I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. This did not influence my opinion in any way.
I love true crime and was looking forward to reading this one. I thought it would be interesting to hear things from the perspective of a killer. Unfortunately, this book didn't work for me. The beginning felt very clinical and then when we started to hear from the killer it seemed very disjointed and didn't flow well. It was hard to stay interested.
This was more or less separate entries based on extensive taped interview sessions. I found myself wanting to be done with the book because the format used for telling the story was, for mr, disjointed and without flow. I have read so many true crime books in the last few years but yet I can't seem to get enough of them. This read more like diary entries and didn't really tell the story and ended abruptly.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for providing a copy of this book to read and review. The opinions expressed here are my own.
As a fan of true crime & someone that enjoys reading about serial killers, I really enjoyed this one.. This book was a psychological thriller that I kept me wanting more. Thrilling, shocking, & left me wanting more. Would recommend to others who would enjoy it.
