WOW!!! This was my first book ever by this author and it most definitely will not be my last! I kind of feel like I got a two for one with this one because we were able to see glimpses of the love story between Keaton and her first love as well as Keaton and her forever love! This book sucked me right in and I was not able to put it down until I finished. I read this book and one day because I just couldn’t put it down. The writing was excellent and I quickly felt invested in both of the main characters. I can’t wait to read more books by this author!

I really enjoyed reading about Julian. This is the follow up to Stealing Her and to really appreciate this one, you do need to read the first book. In the first book we get a little about Julian and let’s face it, most of it was bad! This book we get to know him and realise what a good man he is post the coma and maybe not so bad before. Keaton is going through grief and her previous love story had been lived in public. She is America’s sweetheart, Julian is definitely not! They are well suited when they get to know each other, she is reticent about being seen in public with him - what would the fans say? You feel Julian’s hurt about this as he fights to be good enough for her - when he is already good enough, thankfully there is a HEA and a rather satisfying epilogue.

I love a good romance novel, especially a YA one where I don't have to deal with the smut. I enjoyed this book and this series way more than I had anticipated. It is cheesy and predictable but sometimes you need books just like that!
I love Julien. I just love Julien. I really can't wait for the next book.

I was waiting for the second book in this series because I needed to know Julian’s story from the moment we met him in the first book.
Many times, life gives you opportunities to change and he had a big change coming his way in the first book. Forced closed proximity is a favourite plot and the author has done a great job in showing another face of these characters and how their lives changes in that unfortunate encounters.
A story about a second chance at life and love that really matters.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher and Netgalley. I have absolutely adored every book by Rachel I have read. She is a fabulous storyteller, but this book just wasn’t for me. I don’t know what it was but I just couldn’t connect with either character. I think the set up for the story was great. Maybe it was that I just don’t get into super sad stories? I don’t know but I found myself dragging and struggling to finish. I will still continue to read everything she writes though, because even though this story was not for me, all of the others were.

I was looking forward to Julian’s story and I hate to say that I was very disappointed in it. It was just so depressing to me. I was like is this guy ever going to find his happy? Then you pair him with Keaton and her situation and I just had to stop and take a breather. It was just all too sad and emotionally draining. By the time they did find their happy, I was over it.

This book was exactly what you would expect: a cheesy love story that was very predictable in every way. So what I'm trying to say is...I LOVED IT. I couldn't put it down and I fell in love with both Keaton and Julian. It was amazing and I felt super attached to their stories of loss and love.

Again a kick butt book by rachel van dyken i must admit this book caused me to cry my bloody eyes out and i feel that wasnt fair and yet i loved every single tear that happened. this book really brought out all my emotions and i will never stop reading this author because she can envoke every emotion love , happiness, saddness and its all so amazing. Stop what you are doing and read this epic thing.

We first meet Julian in Stealing Her… his world has literally been flipped upside down. Finding Him is Julian’s journey through healing and finding love again.. especially since he thinks he doesn’t deserve it. His feisty Heroine also has her own demons to work through, and who else is better to help her heal than Julian? Rachel Van Dyken is a fabulous author who can always create characters that feel real and relatable. You will want to read Stealing Her first to get the full picture of these characters and what went down and why Julian is the way he is. I enjoyed this story immensely and fully recommend it. Five stars.

Finding Him is the second book in the Covet series but the first Rachel Van Dyken book I have read. I loved it! I easily understood the plotline without reading the first book but I plan to read the first book now. It's not your typical boy meets girl dramatic romance. There are several lessons about love, loss, and forgiveness. If you like a few tears with your HEA check it out!

The Quick Cut: A guy and girl find themselves unexpectedly trapped together at a cabin. Emotions and drama ensues in their time together.

Sometimes, life moves on even when we don't anticipate it to. When that happens, it leaves you with an unfortunate choice: leave what you had behind to start over or desperately try to get it all back. For Julian, that is the choice after he wakes up for a coma.
Julian woke up to a very different world than he left behind. Waking up from his coma, he finds that his estranged twin brother has taken his spot at the company he owned, along with the fiance he left behind. In the wake of all this, he heads to his family's secluded cabin in Vermont to spend time alone and readjust. Life has other plans though when he arrives to see a renter there: social media star Keaton. Will their collective pain give them a chance to heal together or fall apart?
This is one of those quick romance reads for sure, with two lead characters who end up healing one another. Because they come from different circles and lifestyles, they provide perspective one another needs to move forward with their lives.
That being said, I really don't think this should be categorized as young adult. Considering the content and life stages these two are at, it would make far more sense to call this new adult. I get that a lot of adults read YA (I am one of them), but it's misleading to label it YA when the content doesn't match that.
A tale of two people healing together.
My rating: 3 out of 5

Awesome story! I was so excited to come home each day to finish reading this. It was so easy to fall in love with both Keaton and Noah’s love story and also Keaton and Julian’s love story.
I really didn’t want this book to end and enjoyed every page. This author has quickly become one of my favorites. Can’t wait to read more from her.
Thanks NetGalley for the arc in exchange for my honest opinion.

