Unfortunately, found this to be very confusing and full of lingo and jargon and at times, it did feel like an alien language, too. I might not have been the target audience in case one needed to know all that jargon to make sense of the book and its principles, but it just felt like too much being thrown at the reader. A lot of the strategies also felt 'old' and 'dated' and pretty much wondering how all of this applies now in the post-pandemic world, to be honest
Growth hacking is such a widely misunderstood concept – but no longer.
This excellent book has everything you need to know about how to scale your business through proven processes, no matter how small or large your business by building your growth skillset, mindset and toolkit.
I have already taken copious notes and particularly enjoyed:
*The 5-Step Framework for Growth Hacking Success.
*Low to leverage content marketing- to the max!
*How to start and scale your online magazine. The same principles could be applied to YouTube Channel, podcase or other online content.
*An excellent chapter on how to grow an audience on Instagram, including how to use Instagram analytics to track the performance of your posts.
*Growing businesses in unusual niche markets – from food business through to the music industry. The same tools and techniques could be adapted to many creative industries by solopreneurs.
Using the Newsjacking method to piggyback onto current news items and events to build an authority brand and attract new leads and followers to your work.
Highly recommended.
