Zen AF. I think I yelled at Arya and Harrison a little much to keep that title, but it brought a whole new level to reading for me. I felt the drama of the book could have been avoided with communication and even though it seemed like a simple resolve it wasn’t. With 10% left in the book I was starting to wonder if this was going to be a romance that turned into each person moving on and being happy single. I’m glad to know that didn’t happen, it turned into a HEA. I should have had more faith and less doubt, as this author has rarely let me down.

I can’t get enough of the Wynn Family. This series is packed full of hockey goodness and the crazy Wynn family and I loved Harrison’s story.
Harrison and Arya were previously introduced in the series. Harrison being a Wynn and Arya being the yoga instructor. A hockey player doing yoga? Yeah, Harrison isn’t the most graceful when he first starts out.
There is an instant attraction for Harrison, he goes all in when it comes to Arya. There is something about her that he is drawn to, so when she finally gives in to his advances and he gets to see more of her, he only falls deeper. Arya is a little hesitant when it comes to Harrison. She is still struggling with what happened in her past, but she knows that she needs to try to date again and Harrison quickly shows that he isn’t a bad guy.
I loved the chemistry between Harrison and Arya from the start, but when they both are on the same page it is explosive. Arya, I wanted to hug the girl and I was cheering for her because she is a survivor. She moved half way across the country and started her life over after a horrible event. It isn’t easy to uproot your life, especially when you are still living in some fear. Harrison is hard working, he is out to prove that he isn’t just coasting and relying on his name when it comes to hockey.
If you’re a fan of hockey romances For the Win and the rest of the Wynn series is a MUST READ!

Jamieson has married two things I love in this series. I am all about the hockey romance, and love a good family focus. The Wynn Hockey series gives me lots of both.

Who?

• Harrison - A veteran on the Condors farm team, he hoped to get called up and stay in the NHL this time, but his constant battle with his family legacy and self doubt keeps getting in the way.

• Arya - A yoga instructor, who has sworn off men, and for good reason. She was working to move on from her past, but was struggling with trusting men and her judgement of them.

What?

Harrison had been attracted to Arya since the first time he saw her, but she didn't seem interested. When Arya was hired as the Condors' yoga instructor, Harrison thought this would be his opportunity to pursue Arya, but could this relationship work? And if it did, would it derail Harrison's shot at the NHL?

Why?

I was a fan of Harrison's from previous books, and I was happy to get to know him better. He seemed so happy go lucky, but in reality, he felt like the inadequate Wynn. Being a team veteran was not the worst thing, but at his age, his days were numbered. It was time for him to make that push to become a permanent member of the NHL team, however, he first had to deal with the pressure he put on himself to live up to the family name and restore his self-confidence. I really felt for Harrison. I loved him, and wanted him to make the team and get the girl. He grew a LOT, and watching him evolve and open up was icing on the cake for me.

Then, there was Arya. At first, I didn't get why she was the way she was. Here was this attractive guy with a great personality, who was obviously into her, and she was putting him off. But, when I learned about what prompted her move to L.A., I totally understood her reticence to trust another man. Her past was rough, and she had physical scars to show for it. She had to learn to trust her instincts and Harrison, but it was a journey for her, which was riddled with many bumps.

Though Arya's storyline was of a serious nature, there were lots of fun and warm moments throughout this book. I especially loved the meet-the-family scene, because I am a fan of the big and crazy Wynn family. There were also some really touching heart-to-hearts between Harrison and his family, as the clan dealt with their Patriarch's health issues. I was glad to see more progress made towards a family reconciliation, because it's easy to see, that they will need to pull together as a family unit sooner than later.

Overall: Another solid book in the Wynn Hockey series. Both Harrison and Arya are characters you will want to root for, and it was wonderful seeing these two tackle some serious obstacles and get their HEA.

This was my first book in this series so I was a little lost with all the characters and the big Wynn family, but I have to say I really liked Harrison. While he is a bit goofy at times, I think his heart is always in the right place.

He falls for Arya (I hate when odd names are used it makes my brain itch) and wants to prove to her that he is what she needs. He does come off a little strong, which she finds a little off putting as she does have a past she is trying to move on from, and while she is trying to give Harrison a shot it sometimes makes her run.

