Finding Him by Rachel Van Dyken a five-star read that you will find amazing. This is the second novel in the Covet series, as I would definitely recommend reading them in order to get the most out of them, and I have to admit I loved this one so much harder than the first. This is filled with lose and drama, and the author deals so well with everything helping you to understand facing loss and moving on, the loss of an old life and the beginning of a new one, loss of relationships and moving on, building new relationships and not just with a significant other, building friendships as well. This is a great story and a series that you can’t miss.

I have found an amazing new book that brought me to an all time low 36% of the way in. yep, I was ugly crying 36% in..... I'm not sure what 2020 has brought us but so far this year I have ugly cried through three books. Did authors go to a conference last year for sadists or something?

I did not read the first in this series but the book does a great job of explaining book one.... Bridge stole Julian's girl while he was in a coma. All the feels in this amazing story, the author is a crafted storyteller.

What did I like? The story itself read just like a movie. I would expect the same sequence and imagery if Id been watching it. I bet this would make a great Hallmark show. The story itself was so real to me that 36% in I embarrassed myself and had an ugly cry. Keaton was an amazing person, and I fell in love with her myself by the time I was done!

Would I buy this book? Yes, buy yourself a paperback copy and keep it. This story was so good. If you haven't read book one then grab it. The author does such a good job telling the stories that they feel like old friends.

Thoughts for the author? Did you attend a sadist class with fellow authors? This book brought so many feels. I had a book hangover for two days. I'm supposed to read 600 books this year and you didn't help. I loved it though. Five huge hung the moon stars.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

After the first book, I was looking forward to see Julian's story. He has come out of his coma to find that his fiance is married to his twin brother and that brother is also running his company better than he had. While Julian knows that he has made some mistakes, it is easier to blame everything on his brother!

Both Julian and Keaton are grieving when they meet by accident at the cabin. Keaton's story is even sadder than Julian's as her fiance died of cancer and she is still not getting past his death and agreed to write their story in a book.

Parts of the book were so sad when she remembers past events with Noah for the book.. As they grow closer, they start to heal a bit but you could see that Keaton cared a bit too much about what her followers thought about her life. I loved when Julian finally confronted her about this and she realized how badly she had hurt him.

While Julian could be annoying, he really wasn't as bad since he woke from the coma. He seemed to have "woke up" and acknowledged the mistakes he had made and was learning from them.

I loved the ending when the two couples were together and were all happy with their lives!

Wow! Rachel Van Dyken sure has a way with words. This was the first book I’d read by the author and it definitely won’t be the last. I was hooked from the minute Julian entered the cabin and I couldn’t put the book down until I had finished it! I absolutely loved this story and how heartwarming it was, the characters were loveable and I can’t wait to read more from this author!!

I hadn’t read a Rachel Van Dyken book in awhile prior to Finding Him. Although I haven’t read the first book in the Covet series, I enjoyed this one enough that I would go back and read the first book. Keaton and Julian were both really likable characters. I especially liked Julian and was rooting for him as a reformed playboy/jerk. Finding Him is about two people grieving the loss of loved ones who find themselves snowed in in a remote cabin together. An unlikely bond forms while they are stuck in the cabin depending on each other and they find themselves at peace in a way they haven’t been in a long time. This was about finding both themselves again and each other while learning to move on with their lives. I didn’t pull an all nighter for this one and there were no crazy twists or surprises but it was a good read.

Julian Tennyson's, millionaire with a ruthless reputation, life fell apart while he was in a coma. Waking up to find out his estranged twin brother replaced him in every way that mattered and coping with the loss of his mom the only place he wants to be is his family's secluded cabin. Unfortunately for him, there's an unexpected guest, Keaton Westbrook. Keaton, america's sweetheart, and social media influencer has one month to write her tragic love story while mourning the death of her boyfriend, but the words just won't come. Needing time and space to think she rents a cabin in the woods to escape the media. Now they're stranded together, and an unlikely bond forms, but what happens when they have to leave safety and seclusion?

I've been waiting for this book since I read an ARC of Stealing Her 6 months ago, and I absolutely wasn't disappointed. It's such a rollercoaster, I found myself loving and mourning Noah, enjoying the excerpts from Keaton's book, no matter how heartbreaking they were. I felt for her when she was afraid to move on because of other people's opinions but ultimately realized that she needed to be happy. Equally heartbreaking was Julian, even though he was a pretty terrible person before his coma, you could see the changes he made, how he wanted to be a better person but still struggled with his demons. This is a beautiful angsty book, a punch in the heart with moments of humor brought mostly by Noah. Definitely recommend.

After reading Stealing Her, I was positive nothing could top Bridge and Isobel’s story (which was a top 2019 read for me) but Author Rachel Van Dyken proved me wrong with Julian and Keaton’s epic journey of finding love after loss.

