Wanted to like this book more, but the girls acted more like they were still in high school. Hard to believe they were friends. I ended up skimming through a lot of interaction. Being 60 I found it tiresome and distracting from the actual murder investigation. Would recommend if you were under 30.

Sam owns a coffe shop and she is working fervishly for the grand opening. It was very successful and she hopes the business will prosper. The next morning she finds a body on the floor of her newly opened coffee shop.
This book was very interesting and really fun to read. The characters were adoreable. The mystery was humorous and quite clever. I look forward to reading more in this series.

I started this book, but it was so juvenile. Seems like the women (girls?) characters can only think about hot guys and trivial things. I simply got tired of reading that stuff.

This is a fun cozy mystery that has great characters and a satisfying mystery. I love a book that makes my laugh out loud and this book checks all the boxes for me. I really enjoyed the writing style and look forward to more books in the series.

This was a fun book. I liked the café setting and the murder mystery was really well written! The characters were interesting to follow and the book kept me entertained all the way through.

An apt title for this review day, I need coffee! Enjoyable read that made me laugh, with fun characters, twist and turns including loan-sharking and a Ponzi scheme. Definitely looking forward to more.
