'The Dyslexia, ADHD, and DCD-Friendly Study Skills Guide' by Ann-Marie McNicholas offers practical strategies for students with learning differences. It provides clear and accessible study techniques tailored to individuals with dyslexia, ADHD, and DCD, helping them overcome challenges and succeed academically.
I found this study skills guide to be very helpful. I work with students who have the disordered identified above and this book provided many useful strategies. They are easy to use and follow. This book is a good reference tool for someone looking to make studying for important exams easier.
The Dyslexia, ADHD, and DCD-Friendly Study Skills Guide is a user-friendly wealth of information for older teens and young adults. It offers solid tips and tricks particularly for students moving into higher education. My only critique is that there is no information offered for younger students - these are skills that are layered and should be introduced much earlier on in a student's educational career.
Accessible guide for pupils, parents and teachers to use for exam and revision techniques. Practical shelf assessment activities and mnemonics help focus and guide for learning and exams.
