I think we all want a big brother like Noah, someone who is unconditional always there for us. And what is even better is that there is hope that he too will get his Happily Ever After. Tha is happily ever after comes in the form of Andie, who also need some unconditional love, fun and freedom is perfect. A very happy read with a bit of fun, flirty romance for every reader.
I read this as a stand alone book, but I will definitely go back and find the rest of the series.
I was so excited to finally get the story of the eldest of the West Coast Sinclairs! My heart broke for all the Sinclairs since the passing of their mother, but it was Noah’s story that I have been waiting for.
Noah was only 18 when their mother had passed, the opening scene in this book made my heart ache. The promise he made to her he had kept for so many years that I don’t think he knew he didn’t have to do it any more. Now that all his siblings are grown they see the toll it has taken their eldest brother so they decide to take action. Owen, the youngest, asks his best friend Andie to help Noah learn to relax. Andie is such a wonderful character, she remembers Noah as a child and really looked up to him. She had a rough childhood and she remembers how much Noah had also helped her in times of need. The connection these two had was strong but Andie is keeping secrets that makes the happily ever after that Noah wants a bit difficult. But all is well and the eventual HEA is worth it all.
Enchanted was an awesome read, I loved how Noah knew that they were meant to be and even though Andie was so determined about no strings in the beginning, circumstances made her realize what was important. Another fantastic book by JS Scott!
Thank you Netgalley and Montlake Romance for giving me the opportunity to read this complimentary copy. All opinions are my own.
The continuing saga of the Sinclair's of the West coast. In this storyline we finally get the eldest Sinclair story. Noah has been working hard since he's eighteen years old to keep a roof over himself and his siblings head since their mother passed away and having an absentee father. Fast forward many years later and Noah is still in paternal mode though all of his siblings are grown and most are married and the Sinclair's now have more money than they ever needed due to learning their absentee now dead father other family blessed them with their rightful inheritance of the Sinclair's fortune.
Even after several years of having money Noah still works so hard his siblings are concern he will work himself to death. Enter his youngest sibling Owen who sets up his bestie Andie to go on vacation with Noah to help him learn to have fun again. In the beginning Noah is not too pleased his brother set him up with Andie as his tour guide. As they get to know each other and open up to each other they realize they have more in common with each other. With Scott's books though they are very sexualize there is always an undercurrent of realistic issues and situations that either the hero or heroine have to overcome. Review on goodreads and eventually amazon.
I really enjoyed reading this book. Noah clearly had a tough road ahead of him after his mother passed away and it is clear that although his siblings grew up to be amazing people, he was still locked in the past of taking care of their every need.
I knew that Andie was struggling with something but I was shocked when I learned about her past. What she did with her life to pull past her fears was an awe-inspiring read and I really connected with her.
The way these two characters pushed each other to face their fears and become better people as they navigated the journey to happily ever after while facing the ups and downs was riveting - I could not put the book down.
I'm eagerly awaiting the next book in this series.
This is quite an enjoyable love story. The characters are well defined, realistic, yet entertaining. The author pulls you right in from the beginning. You have to love how the family relationships and friendships flourish throughout the story. The journey to true love is often a hard path to follow, but these two have to really examine their hearts and fight for true love. It’s emotional, endearing, and sprinkled with a little humor. I highly recommend the book and will definitely read additional books by the author.
You do need to suspend disbelief a bit with this spin off series, but if you do that it’s sooooo enjoyable. Two great and really interesting characters and the romance felt right for these two. I really adored her, there was something sweet about how Andie looked after Noah and confronted her demons.
This series is amazing. I have loved every book. This one is amazing! We finally see someone that can get to Noah. Big brother has met his match.
I loved this book. I have read several books from this author and I have never been disappointed. Well written. Great characters. I loved the story line.
J.S. Scott does not disappoint in this fourth installment of The Accidental Billionaires series. Here we have the oldest Sinclair brother, Noah falling in love with his younger brother's best friend Andie. They were both likable characters and I really enjoyed the storyline and their insta love. Adorable!
"Enchanted" (The Accidental Billionaires Book 4) by J.S. Scott is a fantastic read. I loved Noah and Andie's story. This is a wonderful addition to this series, packed with romance, passion, humor, twists and turns, entertaining characters, family, billionaires, and more. I can't wait to see what happens next in the last book in The Accidental Billionaires Series. Highly recommend to all fans of romance, billionaires, and series.
This is such a fantastic and emotional journey that had me hooked from page one. I really felt for Noah, he took on such a big responsibility of caring for his brothers and sisters after his Mom died. All he knew was to work hard. Loved how he changes due to Andie. Didn’t expect to cry so hard. I loved how we didn’t know what happened to her 5 years ago, and that’s why she’s the way she is. Will she let go of her fear? I really loved their happy ever after.
This story of Noah and Andie really touched my heart. Noah, the oldest brother of the California Sinclair family is driven working every waking minute. Andie, the childhood friend on Noah’s youngest brother lives for the day. These two opposites attract big time. But of course, Annie’s reason for her take on life causes issues. Despite being a bit of a tearjerker, this was a truly inspirational story of opposites attracting and overcoming issues. Andie and Noah are a wonderful couple that I’d like to know!
