This was just ok for me. My 8 year old is obsessed with cats but this was one she just wanted to read once.

I received an advanced reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers.

This is a fantastic graphic novel about a little girl called Cat, her dad (who's a single parent) and her cat called Suchi.
This is a colourful and numerous novel that was alot of fun to read with my little one who also found it humorous.
Even though it's about a cat, its not necessarily just for cat lovers, as we love dogs but really enjoyed this.

Cat and Cat is a fun look at the hi-jinks and quirkiness that comes with bringing a feline into the home. Cat parents and fans will "get" these one-page comics that touch on everything from the zoomies to scratching furniture to stealing a warm seat.

'Cat and Cat: Girl Meets Cat' with words and art by Christophe Cazenove is a collection of comic strips about a single dad, his daughter cat, and their cat, Sushi.

Sushi, the cat, likes tearing up the house and getting in the way. He won't eat dad's odd food creations, and he likes going outside sometimes. Cat is rambunctious and has a great imagination. Dad is longsuffering, but really likes his busy house, for the most part.

I had a lot of fun reading this collection. The humor is great and so is the art. I like the fluid motion that Christophe Cazenove uses for these characters. Everything seems to be drawn with a curve. It's bright and colorful and a great collection for all ages.

I received a review copy of this graphic novel from Papercutz and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me to review this graphic novel.

So in love with this book and the funny times of living with a cat! Reminds me a bit of Simon's Cat with the antics of dealing with a misbehaving destructo cat. Fantastic for any cat lover or really anyone that can laugh at a cat.

A pretty standard graphic novel. It looses little in translation. The humor is standard, based on a simple formula of girl, dad, and cat and the difference between their three perspectives. It just doesn't push any boundaries. There's nothing innovative or especially clever here.

ARc Copy...if you own very hyper active cats in the house, you're probably going to love the antics of one kitty that's seem to defy the laws of expectation along side his equally hyper active young mistress. Art style fits the hyper energy.

That was a super entertaining comic ! Like many of you, I'm a cat lover, so a comic called Cat & Cat is bound to call my name haha.

I only realized this now, but this is from the same guy who is behind "The Sisters" series, and I also loved that series as a teen.

Filled with comics that don't follow each other (Yay short stories ! :D), this comic is both cute and funny. I loved reading about the little family moments centered around Sushi the cat, which are soooooooo relatable. I mean, seriously, that cat is a little demon, and he reminded me so much about my own cat !

The topic of this comic makes it readable by everyone in the family, whether you're 7 or 90, and it's a great comic to read to your kid when you want to share a moment with them. Or even to read when you're alone, you'll still find it fun :)

I was sent an eArc of this comic by NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.
I love this so much! Its so cute & hilarious & so true if you have a cat(s). The characters are well done & so likeable & relatable. The story is so cute. I love the art style. I really hope there will be more issues published as I've gotten attached to the characters & I would love to see more of this series. I recommend it for kids & adults & anyone who loves/owns cats.

Hilarious! “Cat and Cat #1” has an addictive frenetic energy that pulses from the character designs, page layouts, wacky cat action, dialogue, text, and even the speech bubbles. This delightful collection of funny slice-of-live comics is enough to convert even the most devoted dog-lover.

This comic had so much potential. I reviewed this with my cat loving son. This comic was incredibly difficult to read. The font was incredibly small and in the digital copy you had to enlarge it so much it distorted the format and made it difficult to navigate. My son didn't find this open form graphic format intuitive as you would with a normal block style comic. He felt that he didn't know where he was supposed to read next, which lead to frustration. While the ideas presented here were really great, thet lacked a natural flow. The storyline was chaotic, moving from one scene to another without an intuitive flow. For example, you see the cat going out side at the end of one page, and the start of the other he's in outer space. My son was extremely frustrated and said "Now he's in space? how? that makes no sense". It took me a moment to realize what this part of the story was about. He did like the cat Sushi and commented that the graphics were great, but he didn't like the way the storyline jumped all over the place. After reviewing myself, I have to agree. The ideas presented were fun and could have had better impact with a consistent flow to the story, especially with better explanations of where each scene lead.

Thank you to Netgalley and Papercutz for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
