Hannah's Courage is the latest installment in this series. It does not disappoint. The characters are well developed and the story is well written. This is a very good Amish fiction book.

This is the third book in this series and is just as good as the other 2. This one is about Hannah Lapp. She works in a bakery with her friends. Hannah loves Timothy but never lets him know her feelings . Timothy keeps trying with Hannah but she is always to busy. When Charlene comes to Charm things change. Will it be to late for Hannah./ Will Charlene catch his eye? This is a story that has great characters. Lots of action and really keeps you wanting more. I loved the whole series and feel there maybe another book coming. Loved the added recipes at the end also.

This is a well written book that holds your attention. The author made the story come to life with her words. This is a book you can curl up with and enjoy. I look forward to reading more books by this author. Thank you Kensington Books Zebra via NetGalley for the ARC copy of this book. All opinions expressed are my own.

I enjoyed the overall story, however I wasn't a fan of the writing. I didn't connect emotionally to any of the characters, there was much more telling rather than showing & the dialogue felt flat and emotionless: through much of the book I felt like I was listening to drama students reading straight off their scripts for the first time.

Hannah's Courage is about a girl, Hannah, who decides after losing her beau to another girl, to move to another Amish settlement to teach school. She has never lived anywhere but home, so it is a big step for her. She learns that she didn't like it at all, and decides to move home. Her former sweetheart has had a change of mind about the girl he has been seeing, and he tells Hannah he loves her. She of course, already loves him and tells him so. This is a slow moving story, without a lot of excitement, but it is a good story. The kind of book you can sit back and just enjoy. I thought it was well written and enjoyable.

Wonderful book! I would read from this author again. This is my first time that I read her books. Her books were suspenseful and romantic. She gave great details in the book. It a story about two Amish people falling in love and how they come to falling in love. This book kept me intrigued the whole time I read it! I would recommend this to everyone.

Courage to finally say something about her feelings for Timothy, is it too late. Another girl who is not as Amish is making a big play for him. Charlotte takes up quite a bit of the story, in doing this. A nice tender story of love, will it be recognized and returned. The third in the series.

My Thoughts on Hannah's Courage:

This was such a good book.  Very quick read for me.  I sat down with the baby to nurse her and she ended up napping which led me to being able to read the whole book!  She did wake up a few times and it was the longest nap she's probably ever taken but I was very grateful for it!  I always love some good uninterrupted reading time.

Hannah is a cautious girl who doesn't like change.  She likes her life the way it is and though she's been offered opportunities to change before she's too happy with the way things are to move on.

But now the man she's realized she's in love with, the man she's had on a string for quite some time may have decided he's done waiting.  When a new girl moves to town and decides that Timothy is now her man things might get a bit messy.

Instead of fighting though Hannah decides to resign herself to watch from the sidelines.  After all, it's her own fault.  She waited too long.  Even though she was set to tell Timothy how she felt when she hears his family say that he now has a special friend and it's not her she's determined to move on with her life.

Working at the bakery has been her joy and she would hate to give it up, but when opportunity beckons will she finally answer the call?  Will she have the courage to do what's right?  Can she win Timothy back?

Great read and I highly recommend it.  It's a fun Amish fiction romance book with a minor plot that keeps it from being too sickly sweet.  DO know though that you're probably going to want some baked goods after reading!

The third in this series, Hannah finally finds the courage to acknowledge her feelings for Timothy. But has Timothy moved on? A new girl in town, Charlotte is not the typical Amish girl and is hot on the trail to capture Timothy's heart. Another sweet story, but not as deep as the first two. I felt Charlotte's scheme was clear from the beginning and took up too much of the story.

I absolutely loved this story! It was able to get me from the beginning and keep me in it until the end. I like the lesson learned in the book, try something first if your interested and then make your mind up. It was great that she had support from her family and friends when she moved and tried teaching school..
