I so adore Trinity Blacio's books from the very first I read to this one I just finished. Be they quick novellas or full novels I enjoy the characters as well as the storyline.
I'm sure we have all experienced prejudice in some way or form, the sweet little miss feels it heavy and tries to compensate as she tries to fit in a new world.
Three males all alpha's in their own right are tasked with helping form a new world as well as protect it, you throw in the mix a sweet something that they try to corral and get to listen.
A novella, fast and sexy a great start to the series.
This is book one in a new series, The Laws of love. This is your typical Trinity Blacio series with a woman who acquires several mates. Tara is an alien who has three mates who are also alien. The book touches on discrimination. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.
Tara never expected that change would be coming her way. She never expected that leaving her home would lead her to her mates. Now can they accept her as she is?
Restraining Tara's Love is the first installment in Trinity Blacio's The Law of Love series. This is a spin-off of her Running in Fear series and would be helpful in enjoying this quick read. I loved getting to know Tara better. She is an outsider trying to fit in. I love that her men struggle to understand her even as she learns to be cherished. I love that the women continue to show support with a sense of fun as they help Tara learn her new world. Ms. Blacio didn't make it easy as her men must learn Tara's traditions while making their world safe for all. That is even as they learn to work together not only as mates to Tara but also as leaders of their pack. I loved seeing them learn that communication is the key even as they find their footing. I love that Ms. Blacio is expanding a world that I have grown to love. And I cannot wait to see where she will take us next.
It was fun and flirty, but not one of the best books I have read, it was nice enough but not so much I need to know what happens next
Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for a free copy for an honest opinion
This is a snippet from a larger series, that I have not read previously. It was hard to follow exactly what had happened in the past and how the characters related to everything in this story. The writing was ok and I'm curious if it got better if you started form the beginning - but I didn't give it 5 stars as it didn't make me curious enough to back read.
The book starts out with an adult baby shower, and i mean adult! A fun read with a story from The Laws of Love Series. A great read and as always cannot wait for more!
Very short story that brings us back to the world of the Running Scared series. Some have come back to earth trying to rebuild.
Struggled a bit with this one. Tara and her alien lovers are the start of a spin-off series. It is possible that is what I had a problem with, but just couldn't seem to get into this one. Have liked her stories in the past, and it may just have been me. Would still recommend.
This is Tara, Ralph, Grant and Seth’s story. Tara is from a different world. She is trying to fit in and getting to know her mates. Her mates want her to follow the rules. There is Bdsm. The book was very fast reading. I can’t wait for the next one in the series.
This book is a great kick-off to a new series! Tara is an alien and therefore different in looks from those around her. Mated to three men, can they make it work against all the adversity?
I loved the characters and the book! I am looking forward to reading much more about them, and the world they live in.
This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.
When I looked at reviewing this book, I saw that it was the first in a spin-off series so I took a chance and picked it. I really think that knowing a bit more about the back story would have been helpful! I felt like I was in the middle of a story and kind of lost to start with. It took me a bit to understand that something happened to destroy people and homes and the three guys were trying to rebuild after this disaster. I would suggest a little prologue for people like me that are new to the series, to help get readers "caught up" to what is happening.
What I read was interesting and wished I had read previous books in this series as it sounds like an alien invasion! I never did understand what kind of alien Tara was just that she was blue skinned and needed blood so maybe an alien vampire??
I definitely would be interested in reading more as this group rebuilds and learn when and where Alexander finds his mate!
A fun, and short new series spin-off from the Running in Fear series. If you can overlook major editing problems, you will enjoy this short story. Be warned that there is not a lot of explanation of previous problems if you are NOT familiar with the previous novels in the Running in Fear series.
Great start to a new series. Tara knows those around her don’t trust her because of the color of her skin. What do her makes feel? Fast-paced read with plenty of drama and steam. I was hooked from beginning to end of this fast-paced read.
Tara Yoo was surrounded by many who didn’t trust her because of the color of her skin, and that was scary enough on a day-to-day level. When I started reading I couldn't put it down.Trinity Blacio is magnifysent and amazing writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book. Can't wait for the next book.
Enjoyed the story, it is the start of a new series that is a spin off of the Running in Fear Series. Groups are coming back to Earth to reclaim and repopulate the far north east. Tara who has wanted the type of mates that could love her for who she was in spite of the odd color of her skin, finds what she has been searching for in Ralph, Grant and Seth. The story is well written, entertaining and worth reading.