I enjoyed their chemistry and how open they both were with each other. The Wynn family is a lot to live up to and Harrison struggles with the pressure, but I loved how they seemed to always come together to support each other.

Lots of laughter, love and good characters. Overall a win!

I loved this book. Arya and Harrison were likable characters. Arya has had a bad incident in her past that she still struggles to work through but she's made a comfortable life in LA.

Harrison Wynn comes up from AHL to the NHL to help out the Condors when too many injuries occur on the team near play offs.

Arya and Harrison meet at her Yoga classes.

The story is a good one and at times the rest of the Wynn family are present with their own drama.

There is hockey, some yoga, and a sweet romance.

Even though I really enjoyed the author's Aces Hockey series, I didn't care for this book. Maybe, it was because I hadn't read the previous books in the series or maybe it was because I have never been drawn to yoga. I liked Harrison very much, but I didn't care that much for Anya. Her dialogue didn't sound natural to me. I received a free copy of this eBook from the publisher. This is my honest and voluntarily given review.

Kelly Jamieson's books are very hit or miss for me, this one was unfortunately a miss. but I will give her more chances.

I've looked forward to every book in this series, and this was no exception. Light and sexy with a hero who is easy to love, it's a great addition to the lineup. Though the family dynamics will seem complicated to those who haven't read about the Wynn family before, the romance stands completely on its own. I loved Harrison, the slightly goofy but extremely lovable hero whose tenacity both helps and hinders his budding relationship.

The story follows Harrison, a pro hockey player who has a lot to live up to - as part of a family that revolves around the sport, there's plenty of pressure to perform. Harrison is a genuinely good guy with a playful side, and when a yoga instructor catches his eye, it's not long before he's all in. The only problem is that Arya doesn't seem as into him, making Harrison relentless in his pursuit of getting the girl he knows is meant to be his. Though Arya is attracted to Harrison, past experiences have made her hesitant to move forward... but there's no denying he's the kind of guy she's been looking for.

I love how different the personalities of each of the heroes in this series have been, and Harrison is the kind of guy you can root for from the start. It was so refreshing that he's the one determined to convince Arya that they're meant to be - though he might be a little overeager at times. I didn't love Arya as much - she's got her reasons to be guarded, but I felt like she held her silence for too long, and wasn't as open and honest as she needed to be to start a real relationship. This is one instance where I felt like a slower burn would've benefited the story, just because of the dynamics of their relationship, but I enjoyed this from start to finish. I'm not sure what's next for the Wynns, but I'd love to read more from the series. I received an ARC via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review of this sports romance.

harrison wynn finally gets his turn in for the win, and of course, it is with yoga instructor arya ross. we've seen harrison and arya interact in earlier books in the series, and it's clear from the get-go that these two are meant for each other.

if only arya didn't have some very real trauma to get past. after a man in her past quickly made the turn from date to stalker, she has some issues trusting new men in her life. especially one who feels persistent. and while harrison is persistent, he isn't ever disrespectful, and this is a very tight rope to walk. and one, to be very fair, he doesn't even know he is walking, because arya doesn't tell him about her past experience well past when she should.

and i'm not saying she needed to dig into her trauma earlier, but you can't get mad at someone for not instinctively knowing what might be triggering if they have no context, especially if it's interaction that seems harmless for someone without that kind of trauma.

but harrison and arya work through those things, harrison has quite a bit going on, with his father receiving a definitive diagnosis of alzheimer's and the family drama that ensues from that and his own struggles with hockey and feeling like he isn't living up to the player that everyone thinks he could be.

this is another delightful hockey romance from jamieson, and i loved the callback to the aces series too. can't wait to see what she has in store for jackson, whose sudden appearance at the end of for the win makes me think his book is next.

**for the win will publish on march 3, 2020. i received an advance reader copy courtesy of netgally/random house publishing group (loveswept) in exchange for my honest review.

Another win for the Wynn family series! I love every book so far, though I couldn't pick my favorite. Harrison and Arya made for a enjoyable page Turner. I felt for Arya, I really did and for Harrison who swear walked around with a question mark on his face half the time. Between hockey and family, yoga and Arya...he didn't know if he was coming or going. Arya gave me a bit of whiplash, but I got it. Having been in her shoes, I get it, but she's still incredibly strong and able and in the end she and Harrison are absolutely perfect for each other.

