A refreshingly complex plotline with realistic and well developed characters including a different type of police chief. Looking forward to reading more in the series.

This was my first book by this author.
Any story involving a kidnapping or harm to a child is a difficult read for me. As a mom, that's one ofmy biggest fears.
This book was a good read though. That part did make it ...heartbreaking, but overlal, it added to a great storyline.
