Super Foods for Super Kids Cookbook by Noelle Martin, MScFN, RD is a good introduction to healthy foods and to cooking. I think it introduces both of those pretty equally, which was a bit of a surprise to me. As a result, I think it is perfect for a child who never has worked in a kitchen before. The recipes seem good and child friendly. I am excited to try some of them with my son. I received a digital copy of this book from the publisher with no obligations. These opinions are entirely my own.

This book puts fun and knowledge into the hands of young chefs (which, as a mom, I highly approve of...kids have to learn to cook sometime). Because it is fun and different from a regular cookbook, I think that kids and students are more likely to "connect" with this book.

Written for ages 8-12, this cookbook is focused on helping children create foods that fuel their bodies “with good energy to play, learn and grow”. There’s a child friendly explanation of what superfoods are and how they fall into the superfood category. There is also a great breakdown of some basic cooking skills so that even a first timer in the kitchen can follow along.

No nutritional breakdown, which is where the book loses its star. Particularly in a book aimed towards children just learning to cook, that helpful piece is key.

This is a wonderful resource for families. The recipes and the layout were great. My kids love to help in the kitchen and are picky eaters so I am always looking for ways to get them to eat better. This book offers great recipes and is made for kids on their level. It contains lots of pictures which are a must for me in cookbooks.

Superfoods for Super Kids Cookbook by Noelle Martin is a fun cookbook for kids and parents alike. With lessons on how to use a knife, kitchen tools, cookware and bakeware, and appliances.
There are 50 delicious sounding recipes in the book with each recipe having tips for the kids. Breakfast, snacks, lunch, dinner and dessert recipes the child and the kid in you should find something to like. Plus the recipes are healthy, and the kids may not even realize it!

What are superfoods? Nuts, beans, avocados, lentils, kale, and tomatoes. I looked at a few of the recipes and found one that piqued my interest right away. Peaches and Cream Smoothie, it has cauliflower in it, who knew?

I think that this is a fun cookbook to share with the family!

I liked that there is quite a wide variety of recipes to choose from that are both easy to make and are healthy. The lack of recipe photos was a bit disappointing, but still a good cookbook. I thank Netgalley and Callisto Publisher's Group for the opportunity to read and review this book.

I loved this book, not only for myself, but for my own family and my cooking students. I think this may be A stretch some picky eaters. However, since it is geared for kids, they may be more likely to try something they have prepared. I think any family kitchen could use this book. Love the photos and the clear explanations of each recipe step.

While I am not the target audience for this book; I absolutely loved it. My husband and I are picky eaters and I often joke that we have the diet of children. This book gave me so many ideas that I actually wanted to try. I love the way this book is geared towards kids, but I even learned a few tips and tricks as someone newer to the kitchen. Excited to try many of these recipes in the coming weeks!
