I have read a lot from this author and each time she blows me away. I love the chemistry and the way the characters are together. This one did not disappoint.

Not exactly enemies to lovers, but pretty close. Abbie and Temper had a standing non-relationship that was good. Temper would ask her out, she would say no and they would part – on good terms. That all changed when Abbie finally said yes – after the one time he didn’t ask her at all. They spent one of the most romantic nights of Abbie’s life, until it ended with her being held hostage – for her own safety.

Minus the kidnapping and obvious danger, this was one of the more fun reads so far in the Knights of Fury series. It was nice seeing how the previous couples were doing and watching the “girls” take Abbie under their wing. It helped Abbie understand the MC much better and gave her someone to vent to – and she needed to vent – a lot!

There were also a lot of twists and turns in Temper along with some pretty surprising revelations that I didn’t see coming. Also, this story was told from Abbie’s POV, which was great, but there were times that I wanted to know what was going on in Temper’s head too… or maybe not? And yeah, these guys are still growing on me – to the point that I’m actually hoping that there’s more. And no, I didn’t see that coming either. 😉

I have enjoyed my ride with the Knights of Fury so far and Temper was no exception! Temper definitely does have that, a temper however he is also as sweet as they come. For a tough MC president who has to be on his game he sure has a romantic side. Temper finds himself over the moon for a younger Abbie. Abbie has put her life on hold for everyone around her and finally gets the adventure she desires when she joins up with the Knights of Fury motorcycle club. Great addition to this series!

TEMPER is a motorcycle club Knights of Fury book filled with romance, danger and intrigue, but it is very much a story of a family. These people might be a little different than most families ... or are they? You will need to read TEMPER for yourselves to decide, but I am a sucker for books that have families of the heart, so I was quickly swept up in this vibe.

Ahh, I love getting back into the Knights of Fury world! These MC books are super hot and full of all of the fun situations that you come to expect with MC romances, I will say that it is a bit more on the lighter side and not as much intense and nitty gritty as other MC reads.

Temper is the Pres of the Knights of Fury and that means he has to make some serious decisions and always be "on". With this book we find out that he has a bit of a crush on a homegrown waitress. After asking Abbie out for 5 years, he has come to expect her to say no, but what happens when she says yes? All heck breaks loose- literally! You are going to have to read to see exactly what goes down! ;)

All in all this is a bit of a crazy story, but makes for an entertaining read that has an alpha male lead with a strong, but soft leading lady. If you like MC romances that have a good amount of action, but not too dark, I recommend checking out this book and series! I give it 4 outta 5 stars!

PS: I would like to thank Chantal Fernando and Wildfire Marketing Solutions for allowing me an advanced copy of the book to read and review honestly.

Chantal Fernando Alert! She release another book, and I am digging it.
Temper is a short romance read but it definitely does not feel like that. Temper finally found someone but their date goes totally wrong. I cannot blame Abbie to be mad with him. If someone tries to kidnap me, I will definitely be bitch about it. Like no, you cannot kidnap after I witness something. C’mon, but that’s the MC life for you. And Abbie rolls with it after some time.
I think Abbie is a true match for Temper. She balances him out especially with her smart sassy. I really enjoy those scenes. It makes me crack up.
Totally expect some drama. Loose ends are never dead. It always come back especially with this MC.

Not having read the previous installments in the Knights of Fury MC series had me concerned that I might feel left out when reading this book, but since MC-themed romances are my obsession I forged ahead wholeheartedly. And what I found was an enjoyable tale, a bit predictable a time or two but no less entertaining courtesy of an appealing main couple. Bartender Abbie has led Temper on a merry chase for five years of him asking her out and her saying no...until the one night where she says yes and which takes her on an exhilarating motorcycle ride away from danger and straight towards HEA. From the first page to the last theirs is a sizzling journey, with a few speed bumps along the way, that kept me frantically turning the pages to see where fate took them next.

