Cornell, Delia and Mason break out of a prison filled with convicts and the living dead. They escape to the Everglades and hope to avoid the dead. However, they soon find that the living are just as scary and bad as the dead. I love zombie stories and this one is very interesting and fun to read. It doesn't bring anything new to the zombie genre but it is still enjoyable.
i really enjoyed reading this book, the characters were great and I really liked the way they used Zombies in a unique way. I will look forward to more in this series and from the author.
For me, The Dead In Their Masses was an okay read with zombies, guts and gore. There's plenty of action and it's fast paced, but as I didn't read the other book(s) in the series, I missed out on a lot of the backstory. It has a lot of potential though, especially for zombie and horror fans.
I can't read the book because it isn't readable on any device that I own. I do have apps on my Android and also on my Kindle app or computer can read Kindle files and also the Kindle app can, but in the middle of reading it appeared a malfunction and it displayed me an error. It didn't let me finish reading the book.
Amazing, creeping, crawling fun; for lovers of books in the style of Joe Hill or Grady Hendrix this is a fun thrill ride from beginning to end. If you like quick-moving horror reads, James Chambers is the author for you!
Yes, there are zombies. Yes, they have eyes growing all over them. Yes, there is blood and gore. Do we know why this is happening? No, I didn't realize this was part of a series until I got to the Afterward.. As much as I love me some zombies, I need more. I feel like I would have loved this more if I had read the previous book (s?) and knew the background. What's with the eyes growing everywhere??
