I loved the characters and the storyline development of this book. It was absolutely one of my favorites so far and I can't wait to delve in to the next one that this author writes. The storyline was simple, enjoyable, and entertaining.
I love FBI novels! This is another great one. You are sucked into the story . You will love all of this book.
Camden is and FBI agent with a past that haunts him. Autumn is a girl that is trapped in an abusive relationship with a Biker, but not just any biker, the president of the club thats distributing her ion! Can Cam save the girl and get the bad guys despite his personal issues!
I read and reviewed this advanced complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley
A story that has an FBI agent who goes under cover in a biker club to expose a drug ring. Camden the agent is coming off a case where the hostage was killed has taken time off and was thinking about leaving. Now talked back into work he decides to do this job.
Autumn has been living with Butch for five years after her brother dropped her off at seventeen and drove away. She is terrified of the president of the club and he uses that to his advantage over her. She stays in fear most of the time.
The beginning of the story is just like that until Camden's cover is blown and Autumn comes and rescues him from where they were hiding him. Then the two of them began living at his grandmother’s house. It is here where the story takes a turn and then after a while Autumn takes off to find her brother which only puts her back in the same place as before.
You then are left with them searching for her and still trying to find the drugs. There is also another case he is working on during all of this. This is just a quick read and was just for fun for me. I really did not take anything to serious with this story I looked at it as just a story and it was okay not great.
Fast paced and action filled. I really enjoyed this mystery, romance read. Autumn was a sympathetic heroine who had been through terrible times, unbelievable really. She always felt weak and lost and Camden confess into her life at a time she discovers her bravery and her desire to be more.
Camden has pain in his past but pushed through on his next assignment undercover with a MC. Cam soon finds himself in over his head and at the mercy of a beautiful woman to save him.
Once Cam and Autumn get together their chemistry is apparent as well as the danger they find themselves in. Intense and exciting, this was a great read.
this is a quick read that is sweet and fast paced...Autumn is an unexpected character and her actions are pivotal in the plot of this book. a surprising read from a new author, I'll be looking for more :)

This is the first book in the A FBI Romance series by Allyson Simonian.
I am not certain if this is going to be a series but since it was labeled “An FBI Romance” I am going to assume so. Looks like it used to be part of a bundle where multiple authors put a story into one large volume. Now it has been busted apart and each story is now its own individual book.
Basic premise: Autumn has had a hard life. She never attended school, she didn’t know how to read and her brother left her with a much older man who was a drug runner /gang member and an all over bad guy. Camden Taylor is working undercover at the FBI trying to uncover trying to infiltrate the Wicked Disciples. Autumn saves his life after his cover is blown and he takes her to the protection of his grandparent’s farm.
I thought this was a great story. Even though there are bits of romance in this, it felt more like a suspense or thriller story with a dash of happily ever after added in for good measure. Romantic suspense would fit the bill for this title, more suspense than romance, however. It is the type of book that really keeps you on your toes. Loads of tension and awfulness. You wonder how people can survive such abuse and begin to think people’s bad treatment of them is normal.
This book also felt like a bit of a police procedural as Cam and his FBI roommate Martin were digging into the details of this gang, Wicked Disciples. At the same time Cam befriends an inmate during his undercover stint in the prison he believes to be innocent and he begins looking into his case at the same time as all the gang related nonsense connected to Autumn.
There seems from this description that there would be a lot of downtime in this book but there really wasn’t. I enjoyed the classic boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl and they live happily ever after. The chase after the killer(s) was thrilling and I kept wondering if Cam would ever find Autumn after she disappeared to St. Louis looking for her brother.
If this book is indeed a series, I hope the author makes her next main character, Martin, Cam’s roommate and co-worker in the FBI. He has all sorts of posibilities surrounding him, I think.
Overall, just one great book.
If you love a good romantic suspense, definitely check this one out. You won’t be disappointed.
I received this as an ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) in return for an honest review. I thank NetGalley, the publisher and the author for allowing me to read this title.
