to save Miranda. Of course it hero saves the day.
I love Suzanne Enoch's books because she usually makes me laugh and makes me cry. Now I didnt cry in this book because it was more intellectual than emotional but oh my, did I laugh those last few pages of the book.
One side note..... I hope Eloise dumps Matthew's ass and gets someone who deserves her.
