I received this book from NetGalley and I'm thankful for the chance to read it. This is my first book I read of Penny Dee and once I found it was part of a series and I want to read all the ones that came before it. This book is pretty much just what it's titled Off Limits. It's about a hot and forbidden love of the definitely off limits MC biker princess and a much old biker King. I do have to admit while reading this I sometimes couldn't get on board with age is just a number thing .. but I had to check myself that this is in all good fiction.. So with that said .. and being a huge fan of the whole SOA era I loved this book. It was an easy page turner in my book and I'm going to read the first four books that came before this one. Definitely hot and seamy read you will not be disappointed in, Penny has a great way to make her words play out a sexy story in your head.
Penny Dee puts two people together who shouldn’t work, but they do. This is a motorcycle romance dealing with an older man falling for a younger woman. These two unlikely people fall in love and are so happy together, they don’t care what anyone thinks.
Chastity is the niece of the president of the Kings of Mayhem motorcycle club and is considered the MC princess. She rarely dates because her uncle and brothers let everyone know she is off limits. However, when Chastity stays with Ruger after there is a flood in her apartment, a simmering attraction heats up between them. Ruger knows he should stay away from Chastity, but he can't seem to fight his feelings for her. Ruger knows he is too old for Chastity and her uncle, his best friend, would never forgive him for getting involved with her.
Ruger is a good guy underneath his bad boy persona. He cares about Chastity and she brings out his kind and protective nature. While Ruger tries to fight his attraction, Chastity pushes his buttons and after a while, he can’t think straight. Chasity is young, sweet and inexperienced and she isn’t afraid to show how she feels. I admired her confidence; she isn’t afraid of the consequences, because she knows what she wants. I loved these two together and all their interactions.
I have never really understood the motorcycle/biker troupe until I read this book. The fierceness and loyalty that they have for each other, blood or not, and the love they show their spouses is second to none. This was the story of Chastity and Ruger. Ruger is 16 years older then Chastity and knows that with her Uncle being the president of the Kings, along with his best friend, she was off limits but he was starting to think about her more and more. Lucky for both of them Chastity's apartment flooded and she needed to find temporary living quarters for the time being. Ruger invited her to live with him and she never left. Chastity was 22 and a virgin and wanted to rectify that situation. Men were scared of who her family were so they were not beating down the door necessarily for that honor. This book had the right amount of drama and romance and was the perfect slow burn.
Thank you to netgalley for allowing me to read this ARC in exchange for my honest review.
If you are looking for a good, guilty-pleasure read, then I would recommend Off Limits. Normally I read historical romances when I am looking for a bit of fun, but I decided to take a chance on this contemporary romance set in a Mississippi motorcycle gang. This is a few books in to the author's Kings of Mayhem series. Even though I had read none of the previous books, I had no problem following along with the action.
My one bit against this book has to do with how many subplots that were in the the story in order to keep the main characters apart. There were three, one of which could have been set aside as it didn't really serve the story and ended up just slowing things down. But on the whole, it was an enjoyable read.
I received a free e-ARC from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for a positive review.
ARC kindly provided through NetGalley. All the thoughts are my own.
When I found out about this book, I was both intrigued and skeptical about it. Intrigued because the blurb was so interesting and skeptical because I haven’t read and actually like many age gap romances. However, I’m so pleased that my skepticism was wrong, and I really enjoyed reading this book!!
The book was fire. It has the right amount of drama, action, sexiness and badassness to keep you at the edge of your seat wanting more. It’s been a while since I finished a book in one sitting and fell the urge to review it! The Mayhem bikers were exactly what I needed!! Chastity and Ruger are so forbiddingly perfect for each other. What made me love the story even more, was how the emotions and chemistry was pouring through the pages. I was right there with them feeling both the passion and the devastation.
“Off Limits” was my first book by Penny Dee. I love a good MC romance and after finishing this one, I came to the conclusion that I like how the author is writing them!! Safe to say that I’ll be diving into more books by the author!!
If you are a sucker for some hot bikers with a heart of gold, then give this book a chance; you won’t regret it!!!
I really liked and enjoyed this one. A great story line that had me hooked right away. I loved the characters and there chemistry.
I admit it - I picked up this book because of the beautiful bearded sexual thirst trap on the cover! I was a victim of intense cover love and didn't bother to thoroughly read the blurb. I also didn't realize that this book was already published when I requested it.
