Emma's dad Geoffrey invites his family as well as his business partner and his wife, son and daughter in law on a holiday to a Greek island.
But the day after they arrive, Emma's dad is found unconscious, having fallen off a cliff. The same cliff that his previous business partner Alan, had fallen to his death from 9 years ago. Emma soon discovers that her dad might have a hidden reason to come back to the island...

It was a good entertaining read, and I liked the unusual narration in the form of interviews.
The story was gripping enough for me to be anxious to find out which of the interviewees were telling the truth.
But in the end, I found myself disappointed with the turn of events. I was hoping for a more twisty conclusion. The story was building up into something big, but then it suddenly disregarded it all in favor of a bland ending.
I was especially let down by the quick dismissal of the secret Emma's dad was hiding. I feel that avenue could have been explored further but instead, nothing really came of it.
It was a weird book, the author's note at the beginning made me wonder if the story was based on a real event. Later, I concluded that it was just part of the plot but then again the author's note at the end made me question it.
Overall it was an entertaining read and if you're on the lookout for something unusual, then this book is for you.
It gets 3 stars.

I have read several books by Kerry Wilkinson and enjoyed them so was looking forward to reading this. It’s a different format to usual set from several peoples point of view but it was quick paced and kept me gripped still hence I read it in a day. I highly recommend this book and author. If you haven’t tried any of the books before by this author you will be in for. a treat.
