Flight Risk brings back several favorite characters from the Hidden Justice series. The plot centers around Savannah Daniels. A series of tragedies strike her family as her ex-husband is accused of unspeakable crimes and Savannah tries to shelter her niece from the fall-out. Reporter Jett Glover broke the story of Savannah’s ex, but Jett works with Savannah to see if there is more to the story than what he reported.
If you love Cara Putman’s Hidden Justice series, Flight Risk lives up to the suspense and heart-felt characters you’ve come to expect. Savannah is a complex character, and her chemistry with Jett wasn’t an immediate love at first sight, which I like. It allows readers to get to know each character while they dodge danger and try to connect several complex mysteries. Definitely put this novel on your wish list or pre-order. Flight Risk definitely delivers on high-adrenaline action and suspense, with emotional elements that give the reader a thrilling yet satisfying read.

Flight Risk is a well written and entertaining suspense. A plot that kept me on the edge of my seat. I highly recommend this book. I received an arc from the publisher and Netgalley and this is my unbiased review.
Flight Risk by Cara C. Putman a well written and engaging thriller. Savannah is an attorney representing some clients embroiled in litigation, when her personal life comes howling down upon her. How far can life push her before she breaks...
Excellent character development realistic emotions and actions make this novel almost novel. Lawyer Savannah is stuck in the middle of some scary situations. Representing clients who may be skirting the law and taking care of her niece (also the daughter of her ex) should be enough. But add in an airplane crash, murders, and human trafficking, and you’ve got the makings of an addictive read. Savannah’s faith helps her through.
“Flight Risk” by Cara Putman was a great read! I have loved every one of Cara Putman’s legal thrillers, and this one is no exception!
This book follows Savannah Daniels and Jett Glover. Savannah has built up her law practice and it is going well. Jett is a thriving journalist. When Jett’s big story hits the press, Savannah and Jett meet and work together to find out what is really the truth. I really enjoyed Savannah and Jett’s characters, and the light romantic tension weaved into their characters.
I love reading good romantic suspense fiction that is clean! This book had some Christian elements in it but it wasn’t preachy. I highly recommend all of Cara Putman’s books. You won’t be disappointed!
I received this book from the publisher through NetGalley for my honest opinion.
Really enjoyed this book by Cara Putnam. I don’t typically read Christian books because some of them seem to be “Hallmark” type- too pat and too easy to solve for the reader. It was suspenseful and had some twists. I really appreciated that the main character talked with God through simple prayer requests but didn’t “beat you over the head” with that. It was surprising to have these thriller themes, as well as scandals, and stuff you don’t typically read in Christian books alongside these true moments of talking to God. I am looking forward to reading more from this author.
Will review on Amazon and Goodreads once book is published.
FLIGHT RISK by CARA PUTMAN is a suspense-filled legal thriller with a good Christian message It is altogether an exciting and enjoyable read and one I can highly recommend.
Savannah Daniels heads up a law firm which is currently dealing with a firm called Mnemosyne who has developed technology which could be an improvement on the black box used on airoplanes. She works with good friends, loves her niece Addy Jo, tries her best with her addicted sister and is extremely clever, but lives quite a lonely life since her divorce fifteen years ago. She has been through a lot and has erected walls in order to guard her heart.
Jett Glover is a journalist who is on a quest for truth. When he was twelve he found his father who had committed suicide after being destroyed by false reporting, and is determined to never publish anything that has not been fully researched.
Add a plane crash, news of human trafficking and several murders, and you have a really good plot in which things are not as they seem!
I was given a free copy of the book by NetGalley from Thomas Nelson. The opinions in this review are completely my own.