MC romances are not my favorite - this is known. So of course I didn't love that aspect and skimmed a lot of it, but the romance was just... not good which is what I based my review on. There's an age-gap (doesn't bother me, I'm actually a fan of this trope) but I didn't see the appeal of either of the main characters. A lot of the relationship development was done "off screen" which is the opposite of what you want to do. I never really felt the attraction besides the physical between the two. If they weren't forced into close proximity, these two would have never happened. There's no true, lasting chemistry. Just lots of basic lust.
If you're going to do a large age-gap, the younger party has to come off as mature. Chastity was so far from mature that it was laughable. The dialogue was painful, the writing was pretty bland, and the drama toward the end was excessive. There were a lot of eye-roll moments. Just all around hard pass for me.
I liked both characters and I didn’t mind the age gap. The love yous came rather quickly and there was ex drama which didn’t really add anything to the story. But I really enjoy the characters in this MC. Not my favourite book as I didn’t think there was much of a story but I will read the next one as I have loved the others,

Chastity is a MC princess who has always had a crush on Ruge, a member of the club. It would be OK if Ruger wasn't 16 years older than her and her uncle's best friend. And, to make it worse, this best friend is Bull, the club president. Let's say that being part of the Kings of Mayhem is not that easy.
But love is stronger than all the problems from the past or wars against the club enemies.
I loved this book. I couldn't put it down. I've read the three first books in this series. But this one is probably my favorite one. I don't really know because I'm sure I said the same after reading those books, too.
Anyway, the King's universe that Penny Dee has created is absolutely epic.
Now, pretty please, find someone for Bull... 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Ohhh! I love this series. I would say these are my guilty pleasure except there is no guilt involved at all.
Ruger has is the perfect Seargant at Arms except that he broke the one rule he shouldn't have. He fell in love and touched the President's niece. Now Bull is going to kill him.
Read this book to follow along on their sweet story. Be prepared there are some very scorching scenes in here.

I guess 4 not really sure. I did read it till it was done, but I have a house full of sick people and they slept most of the day so I read the whole day.
I like Chasity she stuck to her guns and was tough as nails. Not too much drama, but it took forever to get them together. It did drag and the it turned into a sex party. Lots of sex, lots. Ruger was hot, but he was very naïve when it came to his ex-girlfriend. Paternity test hellooooo?!
Good read, I want Bull to get his HEA.

3 1/2 Star Review....
Off Limits is the fifth instalment in Penny Dee’s Kings of Mayhem, MC series and fits nicely into the overall culture and background of the series foundation. Chastity is a MC Princess who naturally is forbidden fruit to the rough and tumble crew of this biker outfit. But Chastity really doesn’t want to live up to her name and she knows that there’s one King ready to step up and claim her innocence.
There is an A typical mandate from that no one touches Ruger's best friend's daughter, but I felt that the continual references to “I seriously want her, but I can’t have her” was definitely overdone. Say it a couple of times, then let it go. We get it! Overall a fitting addition to the series and a decent read.
**I received a copy of Off Limits from Net Galley and the author in exchange for a voluntary and honest review. **
Off Limits by Penny Dee is the fifth book in her Kings of Mayhem MC series this is Ruger and Chastity's story. I have to agree that while Ruger had a issue with the MC princess, older man vs younger lady in the end this is a very good book plus the ending was very sweet and I enjoyed it. So I'm giving this a 4.5 stars rating and hope there will be more Kings stories in the future.
Chastity has always felt that Ruger was someone special but being a MC princess has it's big draw backs especially given the order by her uncle that "Touch her and die". But when her home needs work he offers to let her stay with him. So when he rescues her from a date who doesn't understand No she tries to let Ruger know her feelings he won't listen. So through most of the story it goes back and forth but in the end when a local drug lord tries to sell his product in town it'll be the Kings who'll show them the door and Ruger will rescue Chastity from her kidnapper.
Ruger is the Kings sergeant-at-arms loves his home where he can relax from the day but with too much quiet he's not listening to the ache in his heart that needs to be loved. So when Chastity moves in he struggles with the feelings he has for her but when they finally give in they feel a love for each other. But when an old girl friend shows both Ruger and Chastity will have to chose what is right even if it breaks someones heart. Can he make the right choices even when it's wrong?
Although it holds a lot of typical MC elements, this club is more vigilante justice where they protect their town and their own people, with force and outside the law if they feel they need to. It is safe with exceptions. There’s no blatant in your face cliché player moments for the H. Ruger is actually a pretty decent guy who hasn’t been with anyone in a while. He’s not derogatory towards women, is always respectful of Chastity and even when he has to throw down with her uncle, he’s up front about that too.