Bring on the next book.

I absolutely love this series and For the Win is a wonderful addition to it! Self-imposed family expectations are Harrison Wynn's driving force. After all, the Wynn family is hockey royalty. However spending most of his time on the Condor's farm team is a huge hit to his confidence. Finally called up to the Condors it seems he may get a chance to prove he is worthy to stay if he can get out of his head. It is there where he meets Arya Ross, a yoga instructor who is just trying to find peace in her life, as she still wrestles with a traumatic event from her not so distant past. Harrison is gobsmacked from the get-go and diligently pursues Arya. They start seeing each other and seem to be doing great but he doesn't realize that his hot pursuit is not always welcome because of the past she has told him nothing about. So despite what seems to be a good thing they have going, at times Arya pushes him away and it causes a rift in their budding romance. There is also some difficult family drama that Harrison has to deal with. I do love how all the Wynn's come together for this though. But with better communication and the growing feelings they have, they can get through anything to find their HEA.

For the Win was definitely a winning read.

I love Kelly Jamieson's writing, and I've come to expect a lot from her books—I expect them to make me feel good, to make me smile and laugh, to tug at the heart a little, to show interesting family and friend dynamics, and, of course, to make my temperature rise. This book does all of that, and it does it so, so well.

Harrison and Arya are an absolute delight. They just seem to work together, and I love how everything feels easy and lighthearted while still have a vein of depth that adds to the overall tension of the book. Between Harrison's family woes and Arya's troubling past, they have their own hurdles to overcome, and yet they do it in a way that means it's impossible not to root for them.

For the Win is another exceptional(ly swoony) installment in the Wynn Hockey series, and I'm excited for Jackson's book next!

Another good book in the Wynn Hockey series - read the other three first so you know the family members and background included in this book.
Harrison is transferred from the farm team to the Condors NHL team, and that means spending more time around a lot of his family members, including his sister. She's taken him to stand-up paddleboarding yoga classes before, and Harrison finds himself with a major crush on the instructor. Arya is happy to be teaching the SUP classes and others at another local studio, but she also gets hired on to teach private classes for the Condors and ends up spending lots more time around Harrison.
The couple had good chemistry. There was a LOT of yoga in here, descriptions of full classes and poses that I didn't fully understand. It was offset by a good amount of hockey. Harrison's nearly immediate and significant level of interest in Arya needed more reasoning for me.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Kelly Jamieson’s fourth installment in the Wynn Hockey series, For the Win, upped the bar on intensity of the previous three stories, it too is more than just a hockey story, it’s about family, relationships, emotions, but here it’s also about rebirth/growth, recovery and the journey (Unalome) to finding happiness/fulfillment. Harrison and Arya are a couple that you’ll find quite easy to create an emotional bond with...their heart-rending highs and lows, misunderstandings, and misconceptions are superseded by their explosive passion...wow!!...these two burn up the pages.

This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and NetGalley. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

The legacy of the Wynn family is in hockey. Starting with the patriarch, all of his children and grandchildren, either play hockey, manage a team, or write about it. Harrison is no exception. He has been farmed out from the minors to play in the NHL again. This time, he wants to shine for the coach, so he’s not traded back. Lately his father has been forgetting people’s names, making strange decisions. Unfortunately, after going to the doctor, he was diagnosed with early stages of Alzheimer’s. This makes Harrison more determined to prove to his father that he has it in him to succeed in the NHL. When the team hires a sexy yoga instructor to help the team to heal quicker with injuries and to also prevent them, Harrison is onboard. He’s had his eye out for Arya Ross since he dunked her in the ocean by mistake.

Arya’s past has been helped by yoga. Now she owns her own studio and recently got an offer to do a once a week class for the local NHL team. She’s not ready for dating yet, but a sexy hockey player keeps asking her out, and maybe, just maybe, she’ll agree to go on a date with him. Is it possible that Arya can move forth and let Harrison into her life?

Like anything that Kelly Jamieson writes, this book is no different. Another hit!

