I finished the extended preview in record time and I’m so sad that I can’t finish. I can tell this book will be like The Friend Zone and I’ll struggle putting it down.

I need more. Now! The dialogue makes me want to be friends with Sloane and Kristen, the text flirtation (flirttextion) has me missing the early stages of any relationship. If the rest of the book is as good as these first six chapters, Abby Jimenez is guaranteed to have another bestseller on her hands.

What a great start! Well paced, with spot-on-humor, The Happy Ever After Playlist is instantly engaging and I am thrilled to read the full book. The premise, Sloan and Jason meet because of his dogs antics, is fun and fresh. By the third chapter, I was already laughing out loud and full invested with both main characters. Loving it so far!

OMG. I just got to read the extended preview and I cannot wait to read the whole book. These characters are so real - they’re flawed and human and wonderful, and I just cannot wait to watch Sloan fall in love.

This preview was the perfect length to hook any potential readers! I can’t wait to see how the rest of this book plays out in just a short while

Read the neak peek of 6 chapters. If possible, it is even better then TFZ. The dialogue is fast, witty and relatable. Her characters become real people to the reader so quickly. You don't want it to end because these are your friends now.
I have been reading the romance genre since I was 16 (I'm pushing 54 now.) I know a good book when I see one. This is a great one! My only complaint (other than not having the rest of the book) is that it took Abby this long in her life to realize she was a writer. I feel the world was deprived of access to her amazing twisted, hilarious mind for way too long.
I will be haunting my Kindle waiting for it to download the pre-sale HEAP I already bought.

OMG! What an amazing tease! Can’t wait for this book to come out and Keep enjoying these characters and their amazing banter. The Friend Zone was amazing but this one might just top it.

I loved this preview! As a fan of “The Friend Zone”, I just had to read this one. While it’s not appropriate for my elementary students, it’s the perfect romance for adult readers, and I’m glad I was given the chance to read it. Is it April yet?

Abby Jimenez’s writing flows like lyrics to your favorite song. As the story unfolds you can not help but, fall in love with the characters. The Happy Ever After Playlist will be a top contemporary romance novel of 2020.

I'm obsessed. I read The Friend Zone and really enjoyed it, but after a mere snippet of this novel I already love it more than its predecessor. Abby Jimenez is the queen of good flirty banter and I can't wait to read Sloan's whole story!

The Happy Ever After Playlist tells the story of Sloan, who, in The Friend Zone, suffered a heart-wrenching tragedy. This is only a preview but its engaging, humorous dialogues are a delight to read. This is a slow-burn romance. I’m guessing the ugly-cry, angsty scenes will make their appearance later in the book as Abby Jimenez’ signature style of story-telling.
Loved the preview and I'm absolutely sure I will love the finished book.

This was an excellent preview. I was quickly absorbed in Sloan and Jason's story and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of it. Waiting until April is going to be so difficult.

Just read the extended preview of this book I received off of #netgalley and can not wait for this book to come out so I can continue reading and see what happens with Sloan and Jason and this crazy chemistry they seem to have after she rescues his dog and accepts to keep watching him while Jason is out of town for work. Love the quick, flirty texts and conversations they have in this preview of the book!

Wow. Just wow. I loved Abby's first book but this book was something else. The characters were so well developed and the story was so fleshed out and real that I honestly felt like it was real. I cried (honestly, heart wrenching much??) and laughed and everything in between - and I wanted to fly out to get Nadia's cake (I see what Abby did there..). The characters were just so real and perfect and flawed - I want Kristin and Ernie as my best friends. And obviously Tucker too. This book was incredibly written and if you love happy rom coms, first read The Friend Zone then read this one immediately afterwards. Do it - you won't regret it for a second. Just bring tissues.

Just finished the Extended Preview, and I will definitely be picking up this book when it comes out! The story features Sloan and Jason. Sloan, is an artist who two years previously lost her fiance in a car accident and has been living a very sheltered life since then. Enter Tucker, a high energy lovable dog who starts to bring her out of her shell. it takes Sloan several weeks to track down his owner, Jason. The rest, is not history, but the rest of this story that I can't wait to read!
I read "The Friend Zone" and enjoyed it, but already feel myself more invested in this story. I always wondered what happened to Sloan from the first book, and love that she is getting her own story. I do think this book will stand on it's own as well, if you haven't read the first book.
I really enjoy the playfulness of the characters and how they interact together. I am really looking forward to seeing how the story between Sloan and Jason!

A huge thank you to Netgalley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for the ARC of this extended preview.
I was very happy to get this ARC. Since there's some time till its release, I'll have to wait a bit for the entire story but it's worth the wait. This story is quite unique and the writing is very good. I was completely into the book and finished it very fast and that too in one go. I really hope to read it upon its release.
This preview has all the best elements of a romance. The dialogues were good and Abby Jimenez's great storytelling made it worth my while. I liked the way it started and I finished it in one go. Really looking forward to it and I heartily recommend it to all the romance readers and also the authors fan. Also the cover is very pretty and eye catching. I loved it so far. A must read. Watch out for April 14.
Happy reading.

I absolutely loved Abby Jimenez first book 'The Friend Zone', therefore I've been soo excited for Sloan's Story! This preview made me even more excited and I literally cannot wait for this book to be released. I just want Sloan to find happiness again. Plus I am ready to cry, so can it please already be the April 14th??

I absolutely loved Abby Jimenez's first book and was tentatively hopeful that The Happy Ever After Playlist would be as good. Honestly, from this extended preview, it might be even better!
Sloan and Jason were interesting characters with great banter and chemistry. After getting to know Sloan in The Friend Zone, I am looking forward to seeing more of her story as she grieves and moves forward.
I cannot wait to read more of this book!

What was I thinking, signing up to read a preview? I basically just signed up to torture myself. One of my favorite things to read is witty banter via text. I'm right down giddy with how things are going for Jason and Sloan. I'm gonna need more ASAP. Things were literally just getting good.

In just a few chapters this preview had me hooked and I cannot wait to read the entire book! After reading "The Friend Zone" I was already attached to Sloan's story and I am ready to dive into her world fully. Abby Jimenez has an amazing ability for writing relatable characters that make you feel a strong emotional attachment to their story and they feel like your friends. From just reading the first chapters I can tell she has done it again! I am grateful to Netgalley and the publishers for the opportunity to read this preview in exchange for an honest review.