Overall this story was well written, both MCs were interesting and kept me engaged. Their chemistry was hot and the build up to their relationship felt believable. The whole baby-mama drama was hinted at early on in the book and it became pretty obvious what was going to happen. I didn’t like it but I know the author was trying to show the readers Ruger’s character and also both MCs’ commitment to each other. As a huge hater of OM/OW drama, this frustrated me but I get why she did it and I appreciate that nothing came of it.
Memorable Moments: Ruger was a tough guy all around until it came to Chastity. I loved every time he fought to prove his love for her. He does it when they get the baby bomb shell, when Chas starts to let her insecurities get a hold of her and again when they confront his best friend and her uncle. Ruger was a romantic and I loved seeing that side of him.
Would I recommend? If you like MC romances I would definitely recommend this one. It had a lot of sexual tension, great chemistry and just the right amount of drama, angst and sweet romance to keep you entertained. Chastity was a strong heroine who didn’t go crazy or OTT and Ruger was a Hero worthy of her.
⭐️Four and a Half Stars⭐️
You should know that I love (and in no particular order):
*MC books
*Older man/younger woman couples
*Forbidden romance reads
“Off Limits” by Penny Dee encompasses all three of my favorite things! This book had me reeled in from page 1. I could not put it down until I finished it. Chastity is a biker princess, she is loved and protected by her uncle the Club’s Pres and loves to hate what that means for her sad sorry dating life. Ruger is the club’s enforcer, best friends with the Pres and sexy as sin. Unable to deny the off the charts chemistry between them, Chastity and Ruger give into it and it.is.glorious! TBR this hot and sexy read and enjoy. (I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.)
Chasity is a MC princess. Her uncle, Bull, is the head of the club and carries a lot of weight in other clubs. Bull has warned everyone that she is off-limits. Ruger is 16 years older than Chasity and Bull’s best friend. When Chasity needs a place to stay for a few weeks while her apartment is fixed Ruger offers his place. Yes, Chasity is beautiful but nothing is going to happen. Chasity on the other hand has had a crush on Ruger for years but he has always seemed uninterested. That is until they start living together.
This starts a love story that is full of passion, steam, great characters and an amazing plot. If you were a Son’s of Anarchy fan this book is for you. Highly recommend!
She is the forbidden fruit too irresistible to walk away from. The fifth book in Kings of Mayhem MC, Off Limits is Sargent at Arms Ruger La Montagne and college student and niece of his best friend Chastity Calley’s story. I liked the characters and enjoyed the story. I look forward to reading more
It's a Forbidden age gap Romance.
I liked the beginning of the book where all the family members in form of a family tree and bikers are introduced which gives a knowledge about the characters who will be in the book and helps to understand the relations clearly.
As this book was 5th in the series so I read all the four books first and I really liked them all so I was very excited to read this one too and this book stands on my expectations.
The story is basically about the love between Ruger who is a biker and best friend of Bull(President of Kings of Mayhem) and is 39 years old and Chastity who is a MC princess, sweet, innocent, 22 years old niece of Bull. The story is full of resistance, surrender, heartache and at the end for the fight to be with each other. I really liked that the family of chastity easily accepts her relationship with Ruger, irrespective of their age difference except for Bull which was also on some level justified.
The book shows the life of bikers also but on light level and not on dark or shady level which I liked a lot. Liked the way Chastity stands as a strong woman.
Overall the book was amazing and is excited to read the next installment in the series.
I've read each of the books in this series and have enjoyed them all. Some might be put off by the age gap, but it didn't bother me. Most of these books are light on the MC aspect, but are still entertaining. Good addition to the series!
I've enjoyed the Kings of Mayhem books and Off Limits met all my expectations. Ruger and Chasity are so not meant to be together but they just work so well. Ruger is everything you'd expect in a biker, except not the manwhore you'd expect. Chasity is the biker princess who's left to get an education. She's back and still attending school. Her life is almost ordinary but her ordinary boyfriend was too weak to stay with her when he found out about her brother's club affiliation. Now she's hurt, still innocent and still has a massive crush on the big man she's know her whole life who is way too old for her.
I liked watching these two move toward each other. I like the somewhat slow pace, they don't just jump in bed together. It never feels like either is inappropriate in the attraction or that one is in more than the other.
I love that when confronted Chasity, who's not been aggressive and pushy in general has a spine of steel and gets the best of a sheriff-posing creep.
This book, like the others is a little light on the biker culture but hints fully at the truths of the biker brand of justice and customs. It's not too violent to stomach but there's plenty of action and suspense.
