I'm so in love already with all this. The story looks amazing, the cover is gorgeous. I grew up with this series and I can't wait to have the final book in my hands. I'm so excited.

This is such a teasing snippet but it has done wonders for my curiosity. With each new book/series in this world I begin to fear I may be approaching my limit but then I meet the new set of characters and any doubts I had are gone. Even though this was a quick preview for the upcoming new series it does a marvelous job creating a vivid image of the characters and immediately endures you to their fight. I'm honestly more excited than ever to read about these characters and see what adventures lay ahead.

OK... I am OBSESSED with the Shadowhunter world; and cannot wait to get my hands on the full version of this!!!

A fast-paced start to new characters in a familiar world. Just the surnames conjure excitement before we even get started in the story. The familiarity with the world bred a quick connection to the story. I cannot wait to read more.

Chain of Gold is just getting us ready for another amazing series by Cassandra Clare

James Herondale and his demon magic is what I’m most excited for. Also Matthew just being Mathew. I’m so ready for that!

Ummm... Cassandra Clare does it again. I'm getting so tired of the Shadowhunter books and want her to do something new, but she's got me hook line and sinker once more. Loving this taste of these characters and I can't wait for my finished copy to come.

First off, the cover is brilliant, as with all her covers. But then we move to the story and it is so brilliantly written. Though it connects to previous series, it does not seem necessary to have read them. Cassandra Clare has a way of weaving her stories so new readers never feel left out.

I really enjoyed the excerpt, the writing is great and I really enjoyed the characters, from the little bit we get. I didn't want it to end and I'm super looking forward for the book release. It sure seems like a great new first book set in the Shadowhunters world. Can't wait :)

This cover is beyond gorgeous and the story is instantly intriguing. I love this world that Clare has invented and I just cannot wait to read the rest of Chain of Gold! I absolutely love Cassandra Clare and have read all of her books. I'm so anxious to get my hands on this one! Definitely a must read for me!

I was excited to read this excerpt, but with the download link not working, I'm unable to open the download.
I also wish, that there was some notification prior to Requesting/Downloading that specified what kind of Download it is - Kindle, EPub, etc.
I"m super excited to read this, but now, because of a legitimately faulty link, I'm unable to download, read and provide ay sort of genuine feedback of the book.
Since I have to rate this to even submit this feedback - mainly submitting it so that others know that there's an issue - MY RATING IS NOT A REFLECTION OF THE BOOK OR IT'S CONTENTS. I hate to rate it as a 1, so I'm rating it as a 3, for now.
