It is so refreshing to find a recipe book omitting sugar, especially when it's added to so many products that don't even need it or tossed into recipes where it doesn't belong. These are innovative, creative, and crazy simple. I bookmarked too many to count, none used difficult to find ingredients, and all were good for busy people. I loved everything about this one, SO helpful!

I was very excited about this book, but sadly, I didn't find much to embrace.

There's no pictures not a deal breaker I have several books that don't have many but none at all is odd. Another issue is much of the instructions for certain recipes are too vague and lack enough information to successfully complete the dish & give no reference points to help clarify the information.

Someone new too cooking would struggle with the recipes.

The 'Apple Cinnamon Muffins' should mention it may need more fluids (as portioned these are brickets that could be used as a handy hockey puck). It took a few tries changing fluid amounts and then after all the effort they aren't even appetizing. I feel like I wasted a lot of time on a hopeless recipe.

Out of the 6 recipes I tried from various sections of the book, I wouldn’t make any of them again. Most of the recipes are not that good. I was disappointed the majority of them need to be overhauled. The few I made couldn't be eaten without modifications.

Since the main value of a cookbook are the recipes, I can't recommend this cookbook.
The recipes are dry bland and some have nothing to do with sugar so they don't even count.

Don't get me wrong I like Turkey but why in a get rid of sugar cravings book is the recipe a turkey sandwich? I just found that a random addition to a lackluster lineup qof recipes in this book. Sadly the last third of the book has no recipes that help reduce sugar. It's a huge disappointment in my opinion.

Another important note: Tthe author's goal is to get rid of added sugars, including artificial sweeteners. However, the author encouraging fruit sugars. This may prove important to any diabetics considering this book. Those who need a true sugar free cookbook (expecting genuinely SUGAR-FREE recipes) may be disappointed that they have to modify or altogether skip many of the recipes. I feel like this is a pretty important aspect to note because in this area the book falls short.

Overall, this book was a failure for me and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone not because some of the recipes cant be fixed but because there just isn't enough solid ones to work with so I can't in all honesty say it's a book I'd use. I received this book from NetGalley for an honest review.