I have loved everything that J.S. Scott has written to date, and this book did not disappoint. Noah Sinclair has been the patriarch of the family since they lost their only parent when he was in high school. He became the backbone to his family, giving up everything to ensure his siblings had everything they ever needed growing up. Even after coming into a great sum of money, Noah hasn’t been able to give up his sense of duty, and continues to work harder than ever, forgetting that his siblings are now grown adults who are doing well for themselves.
Andie, best friends with Owen, Noah’s younger brother, has come back to town and asked by Owen to go on a trip with Noah to hopefully, remind him that he is no longer responsible for his siblings, and it’s time for him to find his own interests instead of just working.
The chemistry that Ms. Scott is able to write makes you feel as if you know these characters, and can’t help but root them on in their quest. Although Andie’s past comes back to haunt her, Noah can’t take no for an answer, once he is told why they can’t be together. Another great read….I’m already itching for the next book in the series!
Living and loving to the full:
This book provided a good escape whilst still dealing with real issues that we can relate to. Poor Noah has shut himself off and has worked to the bone to provide for his family and now he doesn't know how to step back. Thankfully Andie is able to show him how to let go and to live a life of balance. However Andie has had her own past trauma and initially shuts Noah out but thankfully they are able to realize they both deserve to be together. An inspiring message from the book is that we all ought to grab onto life and pursue our dreams with passion and abandon.
This was book 4 and whilst I hadn't read the previous books, I was able to follow along quite well and although it is probably preferable to read them in order, I believe it can still be read as a standalone. It was an enjoyable read although I did find it rather wordy at times with inner dialogue rehashing the same things over again. Also I found the constant writing of words in italics for added emphasis annoying.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. All opinions expressed are solely my own.
Owen and Andie we're put on a vacation together in order to show Owen that there was more to life than working all the time and avoiding all forms of excitement and family ties. Andie's on the go personality and live for now attitude eventually washed off onto Owen and he began to understand what life was truly about. I was so excited to see them get together and learn why Andie wanted to live the way she did and embrace the you only live once attitude. Another great story when it comes to my favorite billionaires.
I received an ARC from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing this book
I never read the first three, but Enchanted does act like a stand alone novel. Here we have Noah, the oldest brother of this Sinclair brood of siblings. He's faced with having to raise his siblings when he was 18, so he put his head down and got to work making sure his siblings were taken care of. Even after they become "accidental billionaires", he's still a workaholic that barely eats. His sisters gift him a vacation for Christmas, and they finally push him to go. Owen, his brother, sends his best friend since childhood, Andie, to be Noah's fun guide and all but force him to relax. Two weeks in Cancun, what could happen?
This was a cute little read that took me just a few hours. I didn't really care for the insta-love/lust thing between them, and I wish there had been more of a slow burn with their relationship. How do you want to marry someone when you barely know them. They do finally slow down and go for the whole conventional courtship with dates and learning about each other before there's any marriage. But Noah felt a little...immature when it came to relationships. He never had a serious one, so he goes from 0 to 100 without actually thinking things through. There is no "I love you" after two weeks, so that was the book's saving grace. I did enjoy Andie as a character. She was fun and a foodie, and I appreciate that Scott wrote about a woman who didn't shy away from food. Home girl liked what she liked and didn't give a damn what anyone thought. Even if she did have some moments where she thought her ass was too big, but what woman doesn't think that at some point? Regardless, this wasn't a hang up for her.
All in all, I enjoyed it. I may check out the other books in this series. I am definitely interested in Owen's story with Layla so I may have to read that one as well.
Another fantastic installment of the Sinclair’s. This is a billionaire story about Noah the oldest brother of the West Coast Sinclair’s. They grew up poor because their father left them and their mother without resources. When Noah’s mom dies and leaves him in charge of his brothers and sisters at the age of 18. Due to the promise Noah made to his mom, he has kept his head down and worked hard and his siblings have survived.
Now they are all grown and several of them have gotten married and Noah has continued to work hard. His family gives him a vacation trip as a gift in hopes of getting him to slow down and enjoy life. His youngest brother Owen gets his friend Andie a travel blogger to go with him in hopes she might be able to keep him from working all the time.
Noah is surprised to find out that Andie is a girl and Owens long time best friend Adrianna. Will Andie be able to keep Noah from working all week? Will Noah be able to see her as the beautiful woman she is instead of his youngest brothers best friend? Can Noah be able to lift his head up and begin to live his life?
I really enjoyed this steamy story. Thank you to Netgalley for the complimentary copy. Thoughts and opinions are my own.
I don’t think that there’s a book that Ms Scott has written that I haven’t enjoyed. This was no exception. Noah and Andie balanced each other, one being too disciplined and the other living for the moment. Both had valid reasons for the way they were living even though the reasons didn’t apply anymore. What started as a favor for a longtime friend became something much more.
This series is fabulous. I was so glad to read Noah's story. I was also happy when he was forced on vacation with an old family friend and forced to look up and smell the flowers. She was strong and sweet and just what Noah needed.
Noah and Andie are indeed Enchanting. Noah has shouldered responsibility for his siblings for many years and doesn't really know how to let go and live live. Andie has battle illness for many years and has been in remission for 5 years. Andie is afraid to give her heart. Andie take it as a challenge to show Noah how to have fun. Of course they must return to the real world. Not to worry, they overcome.
This is another great love story. I highly recommend the book. Truly wonderful story.
