My opinion is not the norm. I tired to like this book. I even tired reading it over and over
I just couldn't. It just didn't click with me.

The beginning was good and I had high hopes. They soon got shot down. The three were petty, immature and they annoyed me. The talked so much about maternity leave, having a career and being a mother, and trying to balance the two. I think I just got bored and when a book bores me, I just close it and move on.

As I said, my opinion is not the norm, you may love the book. Thanks to Netgalley for the Kindle Version of the book. All thoughts and opinions are my own

Wow, what an addicting and spectacular read! This would make for one heck of a TV series.

The book begins at the scene of a fire. A building that was assumed to be empty but it wasn't. One person dies in the fire and another escapes with serious injuries.

The book continues with the story of three women (Mia, Laura and Janie). Women with secrets, past and present and the story goes back and forth from before the fire to after the fire.

Laura, who has been on maternity leave for six months has just returned to work. Her husband, Nate, staying home to take care of the baby. Mia is the temp while Laura was on maternity leave. Laura, upon her return, finds out that Mia now has a permanent position with the company. Laura doesn't trust Mia and thinks she is hiding something, and she is determined to the point of obsession to find out what that something is.

Janie is the wife of the CEO. She gave up her huge career as a defense barrister in London, uplifting her family, to support her husband in his new venture in Lymington. Laura, also has secrets and a troubled past. Filled with lots of twists and lies, this book will not disappoint.

THREE PERFECT LIARS was a solid sophomore novel from the author who brought us HER ONE MISTAKE. Though this story is well crafted and the plot is intriguing, her first book still stands as my favorite.

Three women are connected through Harry, the owner of an advertising agency. Laura is his “star” employee, just back from maternity leave. Mia is the newbie who filled in for Laura when she was out and Janie is Harry’s wife. The three women are linked by something that’s happened which ended up with the advertising burning down. This book was a little slow to me, so only a three star read.

Great story line, grabbed my attention and held it. The ending just wasn't complete for me. I hate endings that leave you hanging.

The 3 female characters all want one thing, revenge. They all get it in a way, but who gets the most? Not who you think. I loved Laura the most, trying to balance a career and a family.
Mia is broken and sad...but such a good character!thanks for the ARC Netgalley!

Excellent book!!! I really enjoyed this book. Well written and kept me guessing until the end. Very good read. Highly recommended. Thanks to Netgalley, the author and the publisher for the arc of this book in return for my honest review. Receiving the book in this manner had no bearing on this review.

Wow Loved this one! I'm only sorry it took me so long to finally read it! It lured me in from start to finish; a real page turner. That's an enjoyable book and earns five stars from me.
This story revolves around three ambitious women; Janey stay at home mom married to Harry Wood (she's a lawyer), and two advertising execs (Mia and Laura) who work for a very successful advertising agency run by Harry Wood the CEO.
Laura is on maternity leave and hired a temporary worker named Mia to cover her position (cover her biggest account) until she returns in six months. The story takes off from there. Great story development, great characters! I loved this kindle book so much I bought the Audible version, so when I couldn't read I could listen. Great narrators Sara Poyzer, Rupert Farley and Olivia Darnley. All three were fabulous. I highly recommend this cook or audible book to anyone who enjoys a good mystery, suspense and thriller genre. A very special thank you to for the advanced readers copy in exchange for my honest review.

This came as advertised! The lives of three women are turned upside down when a horrific fire destroys their advertising agency and exposes the lies they've been trying to keep covered. I connected with Laura immediately- I'm also a new mother (though my baby is about to be one! Ah!) and I really related to that feeling of wanting nothing more than to be with your kid, but also the longing of being the employee you used to be. In books like these, sometimes it's hard to keep track of all of the players, but I couldn't turn the pages fast enough with this one. I wasn't sure who was telling the truth and who was lying, but that was part of the fun. It's a great story about women in the workplace and the lengths we have to go to to keep everything in our lives going.

Good story with a little twist at the end. I was guessing up to then who set the fire! These women were all good suspects! It was a well written, quick book that certainly entertained me.

Three Perfect Liars jumps on the domestic thriller train, which seems to be all the rage these days. I'll admit, some domestic thrillers work for me and some don't. This one does for the most part. The characters, while not always likable, are certainly intriguing, and these women definitely have plenty of lies between them. The story is told from the perspectives of the three women, and it is compelling all the way to the end, which is the only place it falls short. It's not a bad ending, it's just not what I would've expected. It kind of felt a little too easy, I guess. Nevertheless, it was still a solid domestic thriller and definitely worth the read.

This was a book with excellent writing.. truly, I was amazed at how great Heidi Perks put this story together. It wasn't the most original story but still really interesting and I think her ability to tell the story is what made me such a big fan.