You do not need to read book one to read this book; however, to truly understand Julian and the obstacles he has faced, its best to read Stealing Her which is the story of Julian’s fiancé Isobel (Izzy) and his identical twin brother Bridge.

Julian has woken from a coma only to find that his entire world is not like it was before. The woman he was set to marry is now married to his brother and pregnant with a child. His mother finally lost her battle against gastroenteritis and Julian feels lost for the first time in his life. He’s always followed in his fathers footsteps, eager to please and gain his respect. The world sees him as playboy, a rich tycoon who can’t even keep his brother from stealing the woman he loves. The media is not a fan and apparently the people he loves can’t tolerate him either. Julian is starting to believe his presence on this earth is not even wanted and the world would be a better place without one more Tennyson in it. He may have laid in that hospital bed, lost and stuck in time, but the world around him kept moving on without him and he’s realizing that’s a tough pill to swallow.

Now that Julian has taken over Tennyson Financial, the board and Bridge think it’s time he take a mental health break. A little time away at their family cabin to grieve and regain his focus is just what he plans to do.

Only when Julian arrives to the one place he thought he’d find solace, he’s sorely mistaken when a beautiful woman bearing a knife is ready to take him down for intruding in his own home.

Keaton Westbrook is considered Hollywood royalty and is searching for privacy from the media and time to write her story that she will share with the world once and for all. What she doesn’t expect during her mini vacation of healing is to have a sexy as sin man stumbling into her cabin door barking orders at her to leave after she dropped a pretty penny to rent the place out.

Stuck in the confines of the cabin with no power and a blizzard of snow sticking to the ground, Julian and Keaton embark on one of the best combinations of enemies to lovers and love after loss romances I’ve ever read.

Keaton has suffered losing her first love to cancer with his last dying wish that she write their story. But Keaton ends up with a bad case of frostbite on her hands and the inability to type so with nothing else to do and needing a place to focus his mind, Julian offers to type it for her while she tells it one chapter at a time.

As the two grow closer thorough their shared connection of grieving, and find an undeniable comfort in each other, the cold hard reality begins to set in. Social media fans become a barrier and life just doesn’t seem to want to let them find their happiness in each other.

This was a beautiful story and Julian was an amazing man. He knew what he wanted and didn’t hold back. His feelings were raw and refreshing and I was completely smitten with this former playboy.

Rachel Van Dyken is a master story teller and this book definitely started my new year with a bang. Beautiful writing, fantastic plot, and characters that had such an exceptionally compelling connection it will hit you right in the heart.

Highly recommend!!

So let me just start out by saying I did not know this was a second book of a series when I requested for it (I know how did I miss that before? I don't even know). When I got approved of this book I jumped on my kindle and read the first book of the series (okay like super adorable book, right?!).

This book was so romantic, funny, and HELLA steamy! I love when the main characters in books can have funny banter with each other (honestly makes the book 100 times better), and this books has plenty of that! This book can be read as a standalone, which I feel like is amazing if a possible reader stumble across this book and wants to read it, but I would suggest you read BOTH books in the series because its super cute. Will there be another book in the series... because I so wouldn't mind one! This authors writing really captivated me and pulled me into the story so much so I never wanted to put the book down!

This is a story that soooo worth the read and I feel like all my friends and followers would LOVE! I absolutely will recommend this book series to everyone I can! Time to search the other books by Rachel Van Dyken! <3

I loved this story. For being rich, these characters are completely relatable. Everything about Julian made me want to cry and hug him. I haven't read the format of this series, didn't realize there was one. Don't think I want to read it either, don't want to see the other side to his character.

I finished this book in under 4hrs. I could not put it down, it was that good. I actually read this book first with out even realizing it was book 2 in the series. Which i had no problem with, didn't even notice. Now im off to read book 1

Rachel Van Dyken has done it again. Not only did I fall in love with these characters but I stayed up all night reading this book.
First let's talk about the big elephant in the room, Julian. After reading the first book in this series, I didn't think I would love Julian. I figured I might like him because of character growth but I loved him. I think seeing his perspective and the way he thinks just really connected us to him. The grief of losing his mother and fiancee in a short amount of time was done beautifully because I cried. From the first book we know the relationship Bridge and Julian have with their father, but this book just showed how much they love their mother and the heartbreak that Julian is going through losing her.
Now Keaton, my beautiful knife skilled goddess. From the beginning, we instantly connect and love Keaton. Her grief over losing Noah really connects you to her and makes you want to cry because I did. Her witty banter and her comebacks had me rolling. At the end, she made me want to take this book and smack her on the back of her head. I get that losing Noah was big but throughout this entire story she was remembering him saying he wanted her to be happy. So Dear Keaton, BE HAPPY.
There was only thing that I didn't like and that was Keaton and Noah's love story in the chapters. Once Noah died, Keaton was offered a book deal to write about their story. When Julian and Keaton got stuck in the cabin, they started writing the book together. Honestly, I kind of didn't care about Keaton and Noah's love story. I get that it's supposed to connect you to Keaton and her grief but when I was reading it, I just skimmed those sections. Which is bad and should be illegal. However, this is a personal thing so I don't recommend it. I usually don't read the moments when the main character is remembering someone who died because it either makes me bored and want to put the book down and do something else or takes me out of the story.
But in the end, I still loved this book. The witty banter between Julian and Keaton will have you dying of laughter. The grief and pain they go through will make you cry. But most importantly, reading them save each other will make you love this book and them.