For the Win
A Wynn Hockey Novel

by Kelly Jamieson

📚💕⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💕📚

Omg, I loved this book! Harrison is so real. He lets Arya see inside his heart. The only problem is she is fighting the pull they have to each other. I
really enjoyed this book and it kept me engrossed throughout. I really loved the characters and the way they interacted with each other. This is a fun, hot, romantic must read book and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

Authors Blurb: Harrison Wynn
Even though I’m the oldest player on the farm team, I’m playing my heart out this year to prove that I have what it takes to compete in the NHL.
Everyone expects me to live up to my dying hockey hero dad’s legacy, but my chances are receding every season.
What I need is to focus, but the team’s new yoga instructor is a major distraction; I’ve had my eye on her from the first time we met.

Except she’s not interested okay, maybe actively disinterested since I accidentally dumped her into the ocean during our paddleboard yoga class.
How can I prove to her and to the NHL that I’m worth taking a chance on?

Arya Ross
Men are the last thing I need in my life. Yoga is my priority; it helps me center myself and heal my soul. But I can’t turn down the once-in-a-lifetime offer to be the personal yoga instructor for the local hockey team. Sure, there are some cute players including Harrison Wynn, who seemingly won’t take no for an answer, and whose boyish smile and sexy charm are hard to resist.
He seems genuine, and I wonder . . .

The author writing is flawless, and the words are so captivating, the plot had so many twists and turns and none that I was expecting, and many shockingly intimate I have become a huge fan of this author. She writes with so much intensity and emotion pulled from each book it’s felt page after page. Some are quick witted story lines are so perfect and lets you believe you have a front row seat. So being able to read this love story didn’t disappoint. The authors ability to have two separate individuals struggling in their everyday life and try to navigate someone else’s thoughts, needs and desires was intense and gives all the fills.

This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

I have enjoyed all of the books in Kelly Jamieson's Wynn Hockey series so far and For the Win was no different!

Harrison Wynn has always felt like he has a lot to live up to. Due to the family he was born into, that is true, but he tends to put more pressure on himself than he even realizes. While he's got a ton of talent, there is something that is holding him back. He's been given his chance to prove himself in the NHL, so that is what he sets out to focus on. That is until Arya comes into his life.

Arya Ross is working hard to get settled into her new life, in her new city. She's teaching yoga and that is what she wants to focus on. She went through an experience that has made her less than open and the last thing she's looking for is any kind of romantic entanglement. When she's given the opportunity to teach yoga to the local professional hockey team, she takes it.

Harrison is taken with Arya the first time he sees her. While she rebuffs his advances, he decides he's going to work overtime to try to impress her and get her to go out with him. They do begin to spend time together, but will the intense, albeit in many ways sweet, way that Harrison pursues Arya going to do more harm than good due to the things she's gone through in the past?

This story dealt with real-life issues and I thought that Jamieson did a fantastic job with it. Unfortunately there are far too many women who have experienced what Arya did in the book and I appreciate that a light has been shined on it in this book. I really enjoyed both Harrison and Arya and this was another great addition to this series!

I was so excited for Harrison and Arya! We met them both briefly in previous books in the series. Their chemistry was subtle at first, given a past experience of Arya’s. It sure was fun watching them slowly simmer and then full-on boil!
But, with any story where someone was hurt and is trying to deal with the backlash, you keep waiting for the other sore to drop. Will he screw up? Will she? Will they both play a part in their possible demise?
5 stars says you should find out!!

More of the Wynn Family!

Hockey player Harrison Wynn is the oldest player on his farm team when he was called up again for the Santa Monica Condors because of injuries to other players when he met yoga teacher Arya Ross at stand-up paddleboard yoga. Harrison didn’t make a good impression the first time he met her but when she was hired by the team to help improve their flexibility because they need all the help they could get to make the playoffs for the first time in years. Arya had moved to California to get away after being attacked by a stalker that claimed she was his future wife and when Harrison said the same phrase causing all problems with him trying to date Arya.

I really like For the Win because you get more about members of the Wynn family and the problems with Harrison’s dad and the rest of the family. The main part of the story is still the romance between Harrison and Arya that still has the groveling part when he screws up trying to date Arya.

P.S. You need to buy everything Kelly Jamieson writes!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
