This one hits all the buttons, unique, HEA, sweet, easy to read. The love interests are refreshingly adult figures in this one. There are only childish antics by the others involved. I really like that. It’s a real life journey for the two of them that I totally could have seen myself having–Only my hubby was a one night stand…Lasted me 20+ years though!!!
Sonya creates a wonderful enemies to lovers in this one, however, it isn’t the enemies to lovers where there has been something hurtful between them. No, this is more of a competitive enemy situation. The one-upmanship of their youth has clouded their judgement of one another to the point it feels like they are enemies. In reality they respect a lot about each other, but are unwilling to accept it or voice it.
The Kiss List is just a bullet journal of men she thinks could be her soulmate and Max is just the conduit to figure out which one. Max acts as her wingman to great disappointment. I don’t want to ruin it for anyone, so I’ll leave it there.
If you are into sweet romance and comedy, this one is definitely for you. Sonya’s prose are easy to read and she invents love and romance from everyday things. I mean who really thought a Bullet Journal would bring people together? I certainly didn’t think Bullet Journalling would go this far…Help organize someone, sure; keep a person on track for success, sure; visualize your goals, yes; but romance?!? You’ll have to check it out for yourself to decide. If you want to share your thoughts, we’d love to hear them in the comments.
This is definitely a 4 of 5 because as you know, it’s hitting me in all the right places. In all fairness, I’ve had a rough week, so this was soothing to my soul.
This was a sweet, short romance. There was a lot of cute banter between the two characters, Haley and Max, who had known one another since childhood and had become stuck in the rut of squabbling frenemies. The story is a clean romance, with just a few kisses. I thought the premise was a little silly, to be honest. Haley compiles a list of former flames to kiss, with the notion that one of them will be her soul mate. And then she convinces Max to help her out. It wasn’t very plausible, but the bickering between the two made up for it. Recommended.
For some reason, I could not connect with the characters. She got on my last nerve. Not a story I really enjoyed.
The Kiss List!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I loved that Hailey and Max had a past of constant bickering, and eventually figured out they each had a crush on the other for years. But Max needs to get a partnership in Haley’s father’s business and he needs Haley’s agreement to get it. After he accidentally pours a beer over Haley, she deems it necessary that he help her re-meet with her old boyfriends to find her One True Love just as her parents had done. But the list of possible OTL’s, requires that Haley will discover The One by kissing these men; hence the kiss list.
But the more Haley and Max spend time together, the more they are drawn to each other. Max can’t understand how these men that he’s trying to set up with Haley, don’t see her as HEA material, or how Haley could see them as her OTL. It becomes obvious to everyone, that they are meant for each other, and it is fun to watch them figure out their journey to their HEA.
Overall, this was a very fun, well-written book, with great secondary characters (some of which I hope will get their own love story).

Sonya Weiss succeeded to offer us a very pleasant journey to the couple's HEA. Even if we know what to expect, the way of its delivery manages to keep us involved in their tribulations.
The happenings are mixed with both the main characters' thoughts in a manner that doesn't hinder the good rhythm that started from the first sentences. Also, even if their thoughts are (always) about the same issues, they don't become annoying by repetition, the author finding ways to maintain their novelty and freshness.
Interlaced with the messages about true love and soul-mate matters, there are messages about the importance of our roots and family. They play a subtle but important role in lovers' happiness and ours. The respective scenes and circumstances bring the necessary nuances to the big picture influencing the possible outcomes. Kiss List is a "small- town" romance, a subgenre that has not only fans but also critics as is considered by some to be anti-feminist, too sweet for our today reality, etc. Kiss List is set in a small-town, plays within the atmosphere of a... small town but the criticisms of its subgenre cannot be brought against it.
There one or two aspects (mostly only one) that I would have preferred differently, but, in short, I liked Kiss List. Sonya Weiss proved that what so-called "clean" romances can outshine the stories where more or less explicit scenes are "needed"... to contour the true-love... which, by the way, exists!
Enjoy!
What a sweet, wholesome story of enemies to friends to soul mates! I loved the banter between Haley and Max! Never a dull moment with these two. But underneath such crazy sarcasm bloomed a genuine admiration, quiet attraction, and beautiful connection. I especially loved the moments between Haley and her dad. Those were emotional and brought a tear to my touched heart. I am glad the angst did not last long and hopefully this book set up future stories for other characters that I would love a happy ending for.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the publisher through Netgalley.
This is my first book by the author and I enjoyed it. It had a lovely story, fun characters and a very cute plot. It is very much a romcom and more into the romcon than on the romance in my opinion. The couple doesn't even date or get together until close to the end.
The idea behind this story is that Max and Haley grew up together and fought like cats and dogs. While they were not friends at all, they did care about each others family and they did work together. And this story is about Haley being ready to get married and find her forever. Growing up her mother told her the story of how she knew she found her husband was with a magical kiss. Madame Celeste, the local fortune teller has told her that the key to her forever man is to look at the past.
Ans so she compiles a list of her exes and asks Max to help her arrange dates with the guys. Max has had a rough romantic history. The only woman he loved fell for his brother and cheated on him and the brother is moving back so he wants to leave the family business and work for Haley's family but he first needs her to agree to work with him and so he agrees to help her with the Kiss List.
This story is two fold, Max has to learn to love again and trust another woman after what his brother and ex did and Haley has to find the man she was always intended to be with. It was a sweet story and it was beautifully told. However I wanted a little more romance and seeing how their relationship goes as they date and we got to the point where they confess their feelings but we didn't really get to really explore the after the relationship begins. It was more of a summary. Beyond that I really enjoyed this story and recommend it.
After the very public demise of her last relationship in spectacular fashion Haley has returned to her hometown and back to her roots. Between her mother’s advice and the advice of a fortune teller Haley has created a list of ex-boyfriends to kiss as she believes that one of them is her soulmate.
Max works with Haley’s father and he and Haley have been like oil and water since they were teenagers. They have come to a mutually beneficial arrangement when it comes to the Kiss List, but the surprise may be on them when what they have been looking for is right in front of them.
Max and Haley have a way of knowing exactly how to get a rise out of each other which is what makes their interactions so humorous. Due to their pasts they are both cautious about exploring a relationship with each other but the only people in town who realize they aren’t perfect for each other is themselves.
I really liked this story a lot but I was close to dnf’ing the book at about 35% because I had difficulty feeling any connection between the two main characters and I thought they were really annoying and immature. But I kept on reading and found out that as I saw it the dislike between them was deliberately over done so that it became really clear when they started to look at each other definitely. And after the 35 % I started to fall in love with the story and all the characters.
I really loved Haley and Max’s banter, their little inside jokes and their playfulness towards each other. They are also both very headstrong and stubborn towards each other but also towards family members and people who hurt them in some way. I just ended up really loving them and I am happy that I read on.
Haley is very romantically inclined and after being broken up with on a viral video she returns home to her hometown and to find her soulmate. She makes a kiss list of her ex-boyfriends because the town fortune teller told her to look in the past to find her soulmate. Haley and Max has always hated each other but she talks him into helping her with the list and getting her the date she needs.
Slowly they start spending more and more time together and slowly they figure out that there might be other feelings than hate between them even though they won’t admit it.
The story is set in fall and wintertime and their workplace is at her fathers shop where they make Christmas ornaments, sleighs, they have Christmas trees and they also make toys for poor kids who needs some joy and happiness in their lives. It is so sweet to read about.
I can definitely recommend this book and please don’t give up on it because you will love it.