Abbie’s an immensely likable heroine. She was once on her way to becoming a lawyer before her mother’s health issues had her running the family bar instead. She’s set her dreams aside in order for her sister to live her own life and is the caretaker to a mother who doesn’t appreciate the sacrifices she’s made near enough. Abbie’s just going through the motions of living, putting everyone and everything ahead of herself, except for those rare nights when the sexy biker Temper comes calling. He’s given her a chance to break out of her shell over the last five years and she’s said no...until the night she throws caution to the wind in saying yes. What starts off as a regular dinner out soon ends in a hail of bullets and blood. To keep her safe though Temper brings her fully into his world and from there she discovers an untapped well of inner strength that made her the perfect addition to Temper’s world. Being with the men and women of the Knights of Fury brings Abbie newfound confidence, makes her a strong support to Temper, and I enjoyed seeing the weight of the world lifted off her just when she needed strength the most.

Temper’s truly a temptation when this story starts, giving Abbie a glimpse of freedom whenever he shows up at the bar and I can’t imagine how hard it must have been to tell him no so many times. Temper’s a bit older than Abbie but has no problem making me drool as he exudes sexiness. Below that is something even more appealing...a kind and caring heart that’s easily on display when he’s with Abbie. Though he wants to impress her on their first date, he’s left no choice but to kidnap her to keep her safe after she sees something she shouldn’t. I thoroughly enjoyed the dichotomy of control and kindheartedness surrounding Temper, found him and his actions decadently delightful. He and Abbie were a match made in heaven and the longer they were together the more formidable their pairing became in a story full of exciting twists and turns.

On a whole this was a very satisfying read with a good balance of steam and suspense. Abbie was a likable heroine who grew stronger with each turn of the page. She made a new life for herself amongst the members of the MC, found a new family who unconditionally appreciated all that she was, and her personal journey had me cheering. Temper’s a dirty white knight with a hidden heart of gold whose connection to Abbie jumped off the pages and had me holding on for dear life, both in and out of the bedroom. While this storyline is nothing new, it was presented in a way that pulls readers into this couple’s world, from the exciting drama to the appealing secondary characters. Into a genre that’s already a bit crowded, Ms. Fernando has nicely set up shop with this exhilarating ride into the sunset that has me waiting to see what comes next.

Abbie feels stuck after withdrawing from college to take care of her mother and the family bar. So, when Temper, the president of a MC asks her out for a date, she accepts wanting to live a little. This is a surprise to Temper since for the last five years Abbie has refused his offer, so he’s not about to pass up this chance and endeavors to make a special night of it. Abbie feels swept off her feet right until the very end when hell breaks loose.

Temper was a pretty tame MC romance, which I appreciated because I’m not a fan of the really gritty ones, and the romance was relatively angst free. I liked the age gap between Temper and Abbie, it seemed to work for them. I was also happy she fit in well with Temper’s Club members and significant others. The drama with club was a little far-fetched but entertaining even so.

Thanks so much to the publisher for an ARC to read and give my honest opinion. Love MC books! I was definitely in the mood for this MC book as it caught my attention and swept me away. Abbie has taken over her mother’s bar and quit schooling while her mother recover’s from stroke. Temper is Knights of Fury President now and twice year for the last five years he has asked Abbie out but she refuses. Now with a bleak outlook she says yes to him for a night of fun that goes further than she imagined.

What did I like? So hot biker repeatedly asks out Abbie until she breaks down and says yes. Love it! However the night does not go according to plans. The chemistry between Temper and Abbie is just nuclear, and the more she stays with him the more Abbie learns stuff about herself that she never knew. This was a fun but quick read and my first in this series. Four fun stars.

Would I recommend or buy? Yes, as far as MC books go this one has it all. The characters were fun and Temper was everything his name says he is. I was really ready for a good MC book and this one fit the description!

Thoughts for the author? Thanks so much for a copy to read and let me give my opinion. Fun book! Congratulations on your new release! Four stars of fun!

MC President Temper who shows no real feelings or even hint of a smile finally ends up on a long waiting date with Abbie. The date with Temper is going well for the Abbie except for the last part where she ends up kidnaped from MC Club. It takes a while for Abbie's blood to cool down. In the meantime, she ends up to know all the members of the club and their special wants, and all the dynamic of the club. Of course, the first attraction with the Temper escalates in an explosion between the sheets. Abbie's relationship with her overprotective mother is on shaky ground, and will she be strong enough to break free? The story is typical in Chantal Fernando style and we have one sassy strong heroine against stubborn strong alpha biker. This story is for me the best from the series. I like the unpredictable factor and all the twists. Both Temper and Abbie are ok and they make a great couple
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley

The alpha president of a motorcycle club and a bartender-turned-badass heroine fall in love and raise a little hell. A schmaltzy romance with thrilling action, TEMPER tells an interesting, but soap-operatic, story about a young woman’s journey to self-discovery.