WOW!!! This book deals with personal lost between 2 characters and 2 different circumstances. This deals with trying to move on and getting on with life. Keaton Westbrook is a social media superstar who gets stranded with a billionaire in a wintery day in a cabin. The last thing these two wanted to do was have to be stranded together complete strangers.
I loved this book. A guilty pleasure that I can pick up and read in one sitting. Rachel VanDyken's stories grasping me from the beginning and I just dont want to put down until I get to the end. Such a sad but great read.

A snowed-in, one-night stand romance!
I enjoyed Stealing Her a lot, and really wanted Julian to have his HEA as well.
Julian is understandably angry and feeling lost after accomplishing his goal of removing his father from power. On top of that, he's reeling from the loss of his mother. A trip to their family cabin is in order. But there's one problem - the cabin has been rented out to Keaton Westbrook - a woman who's romance with a terminal cancer patient dominated the headlines. Keaton is trying to fulfill Noah's dying wish that Keaton write their story. Julian turns out to be the strength that Keaton needs.
I love, love, loved this book! Keaton's struggles with public opinion and their need to immortalize her and Noah's love story was heartbreaking. Especially when paired with Julian's feeling of never being someone's priority. His notes in the margin of Keaton's book just melted my heart. Definitely one of my all time favorites by RVD!

As usual Rachel Van Dyken pulled me in quickly and didn't let go until the end of the book. It was an emotional ride with both Keaton and Julian. They each had traumatic events in their lives that they were dealing with and they helped each other pull themselves out of it. Book had some humor, tears, and steamy parts with a great ending.

This book was everything! Their love was everything! I devoured every second of the story. In all honesty I was very emotional, I've been sad, I have cried, I have laughed and I cheered for them. It was the perfect story for Julian and Keaton, the ending they deserved. I couldn't wish better outcome for them.
They met, although somewhat inconveniently, each grieving their personal loss. What they haven't expected was to find themselves snowed in and feel attracted to one another.
Keaton was supposed to write book about the loss of her first love but she couldn't .....due to her broken heart and due to frost bite. When Julian offered his typing skills she was finally able to tell her story to slowly let go.
Unknowing, though their past entwined and they both could go through the grieve together while working chapter after chapter. He's changed, he promised to become the one person who would made his late mother proud. She's tried to avoid the influence of social media but it was hard to read the negative comments. One step forward, two steps back.
What they haven't meant was to fall in love or were they destined for it to happen?
There are no other words except I immediately fell in love with both characters and absolutely adored the whole story.

If you read Stealing Her, then you know exactly who Julian is! Although in Book 1 he wasn’t easy to like, we know there was a whole lot more going on and he wasn’t completely heartless and ruthless. I definitely wanted to see Julian get his happy ending, so I jumped into this book as soon as possible! While reading Stealing Her isn’t necessary to enjoy Finding Him, I highly recommend it, not just because it gives you more insight, but because it’s freaking amazing!
Keaton and Julian find themselves in a rather awkward situation when a snowstorm has them stranded together when they both wanted to be alone. This was made worse by the fact that they’re both sad and grieving, but also because Julian can’t seem to stop being an a$$hole! They initially hate each other, but soon discover some common ground and a sizzling chemistry. Suddenly being together, sharing their pain seems so much better than being alone. As much as they’d love to stay in the bubble they found themselves in, the outside world calls and it seemed nothing would be the same. The need they discover they have for each other...to heal, to be calm, to move forward, overrides everything. However, fear of letting go of the past, of guilt and public personas stands in their way of happiness.
Julian ended up being the most swoon worthy man imaginable and if someone had told me before starting this book that my heart would break for Julian, I don’t think I would’ve believed them! RVD stole my breath with her beautiful words. This is such an emotional and moving story of love and healing.

A witty book that has made me laugh, cringe and cry. The two main characters of Keaton & Julian were great together. Kind of wanted the hate the brother and his fiancé after what they have done to Julian, but he forgives them so I guess we have to too. It was a great humorous read that also had me in tears in some parts. I really liked the writing style, it was my first introduction to this author. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to read this book.

Julian and Keaton are beautiful! Julian and Keaton are trying to get away and end up at the cabin together. Julian is running after his coma and his mother’s death. His brother Bridge has his ex fiancée and she is pregnant with Bridges’s baby. Keaton is mourning her first love’s death. Cancer took him too soon. They were America’s sweethearts. Can Julian find a place in Keaton’s heart? Will the nation let her move on? Julian is truly the book boyfriend of all book boyfriends—super swoony! This book has all the feels! 5 stars

Finding Him is the second book in Rachel Van Dyken's Covet series and is the first book I've read by her. It's the story of Julian and Keaton and the struggle to accept a relationship with each other. Julian is a wealthy bachelor who recently woke up from a month long coma to find that his fiancée has fallen in love with his twin brother, on top of that he is also still dealing with his mother's death. He decides with some pressure from his brother to retreat to his families cabin where he finds Keaton already staying there much to his anger. Keaton is a media figure who lost her first love a year ago to cancer and is escaping to the cabin to write a story about their love. Both of them trying to escape but they find each other. A beautiful romance novel that I enjoyed from start to finish.
