Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers of this collection for giving me the opportunity to review this arc for an honest review in return.

Unfortunately, I was unable to read this arc. The pdf, which I downloaded came up blank, so I was unable to read any of the work provided, which I am disappointed by as I was looking forward to reading this.

I'll be buying the book when it comes out and hopefully, then I can provide my full review onto all the sites that I can.

Sincerely, is a great book with a collection of beautiful and heart fluttering poems that will make you believe in love all over again. That being together with a significant other makes everything more worthwhile and beautiful that when you've found 'the one' you should hold onto them and a pave way for an even more meaningful life together.

The way the author has written his poems as a whole really shows the love poured into words to describe the love and affection he has. Before I read this book, I found out that he wrote this book and proposed as though a token to show his love and the hopeless romantic in me just love this so much. Its personal and words have a way to connect deeper with the readers than anything and I find that achingly beautiful.

The writer also included some poems that link and correlates metaphorically with Arabic words that also give meaning to words describing certain aspects in Islam. I, for one have yet to read this kind of work before and I really love it. I wish more writers out there could write something like this—combining two important aspects into one that can take it to a whole different level.

This book solely focuses on the sincerity of love and the beauty of it. That going through the good and bad together makes everything remarkably easier and better. Those who have forgotten about love or has left it behind, I want you to read this book and believe in it again.

Incredibly relatable and beautifully written. I thoroughly enjoyed every poem in this collection. Very well constructed, and each poem flowed well into the next.

Sincerely by F. S. Yousaf, 160 pages. POETRY
Central Avenue Publishing, 2020. $15.
Language: PG (2 swears, 0 “f”); Mature Content: G; Violence: G
BUYING ADVISORY: HS - OPTIONAL
AUDIENCE APPEAL: AVERAGE
Yousaf bears his soul in prose written for the woman he would ask to marry him. Contained within the covers of this book are several short poems about love and belonging sprinkled with sketches that are amateur but shine with sincerity.
I enjoyed these poems, but I think I liked them more because of the context Yousaf gives his readers in the long dedication at the beginning. As Yousaf expresses his love for the woman he is asking to marry him, I read them as poems about hope -- hope for the cute-and-romantic-but-also-durable kind of love that seems idealistic and impossible to find most of the time.

Thank you for the opportunity to read and review this book of poetry. I enjoyed how short each of the poems were. Sometimes they have a bigger effect that way. The description says it all "Searching for a profound way to propose to his fiancée, F.S. Yousaf reread the letters she had written him. In them he found his proposal, as well as inspiration to write his own prose and poetry. From this inspiration, Sincerely was born. It carries messages of positivity, hope, and most of all, true love." That idea is amazing and very inspiring. I enjoyed this one immensely.

Sincerely, by F.S. Yousaf drew me in immediately with its stunningly beautiful cover. The promise of poetry and prose that was inspired by letters written to Yousaf by his fiance, as he explains in an introductory preface, intrigued me further still. So I was disappointed when, upon turning pages, ready to immerse myself in heartfelt prose, I was met, quite literally, with blank page after blank page. I am now desperate to get my hands on a copy of this most promising book, as my appetite has been well and truly whet.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Central Avenue Books for this ARC. I would welcome a future opportunity to enjoy this collection in its entirety.
