Emily B. Martin is my new favorite author! This was the first of her books that I'd read, but it won't be the last. I loved her world building, character development, and the adventure and intrigue...the story line was intense and even had a completely-caught-me-off-guard surprise ending! I'm not easy to surprise either. I'm hoping she will write more books in this series or maybe something totally new and equally enthralling.