Temper has been stopping in the same bar on the way home from Vegas for years… every time he asks the sweet faced bartender out and she politely refuses. This year he decides to stop asking… and she decides its time to ask him out!

Abby decides she finally wants to step out of her comfort area and live a little, so when Temper the hot biker presidents shows up, she decides its time for their date. Too bad her one night of rebellion becomes weeks and her life will never be the same.

This was. Fun read. I haven’t read many MC romancing and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I loved the sense of family the MC had. They were a group of misfits, who created their own family and the love they had for each other felt genuine. I know this was a rose filtered view of a MC, but it fit perfectly with Abby and Tempers growing love story and the trust they build together. There was a big age gap between Abby and Temper, but it was done respectfully and played up each characters differences in a way that made them work out well for each other. There was a good amount of action and sex appeal in this book. As usual Carina Press did not disappoint!

If you love MC romances with age gaps, a little suspense, and a great, dynamic couple, this one is right up your alley!

This is the first book I’ve read from this author, so I do believe this one can be read as a complete standalone.

We meet two characters who are just as fierce as they are heart-warming. It’s a dark and twisted book that will capture you as much as they are while also bringing a down-to-earth vibe. Their personalities are wholesome, real, and raw. I’d recommend this one for readers who love well-rounded romances with a real-life feel and dramatic twists.

A 3 out of 5 stars.

I didn't really know what to expect with this story. I haven't read anything by Chantal Fernando so while I was excited about the story after reading the description, I wasn't really sure what to expect. I'm happy to say Temper was awesome! I read it in one go before I got out of bed one morning. It was great. Amazing flow, good writing, and fantastic characters.

Temper has been asking Abbie out two times a year for five years straight. One night Abbie finally says yes and it's the best first date ever, that is until it ends in a shootout and a kidnapping. Abbie's kidnapping. By Temper. Whoops. What happens next is Abbie gets pulled into Temper's world of being an MC and starts finding out who she really is without having to always take care of her mother and sister all the time.

I loved Temper. Abbie started off hating her life a bit and while the adventure Temper takes her on isn't willing in the beginning, has her rethinking her entire life. She wants to finish school and travel and every time she's worked on that she's had to put her dreams on hold due to her mother's fears. I loved Abbie. She was strong and fierce and protective. She cares about everyone without being a pushover.

Temper was such a sweetheart and I think was a nice change of pace from past MC characters we usually get, which are ass holes. Temper wasn't ashamed to show he cared about Abbie and about his club members/family.

Temper was an amazing read and I love this whole story from start to finish.

**4.5 Stars**

Chantal Fernando ended the Knights Of Fury series with a bang! She saved the best for last and trust me when I say, Temper is the best!!! I have been waiting for this book since the beginning of this series, and even though I didn't have to wait too long, the wait was still a killer!

Let it be known, if you haven't yet read Saint or Renegade, you may want to read those books before diving into this one. Yes, Temper's story can technically be read as a standalone. However, these stories are interconnected within one another and some scenes with a chick named Georgia may have you scratching your head wondering what the hell is going on.

Temper is the president of the Knights of Fury MC, basically meaning he has the weight of the world on his shoulders and the safety of his club always on his mind. He didn't ask for the job but unknowing circumstances and the death of his MC President rested the gavel at his feet. If being president of an MC chapter has done anything, it's hardened Temper more than what he was.

But for the past five years he's find a sense of peace in a bar out of state staring into a pair of amber colored eyes. Abbie is his solace and he'll do everything in his power to make her his. Even if it means tying her up and kidnapping her....

I can say this with an honest heart, Temper's story was nothing like I was expecting it. It was so much more!!! Throughout this whole series I loved watching Temper transition from a man with a chip on his shoulder and a shield around his heart to a man who wanted and craved the love of one woman with amber eyes standing behind a bar.

My heart bonded with Abbie right away. Abbie's a woman who shield's her heart from the unknown. She lives her life for others, spending her time taking care of her mother and watching her sister live out her dreams. She's never really done anything for herself and the one thing she did do she ended up giving up for a bit to take care of her mom. So when Temper walks into her bar she decides at the last minute to let her shield down and do something for herself. She finally says yes to a date with Temper....

