I absolutely loved this book -- it would make such an excellent gift, coffee table book (one that people would definitely pick up and read!) and recipe book for your kitchen. I loved the history, explanations - I learned so much - about tequila, the various types and flavor profiles - along with details about how they are used. I cannot WAIT to try some of these drink and taco recipes. I will probably end up buying a hard copy to have/mark up!

Coming back from Mexico City for the new year, there is no better book to get approved for an ARC!

We're actually having a tacos and tequila get together with friends this weekend, so I've made some recipes in advance to try them and see if we want to make them for this weekend!

Since my husband and I are Al Pastor obsessed, we made the al pastor tacos with zesty crema and roasted pineapple. (By we, I mean my husband...) Anyways, it was so delicious!!!

We also made the Horny Juanita - a yummy raspberry margarita - and I'm obsessed.

I can't wait to further explore the recipes in this book.

As for the layout and pictures, it is beautiful! I absolutely love the ~vibe~ of the book and the layout is so picture perfect. The pictures make you want to make/eat everything. The recipes are easy to follow as well!

Highly recommend!!

What I love about tacos is the simplicity. The ingredients are always fresh and readily available. Unfortunately, the same can not be said about these recipes. Too many obscure ingredients and steps to these recipes so I’m likely to not make any of them. However, this book was incredibly interesting. If you want to know more about tequila, tacos, or the cuisine in general, then this is a great book to read. It’s put together in an interesting way, highlighting different restaurants and their recipes by region. While they all sounded delicious, these are not recipes for the everyday chef. Thank you to the publisher for the advance reader in exchange for my honest review.
