Women rage is very on point at the moment and this book hits all the right notes. 3 women bent on revenge where’s there’s smoke there’s fire 4⭐️

This was a juicy little domestic thriller that was quite good and kept me interested the entire way through.

Told through the viewpoints of 3 different characters, all connected to the same marketing firm in some capacity, helped to add a lot of depth to the story and they intertwined well throughout. There were times when the story felt a bit slow and there wasn't much going on, but that didn't last very long and the story picked up soon enough.

I was certain I had this one figured out about 3/4 of the way through, but I was pleasantly surprised by a much deeper final act that gave the character's stories so much more gravity and was very satisfying.

Overall all the characters that were highlighted had depth, were somewhat easy to root for (Laura was one I did struggle with for a while until the pieces started falling into place), and proved important to the overall story, and I very much enjoyed this story!

A fire at an office building brings the police questioning who might of committed arson. Meanwhile, each of the main characters is holding her own deep, dark secrets. This was a decent suspense. The dual time period and multiple narrators worked successfully. I was hoping for a little more something at the end to nudge it from 3 stars up. Still, a mildly entertaining read.

The premise of a new mother returning to work is a relatable one. However, Three Perfect Liars must shed more light on women's empowerment or work-life balance. Instead, the story relies on the generic cattiness tripe portrayal of women. There is no tension. The multiple points of view told through interviews are repetitive and unnecessary. The pace is slow, and the ending is predictable. Disappointing.

I’m not sure how I feel about this one still. I liked it while I was reading it but I found it very forgettable. I did really like the characters and the story line.

A story about three different women who all end up working at the same company and when a fire destroys that company the police need to interview each one. You get a look at the story from each of their perspectives and the police interviews. A good story but at times it dragged for me.

Laura is a new mom, who returns to work following her maternity. Prior to leaving, she hired a temp to cover her job, only to find her still there. Not only is the temp still there, she has taken over Laura’s largest client.

Suddenly, Laura is fixated on who this person is, and why she is taking over. Rather than focus on her son and family - she spends her time focused on taking the temp down.

This was an enjoyable read!

The different POVs in this book help to develop the plot & characters. I enjoyed reading this book. I look forward to reading more from Heidi Perks.

First time I have read Heidi and I don’t think it will be the last! This book kept me guessing from start to finish and I finished it in a matter of days— I couldn’t get enough!

An advertising agency has been burned to the ground. There are three women suspected of the crime. I thought the plot was pretty interesting and was intrigued to find out what happened. The story was a bit of a slow burn and I think the story drug out a bit. . None of the women were likeable but I think Laura annoyed me the most.
This was my first book by Heidi Perks - I would read another book by her - This one was an average read for me - I'm glad I finally got to read it.

Thank you so much to met galley for sending me a copy of this book. I think this book had so many great elements but but just read like a cozy mystery? I don’t know I just didn’t feel good about that.

I finally got around to reading this and wish I had read it sooner. The beginning chapter sets up the mystery -- who burned down the office building of a successful ad agency? Then the story is told in flashbacks and police interviews (from after the fire). There are three women, all with equal motive and opportunity -- which one is the guilty party?

The suspense is gripping and the story is carefully revealed in bits and pieces. All throughout I wasn't sure which one was the culprit -- the successful ad executive struggling with returning to work after having a baby, the "conniving" up and comer who has taken her place as favored employee, or the owner's wife who is dealing with a failing marriage and something from her past that has haunted her. All will be revealed and (as the reader suspects all along) the story is not as simple as it seems -- all three have secrets they don't want revealed.

I enjoyed this book very much despite the fact that I figured out the "surprise" long before the big reveal. Oh, well. The writing kept me glued to the pages and each character is fully developed to the point that I could easily empathize with each of them. While it's not the very best suspense/mystery I've read this year, it's a worthy effort and a worthwhile read.

This was a wonderful exhilarating read. As a mother of three and a former lawyer, I really enjoyed the depiction of motherhood and working as a lawyer. The different women Laura and Mia are wonderfully depicted and the plot was exhilarating! Five stars!

A solid thriller with alternating timelines and engaging excerpts from police interviews etc. A ton of secrets which is always fun too.

From the very first chapter we see that revenge and unhappiness are going to play a huge part in the storyline of this book. While we read thischapter from the perspective of the person who "did the deed", we have no idea who it might be. Through the rest of the book the storyline develops as we visit the lives of three women, Laura, Mia and Janey. Each has their own secret or something in their past they are not proud of; each has a family they are responsible for. Through the police interviews with employees and families we learn more about these three women and why they could be considered suspects. The animosity among them is very evident and the yearly company party brings it all to a head. The characters are well-developed and while the reader may not like any of them overly much, they each also have reasons that elicit compassion.. So how do we determine which of the three women is lying and who is telling the truth? The suspicions change as the story unfolds to developments and background we don't see coming and suspense grows for the final outcome. Thank you to NetGalley and Gallery Books for the opportunity to read and review this advance reader copy. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own. #NetGalley #ThrePerfectLiars

Three Perfect Liars is told from alternating perspectives, including those of the three women. This story also gives us the police interviews with various employees following the fire. The characters were well written. I thought I had the story figured out but not totally so that was good. Overall I thought this was a pretty average story. I don't think it will be one that sticks with me though.

Thank you Heidi Perks and NetGallery for the chance to read this book!

This book was just okay for me. I didn't find the main character Laura to be very likable. She just kept obsessing over Mia and how she stayed at the job. I felt for her in the beginning but she seemed very bitter. I also found the plot predictable, I didn't saw certain things coming. The big plot twist at the end was a surprise for me, I however found it unrealistic. The novel did keep me guessing enough about who started the fire to keep reading, I was curious. But overall, the book was just okay to me.
