Dr. Kendra Michaels was blind for the first twenty years of her life before a revolutionary surgical procedure helped her to regain her sight. She has now become a renowned investigator who is known for her razor sharp senses. She now has to use those skills when two staff members have been murdered at a school for the blind where Kendra spent her formative years. The murders are puzzlingly dissimilar: one victim was brutally stabbed, while the other was killed by a bullet to the head.
With the killer (or killers) still on the loose, Kendra must put her life on the line to unravel a terrifying conspiracy. And whenever Kendra's life is threatened you know Adam Lynch is not far behind to put himself between Kendra and any threat.

I absolutely love the Kendra Michael's series and I know I'll love this one, too, but I've decided to wait for the audiobook version because that's what I've done for the other 6 books.
Iris Johansen wrote another enjoyabe book with her son Roy Johansen. This also features kendra Michaels and her proctive, charming and dangerous partner Adam Lynch. Jessie Mercado helps them when they work witth the FBI and Kendra's life long friend, Olivia, suports her emotionally and tries to keep her safe. Kenda excellent insites into behavior and is exremely observant. she was blind for manyyears and developed excellent observaion skills.
Kendra’s sight was restored with a miraculous surgery. The first part of her life was spent without that particular sense, which enhanced all the others. When two staff members of a school she once attended are murdered, she puts her all into finding the culprits. The crimes aren’t similar and there also isn’t a lot of clues, but the storyline is an interesting one as she finds her way to answers that escape everyone else. Iris Johansen never disappoints. Though this is part of a series, it can be read on its own with no preempting from previous books.

Kendra was blind For 20 years before surgery restored her sight. As a result of her sightless years her senses are extremely keen. She has become a valuable asset to law enforcement, Kendra notices things other people miss. When there are 2 murders at a school for the blind Kendra attended, the investigation is very personal to her. There are no obvious motives and few clues to follow. This is the 7th book in this series but could easily be read as a stand alone. It has a good story line with interesting characters. I particularly loved Harley. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy.
Dr. Kendra Michaels, who spent the first twenty years of her life blind before surgery restored her sight, is a highly respected investigator, in part because of the other senses she relied on when she was blind. Nothing escapes her notice. When two staff members at the school for the blind Kendra attended are murdered, she vows to do all she can to solve the crimes. The murders are so different, Kendra is left wondering whether they were even committed by the same person. Johansen has been writing romantic suspense since I was in high school and I still eagerly await her new releases. In an industry flooded with newcomers, Johansen manages to stay fresh and interesting