I'm not even going to lie, I freaking swooned when it came to Temper! This man is everything! He's a protector, he's sweet and he's undeniably sexy as sin. I couldn't get enough.

But what I loved the most, Temper and Abbie are a match made in heaven! She's the calm to his storm. They both would do everything in their power to protect the other, even if it means putting themselves in the crossfire. Their connection and their chemistry is off the chains. Scorching hot and sugary sweet all at the same time.

Overall, I can now say, Temper is one of my favorite novels by Chantal Fernando. I not only loved the heat and loved the passion, I also loved the adrenaline and the suspense that was pumping through this novel. If I wasn't a fan before Temper, which I totally was, I'm a fan now! I'm blown away!!!

Temper is the third book of the Knights of Fury series and I had a good time reading it. Despite having no idea what the two earlier books were about, I was able to get a good grasp of the story and appreciate the solid set of support characters, mainly the two pairs of leads of the earlier books.

This book features a couple with an age gap. Abbie is a bartender who is visited by Temper, an MC president, about once or twice in a year. He keeps on attempting to ask her out — until the day comes that she felt like saying yes.

This book oozed tension and chemistry between the two main characters that it was actually hard to let go of the book. Plus, there is also the action, adventure, and mystery aspect that brings thrill to the table.

The writing style is very attractive and I cannot deny enjoying this fun ride!

I have to admit reading the first two books would make me understand the story flow better. So, I feel like picking them up some time in the future.

This is book three in the series. I haven't read books one or two, but this didn't hinder my enjoyment of this book at all.
Temper is the president of the MC Knights of Fury and Abbie is a small town girl the has been asking out every year for five years on his stop into the bar where her family owns and she works. She has given up college to help out with the bar since her mother is sick. She hasn't seen much of the world and has pretty much put her life on hold. One day, when Temper is back in the bar, she decides to take a chance to go out with him. This will change her life forever as she sees something she shouldn't and has to go back to California with him to the MC clubhouse for her safety.
This is an MC romance and I have read them before, but I would definitely put this one on the softer side. Temper is his nickname, but we didn't see too much of it. Everyone in the story was so "nice" and instantly liked Abbie. There was a little bit of an insta-love, too. There was some violence and drama, but it was handled nice and tidy. This didn't take away my enjoyment of the story, though. I still wanted to read on to see Temper and Abbie get their happy ending.

Thank you to the Harlequin Books/Carina Press for my advanced copy in exchange for my honest review. The electronic book published on April 20, 2020.

I loved this book! I mean a date with a hot biker and a kidnapping all in the first two chapters sets the pace for this steamy read. Chantal Fernando has done it again with this MC. It is the second book in the series I read but I am certainly going back and reading the one I missed.

Twice a year Temper comes through Abbie’s bar and asks her out and every year she turns him down. He’s older and super hot. This year though is different. Her life is spiraling beyond her control and just maybe it’s time she says yes. She just didn’t count on the adventure she would get when she said yes. Temper is hot and he knows what he wants. I loved how shocked many of his MC brothers were when Abbie came into the picture. They saw a side of him they hadn’t really seen before.

Abbie finds a part of herself that she didn’t know was there either. She is much stronger than she ever thought she could be and when the chips are down she proves she is the woman that Temper needs. I wasn’t crazy about her mother although by the end I felt she had redeemed herself some. She really has some issues and projected her crap out to her daughters.

This is a great read! I mean Chantal Fernando has not let me down yet so I certainly didn’t expect her to with this.

This was a nice read... very entertaining. If I don't get to read an MC book every now and then, I get really cranky and Chantal Fernando is definitely one of my go-to MC authors ;)

This book can be read as a stand-alone, though I find reading them in order does make the reading more pleasurable, because of all the side-characters.

This time around we get Temper's story, the president of the Knights of Fury MC. I always enjoy the president's books a tad bit more...they are just that tad bit more alpha :P

Abbie was also a wonderful character and the age gap trope was the lovely sprinkle on top.

For me, this book was the perfect blend of fun, action, suspense, and romance. I had a wonderful time reading it and I am curious to see what's next.