I’m so happy to have received an ARC from netgalley for this book! I loved the first one and this one did not let me down. I loved Julian’s story! In fact, I think this was better than the first novel.

My heart can’t take just how beautiful this story is! I knew getting Julian’s story was going to be emotional but wow! I couldn’t picture a better person to help Julian through his pain than Keaton! They were both broken and their jagged edges fit perfectly together but sometimes taking another leap of faith is too scary to attempt!

Julian for me was someone I knew was more than what he showed and this story just justified my reasoning! Is a jerk; yes, is he broody; duh but he’s also a loving caring soul who found himself stuck somewhere he didn’t want to be and he had to find a way to survive so he started becoming what his father always wanted! When he finally gets his freedom from his dads control he finds himself more lost than before! Trying to find solace at their family cabin provides Julian with more peace than he could’ve ever imagined!

Keaton definitely has some baggage and as she’s trying to piece her life together she finds that just because something ends doesn’t mean it’s done for good! I loved Keatons bravery, her strength and her passion! She was just what Julian needed but it’s up to Keaton to decide if she deserves him!

This story was simply AMAZING! I loved their journey and how much healing takes place in this story! This book caused tears, laughed but made my heart so joyful in the end!

This is the second book in the series Covet and I enjoyed this as much as the first one, Stealing him.

When Julian wakes up from his month long coma, it's like a rebirth. He's not the same as he was before the accident. Apparently his life isn't that either with his twin brother, Bridge, now in love with Julians fiancée Izzy and the feelings are mutual.

Julian and Bridges mom has also just died and Julian is grieving a lot and needs to be alone for a while. He goes to their cabin in Vermont but someone forgot to inform the renter that the cabin wasn't available for rent right now... So Keaton and Julian has to share the cabin because there's a blizzard coming in. Keaton has her own share or grief and rented the cabin to find solitude and try to write a book. As you may guess things get a bit complicated!

📚

Some parts of the novel is about heartbreak and that was for me a little hard to read about, which means the author did a great job! It was also funny and romantic. ❤️

I loved book 1 in the Covet series so much, and because I wasn’t particularly fond of Julian in the first book I wasn’t expecting to like Julian’s story nearly as much. How wrong I was! I think I loved Finding Him more, if that’s possible. I loved that Julian disappeared to his family’s cabin to lick his wounds, and ended up stranded during a blizzard with Keaton, an uninvited guest. I loved the story, I loved that they were both grieving and used each other to heal. I loved all the coincidences, I loved their banter (some creatively funny moments), I loved their honesty with each other, and I loved that the majority of the story was just them, cocooned together, healing together and sharing their experiences. The story (which, by the way, can be read as a stand-alone) was at times heart wrenching, I admit I cried a few tears, but at the same time it was uplifting. I didn’t want it to end. I was addicted. It’s a long time since I’ve pulled an all nighter reading, but I did for Julian, and now I’m left wondering, “what next”? I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.

This book was a good read! It cleared up everything from the first book but I still think it's a standalone! It was very sad at times had some steam to it and was very well written! I definitely recommend reading this book but it wasn't my top favorite of hers! I would definitely still read more from this series! I did enjoy reading the first book and this one! Thank you Netgalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!

I never read the first book in the Covet series but I absolutely loved this one. I will definitely be purchasing the first book and I truly hope I enjoy it as much as I did this one. This story was sweet, steamy, romantic, funny, heartfelt and so much more. Keaton and Julian's back and forth banter was entertaining and I enjoyed a couple of good laughs at their antics. It took a minute for me to warm up to the idea of Bridge and Izzy because of what they did but eventually I did and I enjoyed them a lot. One of the hardest things about losing a loved one is being able to move on, and with the feeling as if the whole world is judging you it makes it even harder. This was a story of two people grieving, a chance meeting and a second chance at love. It's a story that's definitely worth reading and one I'll be recommending to family and friends.

I thought it would be hard to love Julian, but he made it easy. I really empathized with him coming out of his coma and all he went through. Keaton, I wanted to slap a couple of times, mostly worrying too much about what others thought, but she was exactly what Julian needed. This duet was very well thought out and was exactly what I was looking for.
