Due to a glitch with the book file, I was unable to read this book. I regret that I am unable to give a proper review.
I was surprised when this book reappeared on my NetGalley feed after eight years. This book is as relevant today as is was when it came out. At the time, I was a librarian at a racially diverse urban high school and many of my students were bi- or multiracial. The book is full of poetry, essays, and artwork describing what it is like to be multiracial. The students featured in this book discuss dating, friendship, and discrimination in a world that wants to put them in an unchanging category. I recommend this book for all secondary libraries. It has stood the test of time and would be an excellent addition to a school library collection.