This was not a story that was easy to figure out because a lot of details were held close to the chest. As I said before, it sometimes felt like you were missing out on something but I think that was very intentional to try and keep you on your toes. That's why the ending wasn't random and made total sense -- because there were Easter eggs thrown in throughout. It was really wonderful.

"Three Liars" wasn't my favorite book but it was a really great book and I do recommend it! If you're someone who enjoys mystery but doesn't like a lot of graphic content, this is the book for you.

Three women with three different secrets. That statement alone is enough to make you run in the other direction. Especially when all three will stop at nothing to keep theirs from meeting the light of day.

Laura thought she could handle everything. Her husband is staying home with their child so returning to work should be a breeze...right?

Nothing is as Laura expected it once she returned back to the office. The inept tempe she hired is suddenly her equal and head of all her accounts. The one person she didn't think she should feel threatened by. The one person she felt like she could trust.

Feeling turned out and beaten down, Laura struggles to balance work and home life as she tries to prove that she's the better fit and that Mia isn't whom she is claiming to be.

A twisting and thought provoking story. It will leave you questioning just who you can trust.

2.5 stars.

The plot was decent, but it was just such a slow burn. (Which ultimately made this a book I struggled to want to pick up and keep reading.) It just felt like there were a lot of filler paragraphs that should have been edited out because they didn’t contribute much to the story. And it didn’t help that all of the characters were annoying - I truly found it hard to like any one of them. The twist was good, but quite predictable. Lastly, it could have definitely ended sooner.

I will still read more of Perks’ work, because I heard good things about her previous book, “Her One Mistake.” But all in all, this book just didn’t do it for me.

Thank you, nonetheless, to Gallery Books & NetGalley for providing me with a copy of the e-book in exchange for an honest review.

This was a really quick read for me. The concept was really great but the execution... lacked. There was just something missing that definitely took away what should have been the "wow" factor.

This was an interesting story. After having a baby and her maternity leave, Laura returns to work to find that Mia, who was supposed to be only Laura's temporary replacement, looks like she will remain a fixture at her advertising firm. Laura is used to being the favorite of Harry Wood, the firm's CEO, but now Mia seems to have become his new top employee. And Harry's wife, Janie, who has long supported Harry, is also beginning to question her husband. For all three, things aren't what they appear and, when a fire destroys much of the firm's headquarters, the secrets that have long remained hidden threaten to come to light and show things aren't quite what they seem.

This story kept me guessing and fully engaged. I enjoyed this one. Recommended!

This was a 3.5 star read for me. It was a quick read, but there were a lot of plot holes and questions left unanswered. Three women become linked when a fire breaks out at a fairly new advertising office. A lot of motives for the fire are initially revealed and then when the ending is revealed, its a bit of a head scratcher. Mia, Laura and Janie all could have been the culprit ...

There were some holes in the plot with Laura - what exactly happened the night of the fire? We don't know because it was left completely unanswered ... unless there were pages missing from my book? A whole chapter, perhaps?

Ehhh this book was promising. In the early stages it had a Liane Moriarty type feel to it, which I really liked, but the further it got, the less compelling it was, and I feel like the twist at the end came out of nowhere and left me feeling really underwhelmed and dissatisfied.

Good story with Mystery and suspense. I enjoyed the three main characters and how their story's were interconnected. I was left guessing what would happen next. I received an ARC from NetGalley and the Publisher and this is my honest opinion.

Actual Rating: 3.5

Beautiful cover aside, Three Perfect Liars gripped me with its promise of a whodunnit told through alternating perspectives of secretive narrators. There's Laura, who returns from maternity leave to find her position stolen. Her replacement, Mia, is everything Laura's not — likeable, fun. But she's there for other reasons. And then there's Janie, the wife of the agency's CEO. When the company building goes up in flames one evening, secrets are unearthed.

I kind of had mixed feelings on the plot itself, which sort of bounced between interesting and predictable. The first half talked a lot about tensions in the office amid Laura's return, and while I liked that pressure, it got repetitive and old fast; the second half was focused more on the actual reveal, and while I was interested in seeing how the stories of the three women would be weaved together, ultimately the story that was behind it all was similar to a plotline I've seen in other books in this genre.

Funny enough, the character that annoyed me the most was also the one that I connected to the most — Laura. The cycle of her aggression towards Mia, annoyance towards her husband, and scorn towards her boss seemed to go on and on, and yet she had the clearest backstory and reasoning. Mia was a little hard to read and place in the story, and honestly, I felt as though Janie had a very marginal role, the most boring perspectives, and a passive role in the story up until the very end. With all that being said, this isn't a character-driven book (it's more event-driven) and for that reason I couldn't really connect to the characters emotionally.

The writing style was good. My usual aversion to multiple-perspective and dual timeline books reared its ugly head in this book that had BOTH of them; I enjoyed some chapters much more than others, but I'm still happy to say that I was never lost or confused because of it.

Overall, this was still a good read, probably best suited for those interested in contemporary mysteries and new adult fiction.
