The Magnolia Sisters is a very sweet read that I really enjoyed. I found the characters likable and relatable. I especially enjoyed the interaction between Harper and Luke.
This would be a perfect beach read. It has a cute, slow burning romance aspect with humor thrown in that will keep you smiling.

Told from Harper and Luke's (the two central characters) viewpoints, The Magnolia Sisters is a story of family loyalties, misperceptions and changes of heart. The Californian backdrop is beautiful. There's a slow burning love story and characters that feel very real. This is a fabulous read, beautifully written. It’s the kind of book that will remain with you long after you’ve reached the last page. I'm absolutely not going to give anything away, only to say HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The Magnolia Sisters is a short cute read. Harper fends off city slicker Luke who wants her family's flower farm for his sister's upcoming wedding. Sparks fly as Harper tries to remain immune from his charms but predictably each is falling for the other. The characters are quirky and the small town seems ideal. Just right for a reader who is looking for a quick Romantic read.

This was a quick easy romance read . It was fun to watch the 2 main characters learn to trust each other. I also enjoyed the beautiful setting of the flower farm and how they worked to save it. The secondary characters were also great. I look forward to reading more from this author . Thanks to Net Galley for an early copy . https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/3172461513

They always say that there is a thin line between love and hate and it seems to be true once again.

You might know the feeling when you meet someone for the first time and he/she does something that makes you want to slap them and when you get to know them better they become the love of your life or your best friend. It's a case of not judging a person based on their faux pas, but being open to looking beyond first impressions.

What you can do yourself, you do better, right? And when it goes wrong, you are the only one to blame, but everything is so much more fun when you have someone to share it with. This means opening your heart and having faith in the one you are letting in.

This is a lovely story about family bonds and learning to trust and when the title is explained in the book, it made my heart melt. 4 stars

The Magnolia Sisters by Alys Murray is a heartfelt romance placed in a field of beautiful flowers! Life is not always easy for the three magnolia sisters as they fill integral jobs to help keep the family business going smoothly. Harper Anderson does not take it very kindly when Luke Martin and his sister, Annie, try to force Harper into an agreement to host a wedding in the midst of the floral hillside during the busiest season. Luke will not take "No' for an answer and makes an arrangement to work at the farm as Harper's assistant. Harper has no time for this big city interloper and tries to work Luke down and force him to quit.. As emotional sparks fly Harper befriends Annie and then finds herself in a conflict with her own sister, May. The family dynamics become complicated as Harper tries to come to terms with the aggravations and charms of Luke Martin!

The Magnolia Sisters
by Alys Murray

This was an easy romance, a light read that is perfect for the beach, pool, plane or just a relaxing weekend. The development of the two main characters, Harper and Luke is just what you would want. It’s also a story about the closeness of family and learning to trust. What more romantic setting than a flower farm in Northern California? Romance fans, this one will leave you with all the good feelings!

A sweet romance in which the fiercely-independent programs soften their strong edges while maintaining their commitments to family, small town living, and family farming.

“ The Magnolia Sisters” is a tale of family, love, and heartache. The author does a great job bringing the characters and beautiful setting to life making the reader wish they were there on the Anderson Flower Farm. A well written, sweet, easy read, I look forward to the next book in the series.

Can Harper trust a man with her heart?

This was another 2 a.m. read! I absolutely could not put this book down. Funny, emotional, all at once.
The author did an amazing job with the characters and was a well written story.
You wanted to be there on that cozy beautiful farm.
"She's opened her heart up to me once. Maybe she can do it again. Maybe I can earn her love again."

The Magnolia Sisters is a sweet romance with a decidedly "Pride and Prejudice" feel to it. Besides the romantic main story there are great stories exploring family as well as female friendships.

My qualm with this book comes from the lack of chemistry between the main characters. There are no almost-kisses, brushing hands, or longing glances, even as we know they are falling for each other. There is no hint of underlying sizzle or longing.

Not every romance novel needs to be erotica-filled, but this book is so tepid in that department that it was hard for me to believe that these two were truly in love by the end.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest feedback.
