Laugh out loud funny! Leave it to a dog, Tucker, to get two people talking, Sloan and Jason. One person needs to come out of a shell, another needs to learn to relax and slow down. This romantic comedy is for everyone! Although I only received the first six chapters from NetGalley, it's a must read!

While driving to her late fiance's grave, Sloan finds a stray dog and takes him in. The dog's owner ends up being a musician who is doing music for a movie in Australia. Once they get into contact, some flirting ensues and, I"m assuming, eventually a relationship.
It was okay. Definitely a cute little chick-lit, contemporary romance. I personally didn't vibe very well with the writing style and I'm not sure if I'll be picking up the complete book but I will definitely keep it in mind if I'm ever in need of a rom-com. I think the insta-love just isn't working for me right now.

So wonderful! The Happily Ever After Playlist is the perfect follow to to The Friend Zone. I can't wait to read the whole thing. I can already tell from this preview that I will love it.

I ended up buying a finished copy of this book and it’s just as great as The Friend Zone. I can’t wait to see what else this author has in store for us! So good!

I love this author and this series! She's funny, real, and she does an amazing job telling a very touching story of how a life (or lives) can change in an instant and how grief clings yet can change over time. It's a beautiful story that had me rooting for them as the story unfolds. And quite frankly, love centered around a dog makes my heart very happy.

This is an incredible sequel to The Friend Zone. I just love how funny and light the first 6 chapters had been. I've read the whole preview in one sitting and was a little bummed that I ran out of pages. I love how Sloan and Jason had some connections even before they met. I actually think I'm liking this book more than I did The Friend Zone!

After enjoying The Friend Zone, I could not wait to check out Abby Jimenez's new book, The Happy Ever After Playlist. This preview was just what I needed to get me wanting more and I will be getting the rest of the book. It is looking like a fun read!

I was very excited to see this preview here since I am a huge fan of Abby Jimenez and her social media presence. If you are not familiar with her, she owns Nadia Cakes, a cupcake store with locations in California and Minnesota. She went viral a few years ago when an amazing cake was made that resembled something, uh, not cake-like. Her witty comebacks to the comments on social media had me hooked, and I followed her on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. I can't get enough!

I read The Friend Zone when that first came out and enjoyed it, so I was looking forward to the second book. This book did not disappoint. Is the plot 100% conceivable? Not really. But let's face it, when you want to get lost in a fun read, does that really matter? The chapters alternated from the perspective of Sloan and Jason. There is a playlist that goes along with each chapter to enhance your reading experience. I did not take advantage of this while I was reading, because I didn't want to stop reading!

I really enjoyed the excerpt of The Happy Ever After Playlist. There is a great meet-cute between the two main characters and their dialogue is quick and smart. I think it will delve into some deeper issues while also remaining light. The preview definitely made me want to read the entire book.

After loving Abby Jimenez's The Friend Zone so much I was eager to see what this book would be like in comparison, so I was happy to get a preview of it from Net Galley. I really enjoyed this preview of The Happy Ever After Playlist, and will definitely be purchasing the full eBook to continue reading it. I absolutely loved this sneak peek of The Happily Ever After Playlist. Abby Jimenez does not shy away from tackling the subjects that tend to get overlooked in life. I love the message that sorrow and grief is a journey, but doesn't have to be the destination. I cannot wait to purchase the book so I can finish Sloan's story.

SO darn fun! Abby Jimenez stole my heart with this adorable romcom.Sloane and Jason had the most perfect meet cute ever (not sure if technically this was a meet cute, but I’m calling it that because it was super cute). The beginning of their relationship was pure magic, so sweet and authentic. They of course had some bumps in the road when they were literally on the road traveling while Jason’s band was on tour. It was all resolved almost as adorably as they met. The audiobook was narrated by Erin Mallon and Zachary Weber who are two of my all-time favorite narrator’s and they did an outstanding job as always! There is just so much to love about this book: the friendship between Sloan and Kristin, Jason’s amazing family, and Best of all tucker the dog! The perfect romance that will make you swoon, smile, and side.

I loved reading the first chapters of this book because I loved that character and getting to know our main characters and loved her attachment to the dog was this wonderful sweet moment. Can't wait to finish reading this!

This book wasn’t as good as the first one, but it is still a wonderful story that brought me to tears!

I LOVED this book! While this is not a "book series", I was nervous about reading it after loving The Friend Zone. I didn't think it would live up to the hype and boy was I wrong! I loved Sloan and Jason so much, I could literally feel their chemistry through the book pages!!! This is my 2nd book I've read from Abby Jimenez and it won't be my last! Giving this wonderful book 5 stars!

Totally in love with this extended preview. It's cute, it's heartbreaking, it's possibly a real sample of what this book is going to feel.
I love Sloan from before and I can't wait to see her heal. And Jason and his dog look real good. I hope this turns out real great. I hope they get to be really happy. Sloan deserves everything.