Max and Haley have been on opposite ends since childhood. She has always wanted her one true love and with her cousins upcoming wedding she has put together a list to find him. Max is her way into meeting these guys but it comes with a price but the more time she spends with him the more their feelings are beginning to blur. Could it be her true love was always close by all alone in the form of someone she sees as a nemesis? This story will call to your romantic side with all the antics of Max and Haley. I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
This is a swoon worthy romance story which will have you hooked from the first page. This is a enemies to lovers romance story. This book follows the characters Haley nd Max, they were well written and very easy to fall in love with. This story flowed really well and kept you reading long into the night.

The Kiss List was an adorable and sweet book. Haley and Max grew up disliking each other, but when she comes back to town everything is about to change.
The plot moved quickly but doesn't feel like it's missing anything since the story set up means they are together all the time. I also liked it as they moved from arguing to teasing banter. It was easy to see how things changed in their relationship and that there might have been feelings well before they realized it.
Funny, sweet, charming, witty are just a few of the wonderful words I could use to describe this story. It is truly a delightful read. Haley is back in her small hometown after a very public and disastrous breakup. Her arc nemesis Sam is still working with her dad. They form a pact that has them spending a lot of time together. Their interactions are filled with fun squabbling. You will laugh at all the ways they try to irritate each other as they journey on their way to love.
This book took a while to warm up to me... I don't know why. I've put it aside probably about two times and read another... but I got back to it and started to read it again... The first few chapters were slow... but as turned it page after pager, it was actually funny. Sort of like a person who has a hard time mingling with people in the beginning... It's what you usually find in the Hallmark channel. Nothing too risqué or anything... it's a sweet, funny small town enemies to lovers romance.
3.5 stars - The Kiss List is a nice, clean enemies to lovers romance. The heroine, Haley, is the girl next door type who had a very public break-up and is now looking for love. The hero, Max, is a stand-up guy. He and Haley have always competed against one another, and it’s pretty obvious that if they stop bickering for 5 mins, they’ll fall head first into love. It’s an easy, though meandering thus longer than it needs to be, read.

The Kiss List by Sonya Weiss is a swoony worthy romance that is sure to pull you in from the beginning. A story of enemies to lovers that is sure to take you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. Sonya Weiss writes a lovely romance with well-written characters that are easy to relate to. I did not want to put this one down.
Haley’s parents knew they were meant for each other at their first kiss, so Haley is going to use the same method to find her soul mate. She makes a list of all her exes she needs to kiss. Because of a video of her breaking up with her ex went viral, she needs someone to pave way for her to meet the guys on her list. And the best person is Max, her childhood nemesis. Max agrees to help her on the condition that he is made partner in Haley’s family business. As they spend time together they realize there is more to the other than they thought and hate is not the only emotion they feel for each other.
Haley and Max’s journey is very sweet and funny. A clean romance with a lot of laugh out loud moments thanks to the banter between Haley and Max and some of the frogs on Haley’s kiss list. Overall a delightful read.
Hate changes to love!
Haley Bowman made a list of every local guy she had dated because her parents knew they were true loves after the first kiss and she wanted to find love so she needed to kiss a lot of local guys. One local guy not on the list was Max Gallagher who wanted to be a partner in the Bowman family business. Max said he would help check out the guys on the list so Haley would sign off on the partnership. Max needed it so he could quit working at the family coffee shop. Haley didn’t want Max’s help but she slowly realized that there was more to Max than she thought.
The Kiss List is definitely all about where hate changes to a not-so-sure what to think slowly to maybe there is something there. That journey of love is a cute romantic story where two people that originally dislike each other slowly figure out that they are really in love.

A fun and entertaining read.
Max and Haley have been enemies since school. She is back in town after years away and now she needs his help with her kiss list, her plan to find her soul mate.
As they spend more time together they start to fall for each other, but will either of them dare to admit it?