What a great introduction to a new author for me, I will be reading more of her books in the future.
Camden is fighting with himself over going back to his FB job. The last one he was one damaged him both physically and mentally along with the fact they lost the kid who had been kidnapped. But when his boss calls and needs him to go undercover he decides to take thd job and then decide whether or not his job is right for him anymore. Little did he know he would meet Autumn. Read now to see what happens when they meet one another, it's a pivotal point in the story. Maybe Autumn isn't the only one who needs rescuing.
I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Cam, an FBI agent is rescued by the girlfriend of a motorcycle club president. He, in return, offers her protection from them. It is a sweet story of a woman kept a victim due to her circumstances and abused by people who should have been supportive. Cam is ready for changes in his life and Autumn bring change.
I know a lot of people romanticize Motorcycle Clubs and what they are all about. I have a hard time with a lot of them because of the violence and treatment of women. This book, does not romanticize them, it reads more like a true crime podcast in many ways. The style of writing is something you'd find more commonly in a thriller or crime novel than romance - and that totally works for this book.
Cam is an FBI agent who is recovering from a failed recovery operation related to a kidnapping. The FBI begs him to take another assignment infiltrating an MC to help find the source of heroin trafficking that the MC is facilitating. Cam agrees to the assignment and starts investigating.
Autumn has not had an easy life. Her father was some kind of anti-government person with a vaguely criminal life. Her mother died when she was six. She has no formal education, no formal identification, can't read or write, and basically seems to have been completely neglected by her family. At 17 her brother handed her over to Butch, the president of an MC. Butch proceeds to rape and abuse Autumn until and throughout the book. He continues to keep Autumn uneducated and controlled because he views her as his property rather than a person. It is fairly shocking that Autumn hasn't ever gotten pregnant or had a sexually transmitted disease.
Autumn saves Cam's life and sets off a cartwheel of events to change her own. Cam helps Autumn learn to read and write and begin to find an independent place in her life. He realizes Autumn is anything but stupid - she just hasn't been given any opportunity to live or learn. He really is one of the first people to ever show her kindness.
If you like true crime or mystery with a side of romance, I think this is a good book for you. The players and mysteries weren't that mysterious - but the story was really well written and I appreciated the attention to detail.
I received this book as an ARC from NetGalley but these opinions are my own!
The story starts off with a very sad woman that author wants readers to get behind. The story is very disconnected as the story moves forward Camden throw the investigation out the window with very little though of what would happen. This seems to continue though out the story which make little since that a trained undercover FBI agent risking the undercover operation. The story ends up falling flat lacks a focus, sections are written and than thrown into the book with little focus causing the stories to fall apart.
Thank you to Netgalley and the author for a copy of Allyson Simonian Rescuing Autumn.

Very good story. I read it in a couple of hours, couldn't put it down. This was the first time reading this author and I will be looking for more.
* Voluntarily read and reviewed this for Netgalley*
A big thank you to NetGalley and the author for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. First time reading this author. This is a reissue and renamed from Meeting Danger. I just didn't get into this book. I liked Camden and .itch but Autumn. Blah Sorry but what did she do all day? Do the housework, get the meal ready and then watch Sesame Street. Try to help yourself. Really just couldn't quite believe their attraction. I am also not a big fan of motorcycle gang stuff, so I basically skimmed it. Maybe if Autumn had been even a tad bit feisty I could enjoyed it. 2 stars
This was a new author for me. I enjoy romantic suspense/action stories so I was hoping this would be a hit. Unfortunately, it just didn't do it for me. In reading a bunch of books in this genre, I know there is a certain pattern that a lot adhere to. However, I felt like this was almost like a recipe: establish sad backstory for the hero, establish troubling backstory for the heroine, insta-attraction that is denied, heroine makes terrible judgements, good guy save the girl form the bad guy and the like HEA. Also, for spending the last five years in the situation she did, the heroine is awfully trusting.
